About 20 minutes later, the driver arrived after completing another ride, picked up additional passengers, then yelled at me and repeated that I was lying before speeding off. IDK it was so hard to find out when this bus runs???? While I'm the Tropicana hotel I was asking…read moreeveryone "when does the bus run?" No one knew. Finally found someone who knew of an employee that took the bus & he radio him & said it would come about 10-15mins after the hour. We went out on the bus stop located outside the Tropicana hotel & caught the bus up to the Old Town bar. We were told by a girl waiting for the bus & confirmed with the bus driver that it would be back up in 30mins. So we knew we had 30mins @ the bar. Driver said hi back to me when I said hello to him! Bus was FREE on NYE & the bus was clean. Was glad we had the bus available to get us to the top of the hill safely & back down. Wish they had the bus schedule posted at the bus stops.

It's an extension/partner of the Vegas RTC, so bus passes work anywhere in Clark County (Mesquite too). Same prices as Vegas but they don't offer the $3 for a two hour pass out here for some reason. Laughlin has two buses that circle through anywhere this side of the river you would want to go. The 777 runs 24/7 even on holidays once per hour. The 888 also runs once per hour every day, but only from like 5 am to midnight. They alternate during the day so that one hits the casino stops about once every half hour. They mostly go to the same places but take a slightly different order in getting there. Both travel the casino corridor from Harrahs to Riverside, the routes only differ past Harrahs where they veer in different directions into the residential area of Laughlin before circling back around to Casino Drive.

Anyway, the story aside, I have to say that I have had the most pleasant and satisfactory experiences with SS taxi for more than four years. I just didn't think about it until I wanted to recommend a taxi to my friend. They've even helped me drive to the casinos with my dog, 110 pound Doberman. These are good people and that's what matters to me. The price is always fair. The drivers were always considerate and they respond quickly. Yeah I'd say they're pretty good! Lol.
