I lost of week of work unpaid due to this and the unit was still filthy, dangerous, and literally falling apart. A closet door fell on me, I got stabbed by a nail coming out of a hole in a wall, the flooring came up under my foot with fresh glue, the refrigerator had a dead bug and was dirty.... walls dirty, holes in doors, unfinished everything. I do not feel safe here and if a manager would present a unit in this order, its safe to say I should watch my back because she has no regard for me, my child or my pets. When I asked for the number to corporate, the manager told me to Google it and went in her office. I called over twenty times and only got a call back when I told them I was calling the City of Yuma, Dept of Housing and the AGs office. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The manager also tried to gaslight me and blame me for her not being good at her job and prepared after having two additional weeks to get this "corporate unit" together. She never once apologized and did not look at me or speak to me the day of move in, yesterday. And I know why. She was dead wrong and I feel it was purposely done. I feel violated!

No where in the lease does it say no smoking.. How about thin walls.. U can hear there tv or ppl talking, can't make a payment on phone they will hear you.. How about bug prob? Lots of it.. The pools nasty.. My apartment I was told by the big shot that mine is one of the best here.. You think u live in the good with all the shopping carts or broken glass or blinds hanging in the windows broken or trash around the place an omg it's a mess.. If I was the owner of this place I be pist.. The shootings here two ppl have been killed an one I'm not sure of. Drug dealing I've seen, cops everyday, every morning.. I'm not safe, I don't think this place is a good place to live an have kids around.. Never.. 1 star bc it won't let me post other wise.

Close to many amenities, (Zillow rates the neighborhood as 76% walkable); A couple blocks to Sanguinetti Park, churches and schools, 2 blocks to grocery store (Frys), short walk to several restaurants and fast food. The bus stop is next to complex for southbound and just across the street for northbound . Good mix of young couples, singles and seniors. Families with children are positioned on the opposite side of the complex. A big PLUS for me was no bugs! I haven' t seen any; no spiders, no roaches, nada. Huge kudos to management for cleanliness. Negatives: A little noisy during early morning and evening, but, the complex is on a main thoroughfare and we're all getting ready for, or coming home from work or school. Mostly it's quiet except for the occasional splashing of the pool and after 7-8 pm it's totally peaceful. Summary: I first arrived in Yuma and was looking for a modest apartment. The ones viewed prior to Rainbow Apartments were unkempt and/or unsafe, not close to many stores and shops or just too expensive. Rainbow is gated and the grounds are tidy. The current manager Conrad and his staff are friendly and personable. If you're new to Yuma, spending the winter here or just want a new apartment, give Rainbow Apartments a try.

The apartments are in great shape, especially when you compare them to your other options in Yuma. I could not believe how quiet the apartments are. During my second year, my next door neighbor had a baby. I'm sure that baby cried and got fussy but I never heard a thing! With any apartment there can be hiccups. In my case there was an issue with an overly friendly maintenance man. I reported it to the office and got a call back 10 minutes later from the apartment management assuring me it had been handled and it was. I'm only disappointed I couldn't take my apartment with me as my expectations of apartment life are now so high!

Initially the office staff would not believe us until we had someone come in and show the roaches crawling all over the walls. They tried to exterminate, but we were never roach free. We kept all of our food in the fridge. Parking was another major issue. There are assigned spaces and the office records your vehicle information. One night it was dark and I parked one space over. 2 days later I discover my car was towed from the lot. Management claimed that despite having my car's make/model/license #, my apartment number, AND my phone number on file, they were unable to identify the car and towed it. They attributed this to not having a computer database for it. The towing company felt bad enough about the situation that they gave me a discount. 5 stars for them. Overall the apartment was dingy. The carpet was old and beige, doors and furniture had dents, gashes etc. The bathroom sink had so much rust that management agreed to replace it. We moved out in less than two months because it was extremely uncomfortable and management was not responsive to fixing many issues.
