We contracted Steve's Nursery to do lands caping in the front of our home and a concrete walkway in…read moreJuly 2019. After visiting for estimate it was determined that drainage had to be installed and the foundation needed repair. Took a few months to get the job going due to lack of communication and landscaping did not get done until November. We had no issue with the drainage or landscaping. For an extra $1100 we decided to have a gray tint and finish to the walkway. Cost of walkway was $2675. As soon as finish was applied to walkway it bubble. We asked that it be addressed but noting was done since it was already November and was told they had to have warmer days to fix. When spring 2020 rolled around we called again asking it be stripped and redone and Mike finally came out to look. Of course in Mikes eyes they did nothing wrong and he likes to use big words to make you feel stupid. He eventually sent someone out to add a 2nd coat over the already bubbled finish and it just got worse. My husband asked the worker to have Mike come back stop look and advised again we wAnted it stripped and redone and no response. A year later the finish is almost completely off because the bubbles have burst leaving the exposed non finished concrete. We even noticed that the crack in the foundation is back. After spending almost $15,000 on this project in which $6500 was for the walk and foundation repair, we are forced to contract another company to fix this mess. It's now to the point where people ask us what's wrong with the walkway. At this point Mike has made it clear that he would not fix this and I do not trust him to do it correct. I just want other consumers to know what type of service you will pay for. As I mentioned my issue is only with Mike and the concrete service. The landscaping part looks beautiful.
