The restaurant is huge. There is a full bar with seating. There are a couple of televisions above the bar to watch. There is also a decent-sized dining are in the bar area and a larger, separate dining area just off of the dining area. The staff there were friendly. This pub has a country, downhome feel. They serve pub style food, including steaks, burgers, salads, soups, fish, tenderloins, wings, pasta, fish and chips and meatloaf. Additionally, they have a full-service bar with signature cocktails. Be on the lookout for their daily specials. I got me a Popper Burger with a side of fries. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my food, and it was very delicious. It was fresh, hot and flavorful. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. They have some savory drinks and delicious food.

My family was making a trip from Indianapolis to Michigan so we added this restaurant as a stop on the way back since it's conveniently located just a few minutes off of l-65. It looked small at first but there's actually two dining rooms in addition to the really long bar area. My mom of course got the obligatory breaded tenderloin since we are in Indiana. The size was perfect (the size of two sandwiches and not the size of a whole dinner plate) and thought it was delicious. My brother enjoyed and promptly wolfed down his loaded Mac and cheese. I opted for the loaded fries since they were smothered in pulled pork, beer cheese, and fresh jalapeños. The accompanying cole slaw was delicious, but very sweet. The pulled pork was super tender and delicious. It was good, but honestly the best bite I had was the tomato I stole off my mom's tenderloin. It was the freshest tomato I've had in probably years. All of the food is grown on the owner's family farm in the nearby town of Reynolds which I'm assuming is a big part of their recent recognition. It was fairly busy on a Friday around noon. There were a few groups of people in on their lunch break and a few families. They also had several online orders as well. The servers were friendly and quick.

No trouble getting a table but the bar area was pretty full. Our server was fast and professional. She nailed everyone's drink and food orders with no issues. Food came out fast and hot as well. Tough to do with 10 people at a table. I ordered the Honey Glazed chicken. It was pretty good but the chicken had a few chewy spots. Flavor was great though. The glaze was sweet but not overpowering. 2nd night I ordered the Parmesan chicken. That chicken was great but o didn't care for the pasta it was served on. Flavor was good but just not my thing. Service was great both nights. Pricing is fair as well. Recommend if you're in the area and looking for something different than your typical nationwide chain.

Service was slow -- to non existent -- at best. We ordered two saganashkees that were bland, with little to no crust. The server said he has never served two at once before, so I guess we loose. I ordered the Poke. It too was bland and some of the tuna was hard!! Yes, hard!! The serving included a dollop of guacamole that had no business on the plate, in my opinion. Chunks of avocado, that I thought I was getting, fine, but not a traditional guacamole. Not good. Three of the four persons at our table ordered burgers and were all equally disappointing. It seemed like the burgers were diced up like it we to get used like in chili. But then, there tried to make a hamburger out of it!! Really weird. The taste was good, but unmanageable as a hamburger. One of the persons at our table ordered a shrimp appetizer. He said it was "ok". This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is quite comfortable and the beer is okay. But, that's all it has going for it. Our previous visit a few years ago was much more enjoyable. We see no reason to return.

The brewpub is cozy and inviting and their beer is amazing, but this review is a testament to their outstanding customer service. We live just outside of Chicago, so it took me a little over an hour to get there. When I got there I was greeted by Jason who helped me put together an awesome box of beer, a t-shirt and a snifter. I had explained that my boyfriend had a snifter, but it broke while he was washing it. Jason grabbed another snifter, wrapped it in tissue and said "tell your boyfriend, Merry Christmas from all of us at Four Fathers". I thought that was really awesome! I get home later on and am going through the box when I noticed that a bottle I had bought at the last minute was inadvertently missing from the box. So the next day, I sent a message to Four Fathers on Facebook explaining what happened and got a quick response from Kim apologizing for the mix up. She said I could come in anytime and pick it up. Since we live over an hour away, popping back in wasn't an option for me. She messaged me and as luck would have it, they were going to be in my area looking at a truck and we could meet. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it, but she offered to have her husband bring it to me another day while I was at work. Again, my schedule conflicted with our meeting so I asked if he could just leave it in my mailbox. I sent her my address and later that day I had my missing bottle of beer! There's not many businesses out there that will go that extra mile for their customer. This was beyond an extra mile. Not only does Four Father's have a great product, but they have great people working for them as well. Many, many thanks to Kim, Colin and Jason (and the other guy working that night but I don't know your name) for everything!

Worst part is that it is tiny. There is barely enough room to get the tables and stools in, not to mention people. Luckily, the good beer outweighs the lack of space. Maybe they will get a bigger place someday. They need it considering the popularity of their establishment.

Ambiance, food, drinks and service were all top notch! We sat under the massive old timey stained glass chandelier at the big community table. What a neat idea. I had the bison burger. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to a beautiful medium just as I requested. The coleslaw had a bit too much onion, but it was still good. My Mom had tots with the trio wrap. It was so deliciously smokey. And a "fall off the porch" drink that was just peachy and not too strong for her. But Beau was the shining star of our visit. He took time to go over the menu and make suggestions. And was very attentive to refill our waters and check in after we had our first few bites without hovering. I will definitely be back soon to try the wings!
