I came in for the first time a few weeks ago for work. I had the sticky burger cuz who doesn't love a bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter on it! Let me just say this...this was the best burger I've had in a very long time. Also Jenny the bartender was AMAZING!!! Fast forward a few weeks when I came back for work and of course I went back for lunch with co workers. This time I had the shrimp wrap and OH MY GOD!!! Ok. You have to try the fried egg rolls. I know, they can be greasy as heck but here they were phenomenal. The BBQ brisket one is delicious !! Chicken sliders were yummy. And very cutely plated. (I was starving so no photos) Husband got the bullseye burger and proclaimed it very good. Fries were yummy and chips and salsa were also very good. My fav local bar. The service and food are always great. Family friendly atmosphere but casual. Loveeee their bloodied & spicy pickles. Every season they decorate and have so many events going on. For the first time coming to this sports bar in Peotone, it certainly was a lot better than expected. It looks like a pretty crappy place from the outside. Game On may actually be the best restaurant in town to be honest. Probably not that hard to achieve, but you still have to try to be it. The prices are pretty cheap, as far as the food and big portions. Coming here we of course were skeptical if it would be any good. It's in a pretty boring town and not much is going on. The building and the buildings around it made up of what they call downtown, which was not a lot to be sure. Only after looking at the menu before going and seeing the vegetarian options were we interested. Who know they had this kind of food around here, because it actually was kind of strange. Good drinks including craft beers. It's about $5 for a pint. The menu has lots of fried stuff but also some things for vegetarians. Each of us got the Veggie Burger. It's $8 and comes with a side. Burger was actually pretty big. This came with the basic toppings. Has to be considered a hidden gem because it's hard to believe it's in a town with nothing almost. It makes a good stop off Interstate 57 worth it going into this farm type of town. There's the usual bar stuff like fries and wings as well as options for vegetarians. read more

This place is a joke. The service is beyond slow. We came in for a quick bite to eat. It took 10 minutes to order. Once the waitress came and took our order the drinks took a few minutes, which was fine. Now we ordered all fried appetizers - which took an hour. All the food is frozen, pre prepped and only needed to be dropped in a fryer. I could say it was busy, but nope. There's 18 people here. Avoid this hole in the wall. Update: today I'm not feeling well as is the rest of the people that ate with me. There's a real good reason this crappy restaurant is in a crappy one horse town, they chopped up the rest of the horses and fed them to us. read more

Manager wasn't wearing a mask behind the bar. We waited 30 minutes at our table before we realized we were not going to be served and instead went to the bar. My father in law waited 15 minutes before being noticed by the bartender and then waited another 10 minutes for her to make two drinks. A three is generous. Opening weekend was not a good time to come here. Waaaaayyy to loud and understaffed. Word of advice to the new owners, offer higher quality chicken strips and less of them. I would not feed my dog the chicken strips from this place. The new fries have potential if they are properly cooked and seasoned. And there's always a first time for everything, the cook was serving the food she just made. A little bizarre. Would have liked to see the bathrooms spruced up during the remodel. The aesthetic upgrades are very nice, chairs are comfortable and the original bar tenders are still there people pleasing. read more

I will start by saying....I have eaten all types of meals from 5star restaurants to dives with top of the line food/service to decent to poor bar food so I have experienced the best and the worst. For those writing negative reviews within the first few months of operation I feel bad that you have most likely experienced so much bad that you cannot see a solid bar/grill in a small but respectable community, but rather hate on the bartenders, comment on a flat beer (pretty common at alot of towny bars) or not understand the difference and/or impact in having a cook bring out the food.... I will share all three of my visits and WHY I like the cook serving food concept, hope it helps! I first came into Game On 3 weeks ago with my daughter for dinner, not only was the bartender/waitress friendly and helpful so was the cook that served us our food. Food was excellent, I tried the shrimp basket, mozz sticks, chips and fries. Service was excellent and overall a great experience. On my second visit it was my daughter and I again, service was great especially from someone new who was training. We tried the onion rings which were fairly standard but good and a Patty Melt which was perfect oh and the Texas Toast is amazing....next time a burger on that would be great. Finally, tonight, my latest visist this time with my son. Once again for the third time he got the Overtime Burger which I am told is amazing. I tried the boneless wings and we had the fried mushrooms as well. Service was great once again and for the simple spacious sports bar that it is I will certainly return, possibly once every week or two. I have yet to order drinks or beers but I am sure in due time I will. Regarding the cooks delivering food concept, I like it for a few reasons....given the bartender is also waitress it makes sense the cook deliver the food so patrons get their food hot off the grill with no delay and gives the cook a chance to connect with customers. This is why they do this I think, so that the cook can see people's response to the food he/she is cooking and I would bet in most cases receive some type of satisfaction from being able to be a part of that experience instead of staying in the kitchen the entire shift. Overall good food, good service and I will return in the near future. Oh and just a side note....seems like they have a bunch of drink, shot and beer specials that sound awesome. We tried the burgers at Game On over the weekend. There are a lot of great combinations including a burger with peanut butter and bacon on the burger patty. This is a great taste concoction. The sides like tater tots were very crispy and the hand cut fries are wonderful. There are quite a few TV's so watching a sporting event here will be fun too. Finally, the prices are very reasonable.
