Water temperature was relaxing and it didn't smell like straight sulfur! I love that the whole pool is rented out by one group so we could move around freely in the space without concern. The area is kept clean and bathrooms were easily accessible. We had a baby with us and she also enjoyed relaxing in her little floaty while the rest of us lounged. My hubby and I drove to experience the hot springs since we read such great reviews. We reserved online via their website. It was a breeze to see their days and times available. We also signed our waivers online and paid using the Apple Wallet which felt pretty safe. We were greeted by a young lady sitting at the office window. She acknowledged our reservation. We were a bit early and she told us to wait a bit while she made sure things were sanitized and she would give us a tour of the hot tub area shortly. The area was so clean, private and just overall welcoming. If you are in the Boise area you and are looking for something relaxing to do, we recommend this place even though it's approximately an hour away from downtown Boise, Idaho. We paid $22 for 1 hour in the spacious natural hot springs private area. They have a large speaker that you can connect to via Bluetooth. Great experience for first time in the Hot Springs. Went with four friends we booked a private hot tub. When we got there, I realized there is only one hot tub to book and then they also have a pool that you can privately book for your party. They also offer private bathrooms and you can park real close to where you're going to be. No food is allowed in the hot tub. And you have to leave within 10 or 15 minutes of your end time. The water felt fine. It was very warm. This is definitely something you do when the temperatures are not high. The facilities are clean. Definitely book ahead. On another note, we walked around the property and saw a big open field that they own. It looks appropriate for a big party or a wedding. Great venue. Finding a facility like Roystone isn't easy. To be able to soak in a spa with pumped in mineral hot springs water is truly amazing. This was our first time visiting the Roystone Hot Springs. You can privately reserve the hot springs spa for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The spa has a very clean men's and women's dressing room, bathroom and shower. It has a Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your tunes while you soak. The medicinal benefits of the hot springs are truly amazing. Look it up on wiki. It has a pool with a basketball hoop for an additional fee. They have party options too. For me, it's the hot springs that will bring me back. Customer service is quite timid. Very little emotion delivered on our first visit. We seemed to bother the young lady when we asked to be shown the spa. It was our first ever visit. I'm not a big fan of hot tubs in general, but this was a surprising, pleasant experience. My friend in Boise rented the private hot tub for 1.5 hours for 4 of us. The mineral water was just the right temperature, and you didn't have the chlorine smell. I liked the fact that everything was private, including the dressing rooms that had heated floors! Beautiful, clean, affordable and worth the drive! We spent the night of 9/15/2022 swimming in the hot springs pool so I can only speak for that side. The hot springs tub is also available for rent and we viewed that and may try it one of these days. Definitely will return to the hot springs pool. It is a large pool that goes up to 6 1/2 feet deep on the far end. Kathy was so kind and after calling to let her know we arrived she gave us a quick tour of the pool area, since it was our first time out that way. There is a nice neat n tidy private changing area and a bathroom right at the enclosed pool area with real indoor plumbing. The next day was bliss as the natural hot springs water is filled with minerals that just relieved the inflammation and pain in our bodies. Skin felt renewed and softer than it has in years. We utilized the massage waterfall and it pounded the tension out of my spine. The temperature was perfect for us and the cool of the evening gave us relief when we were finished with our session. I cannot imagine ever making the drive to a crowded hot springs hours away again. The cleanliness, the serenity and the tranquility was so wonderful. We are now trying to sort out making our schedules align to go again sometime soon! read more

What I love the most is that Roy Stone rents the pool out for 1.5 hours and it is yours to use WITHOUT anyone else. Your group doesn't have to put up with other people. I REALLY LOVE THAT!!! This is the nicest RV park I've stayed in over the past 3 months of full-time RV living! I've stayed in 9 so far. Stayed 2 nights here and used the pool during open swim. Yes, it cost a few dollars ($2-3) more to swim, but the RV park cost per night is very reasonable ($30/night with FHU). Loved the cleanliness and neatness of the park, pool, and all the grounds. This park is fairly new with young trees, so not much shade but in time those trees will provide shade and more beauty to the place. Really clean bathrooms, showers and laundry room. Would love to hold a family reunion here as they have all the amenities for one! Either way, I'll be back! read more

This isn't your traditional hot springs. They are swimming pools. The water is piped in from the hot springs underground. The Hot Springs water comes out of the ground at 140 degrees and is cooled to 98 degrees for the pool. Kind of odd but still really nice. They rent out the facility and they also have open swim. Parking is okay, get very dark outside during the winter. read more

I just went to Roystone the other day, for the first time. The pools are small, but clean and warm. The service was friendly and the price was very affordable - much more than other established hot springs near Boise. It's not as fancy as, say, The Springs in Idaho City, as the changing rooms are small, cramped and primitive, but I'll keep going to Roystone because of their reasonable prices, warm water and friendly service. I just found my new go-to developed hot springs! read more
