Unfortunately the drinks were super poor. Ordered a simple Whiskey ginger ale and there was no alcohol taste at all. That was very disappointing. Tasted like nothing. And I love a good cocktail with my food. I Let the staff know about food. They were super happy and mentioned the drinks and they seemed liked it was no big deal. I visited The Heights Pub & Parlor in downtown Green Bay and had a mixed experience. The space itself is beautiful with exposed brick walls, wooden panels, wooden staircase, and accents give it warm atmosphere. That said, there were a few things that made the visit less enjoyable. The hightop chairs had no backs and there wasn't enough coat hooks to put my winter coat on. My coat ended up sitting and sliding in my lap. The wait for food was longer than expected. All this to say, after sitting for a while waiting on our meal, it became pretty uncomfortable. I ordered a Turkey Avocado Bacon Panini which was delicious! It came with the option of homemade garlic fries or sweet potato fries. I choose the sweet potatoes fries. They came with a sugar coating which brought a sweet and savoryness to the meal! Overall, the food was good, but not enough to outweigh the inconvenience. I probably wouldn't return for dinner, but I'd consider stopping in for a quick drink to enjoy the atmosphere. read more

I was in the Green Bay Area over July 4th weekend and randomly came upon Heights Pub & Parlor while wanting a few apps and drinks to hold us over till dinner! This place was so good! I was staying in the Green Bay area to see comedian Sebastian Maniscalco and I was looking for a yelp recommended restaurant for lunch. I came across this place and it was nothing short of amazing! From the rustic ambience to the fantastic bartender to the amazing food, everything was fantastic from start to finish. The margarita special was delicious and an ample portion. The poutine fries had ample cheese but were a tad on the salty side for me but the patty melt with caramelized onions and their special sauce, was out of this world and the best I've ever had and plenty for two people. If you have not been here yet, you definitely need to come visit! Every review has been 5 stars so far for a reason. This place has only been open for one year. The food and service at this place was fantastic and friendly. The cheese curds were unlike any I've had before, just cheese fried with a light crispy exterior - they were awesome. Don't let the big city chow burger intimidate you - get it, you won't be sorry. Pops and I had dinner here on a Saturday night in mid-October during the weekend of the Texans/Packers game. A two-floor establishment, this is one of the more newer modern bar/restaurants in the downtown Green Bay area. I appreciate the wooden finishes for the floors, bar tops, and walls; gives an 80's upscale vibe. As for food, you'll have your typical bar eats of burgers, salads, and appetizers. They also do entrees (large plates) of ribeye, chicken, pasta, and walleye. There's also some special feature items that rotate (I think). One of them was the Nocoise salad which I decided to order given the ingredients (spinach, tomato, olives, egg, sugar snap peas, anchovies, and grilled chicken). Packed a protein punch but didnt' make me feel sinful, I'm glad I went with this item. I hope it becomes a regular item on the menu. Pops decided on a heights burger which was cooked perfectly medium rare with a good taste. He also enjoyed the fries which had good texture and seasoning. There's a good bourbon/whiskey selection here which matches the interior vibe and local beers. The server made sure our drinks were always full and was very welcoming. Our food did take longer than we thought to arrive; there was mention of a larger party upstairs that was slowing down the service. I did get a bit hangry but they brought me a second beer and also gave us a discount on our meal due to the wait time. Really appreciate the customer service and them owning up to it. With how competitive restaurants are, hospitality goes a long way in my book. Recommend checking this spot out if you're in Green Bay for some hearty eats or having a spirit. read more

Didn't order food. Had just had one of the worst meals ever, needed a second drink. Literally went door to door looking for a decent bourbon selection. Walked in to this place and it immediately felt right. Saw a decent whisky and bourbon selection, bartender turns around and simply how are you doing. I say " I've found the right spot."
