In the 5 years since our last stay, the park has really changed. Where it used to be a few permanent trailers in the park, and lots of daily sites, it's now flipped. The river sites are now concrete and very clean, but the park is mostly residents. The dust collection on the mill nearby is really loud. Not a bad place for overnight stops, but not what it used to be read more

Stayed one night and enjoyed the river view. Breaking down the rating: New full hook-up sites right on the river - 5 Good communication with staff - 5 General ambience - 3 The RV Park (not really a resort by any stretch of the imagination) is a mixed-use group of long and short term users. The owners' pride in their new sites is justified - clean, large level pads, nice utilities, grassy area steps away, and fantastic location at the river's edge. We saw another camper pull in a good sized fish this morning. But things that can't really be helped: rural neighborhood of some dirt roads and a lot of clutter as you drive by. Rural sounds and smells - not a problem for everyone but there is a definite farm animal smell. Downstream within sight is a Boise-Cascade plant and manufacturing sounds were very audible and at odds with the lovely river setting. We'd stay here again but would also look around at other places in the vicinity for price comparison. read more

We camped here overnight while passing through Idaho. It is a hidden gem right on the Snake River! Campsites are right on the river with hook ups. The campsites are on beautiful green grass. This campground is super clean and beautifully landscaped. Spots are big. It is a cute family campground. They have a freezer with bagged ice and ice cream for the kids on the "honor system!" Good showers and a nice laundry room. We will be back! read more

We camp here a couple times each year. One to open the season and one to close it. What a fantastic full hookup plenty of space, no mud/dirt, all pretty thick grass. Level, lots of trees/shade camping. Very well kept, and know, follow the rules (simple camping rules) and all is going to be the best little get away you have ever experienced. If you stop for one night or for a few, we always have great service, and all the reviews where folks say bad, rude, grumpy service, well those are the ones that say Me, Me, Me... the only me here is quite, relaxing sunsets and a smooth river to put you to sleep. We camp in a travel trailer and live 40 minutes away... Shhhh because it is a world away. read more

A small and beautiful campground marred by the worst tasting and smelling water I have ever encountered at a business. We have two layers of filters on our water system and still the taste and smell sickens. Bleh! We were there mid-August and the swarms of flying insects were so immense that just opening our door with the light on inside the RV enticed about 100 of them in. But they didn't bite or do other damage that we could see. Also, the owner says wifi works all over the campsite but we could not get a signal at our site despite the amplified antenna on the roof of our RV. But we did have a beautiful view of the river out our windshield, and the lushest grass I've ever seen carpets the ground. read more

Apparently the (owner or host) doesn't care too much for Californians. Got a called after we paid for our rv spot saying "Damn Californians" and hung up. Wow... I guess we were judged for being Californians. Sorry if the golden state is too intimidating for you buddy. Try not to judge, it will bite you one way or the other. We found this gem on our trip from the Eastern Sierras to Glacier National Park and it's amazing! Park right on their beautiful lawn. The river is right there. It's quiet and a few miles from the highway. Everyone is very friendly, and the price is very reasonable. read more

I never even got the chance to check in before deciding to leave due to the rudeness of the management. If I could rate this as Do Not visit At All, I would. I walked in to register, which set the bells off. After a couple of minutes, I headed outside to prepare the night registration, figuring the employees were busy elsewhere. Not a problem for me. I did see our name on the door as being expected. As I got to the Night Registration stand, a gentleman barked "You need to give me time to get here". Still, not a problem. I said I figured everyone was busy and was happy to do the night registration. It went downhill from there. The "gentleman" said that we had two reservations for the night. I indicated that we only needed one and that my husband made the reservation and that he could come into help straighten things out, that I knew he had had an issue getting a confirmation for the reservation and maybe two went through. (After further checking, we did only receive a confirmation for 1 site). The gentleman was very defensive and when asked if there was a problem he said "well, I just lost $35 dollars" I again offered to bring in my husband as I had not made the reservation. He became more agitated. I said, "fine, then you can lose $70. I'll go talk to my husband". He tore up my registration form and said " Your decision has been made". They may have a beautiful setting, I don't know. But there is NO excuse for treating customers so rudely. read more

We travel in our motorhome frequently and this is one of the nicest parks we've been to. The grounds are impeccable. The spaces are large. The staff is friendly. It's beautiful. I bought a house only 4 miles away, so I don't see a need to stay here in the future, but when friends and family who have RVs are visiting, this is the place we recommend. read more

