This place is big to get some dog walking in. There is a Maverick gas station across the street with the best diesel price that we found. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only negative is you do hear loud traffic due to a major road if your up by the office. It is close to the highway, which makes it easy for exiting and entering.

We used the community BBQ, just a quick walk from our site. The showers are GREAT, lots of water pressure. They have a very nice picnic area with 2 grills, firewood, and picnic tables. The spaces are fairly long, not too wide, but we had enough room to put out all of our slides. We had a grassy area to the right with a picnic table and a nice tree for some shade in the heat of the day. There is a nice area for tents. There are two restrooms and 8 private showers. All of the staff were nice as were the other campers. No issues with loud noise at all. We will definitely stay again when our travels bring us this way. Around the area....shopping and anything you might need is in Boise about a half hour away. We went to Lucky Peak State Park. It has a river, a lake and a dam, and a nice sandy beach. There's a nice grassy area at the park with tables for picnics. The drive is beautiful and not too long. Majestic mountain views.

I would highly recommend passing this place up, unless you like taking showers in water.

If we were to stay more than a day I'd move on but again for just a night getting some sleep it worked. Also seems like regulars stay there... Like perhaps live there? We also signed our waivers online and paid using the Apple Wallet which felt pretty safe. We were greeted by a young lady sitting at the office window. She acknowledged our reservation. We were a bit early and she told us to wait a bit while she made sure things were sanitized and she would give us a tour of the hot tub area shortly. The area was so clean, private and just overall welcoming. If you are in the Boise area you and are looking for something relaxing to do, we recommend this place even though it's approximately an hour away from downtown Boise, Idaho. We paid $22 for 1 hour in the spacious natural hot springs private area. They have a large speaker that you can connect to via Bluetooth. The bathrooms are clean and they provide body wash for the showers.