The rudeness of the management upon arrival quickly diminished any nice river view this place offered. And driving down the lane towards the park it was a very run-down neighborhood as well. Half way upon setting per instructed by the lady at the office, the "gentleman" (owner) in the golf cart came by and said "you're in the wrong site!' ' you're six spots down!". There was no apology for the mix up or anything. Then the next day driving through the camp without our trailer for the first time, we're approached again in his golf cart. He comes right up to my window with finger pointing, to yell slow down it's 5MPH here! I and my wife were appalled by the attitude. If we were speeding we didn't know it and it sure wasn't an unsafe speed if at all! He was always patrolling from early AM until evening. Oh, and the water had a terrible sulphur smell to it that a Pur faucet filter and in-line filter couldn't even tackle. read more

This is one of the best RV parks we have stayed at in, in quite a while. Right on the Snake River and its all grass. It is so well maintained, always someone mowing the grass. Its inexpensive, $25 a night for full hookups and 50 amp and a spectacular view of the Snake River. Bring bottled water as the water is funky tasting even after being filtered. read more

We used the park as a base camp for rock hounding. There's lots of great places to hunt within an easy drive. We also went to the ghost town of Silver City. It's a beautiful park, well maintained by Dave, who is a great guy. We ended up staying for five days at $26 per night. We will be back. read more

My second fourth of July here. Love it they have a ice cream social before the fireworks and a potluck breakfast that morning. The park is so pretty and everything is so clean. You park on beautiful grass so no dirty feet or tents. It was Nice and quite even though there was lots of families around. I bring my kayaks and enjoy kayaking on the river . Dave does a great job keeping the park a beautiful place to stay. Can't wait to go back! read more

This Park is in Owyhee County. This county is known for it's nasty water. That is why we buy drinking water. Also you actually get used to the way it taste. Anyway the park is serene, flowers, birds and nice neighbors. Great place to come and get away. Try it out. read more

Beautiful park. Right on the Snake River. The entire park has mature trees and gorgeous lawns. In fact, you park your RV on the lawn. Each site has a folding wooden picnic table. They are meticulous about the lawns. They watered the lawn literally all day every day for hours and hours. This definitely encouraged the mosquitos, as does being right across the lawn from the river. But the view of the river was gorgeous! The water from the hook up smells awful and tastes just as bad. We used bottled water for everything but showering and toilet flushes. The owner is friendly but obsessed with the lawn, even asking us to rotate our evening visiting sites and asked us not to use bug repellent on our bodies on the lawn. I didn't know mosquito repellent harmed lawns. Obsessed. But, as I said, the park is beautiful and very reasonably priced. We paid $177 for five nights. We would definitely stay here again if we ever found ourselves in Idaho again. read more

This park offers a good view of the Snake River, but this view comes with great sacrifice. The manager, Dave, is obsessed with lawn care and lacks any customer service skills. Bugs are a big problem, probably due to the amount of water used on the lawn and Dave's refusal to use any type of pesticide. We setup a bottomless tent to help protect us from the many bug bites, but the manager required (not requested) we move this tent every three days so he could water the lawn. Tent campers were required to move their tents every day. Even during a holiday weekend, Dave turned on the sprinklers, preventing fellow campers from playing lawn games. I approached Dave about the tent moving and bugs, and I was "shocked" when he walked across the field, got into my face (literally inches away) and said "If you can't like it, you can leave." Our group was surprised & upset by his reaction, but we decided to stay and move the tent every three days. Laundry room was clean, but one washer was not reliable, as it would stop working mid wash. Wifi worked well from our site. Campground is surrounded by long term mobile homes owners. RV sites are on grass, not rock or pavement. RV needed some leveling. Since you parked on grass, spider webs surrounding your RV was a constant cleanup/fix. Dave would not allow us to use any bug spray as "it would hurt the grass". This manager has no concern to the wellness of the people who camp here. Closest grocery store with decent prices, restaurants and freeway requires a 30 minute drive. read more

This RV park is very clean, very well maintained, clean restrooms/wash house, right on the Snake River, boat dock, beautifully maintained flower bed and green lawn. We have been RVing full time for 5 years this park by far is one of the best if not the best we have stayed in.
