Nice, little mom and pop shop located in a small, strip mall at the corner of Bridge Road. Upon arrival, there was no greeting. The young person taking the order did not greet us, I had to say Good Morning to make her realize customer service is important to success. Some of the other workers were cordial. The BLT, coffee, and cinnamon roll were good. The lavender coffee was flavorful. The turkey panini lacked flavored and tasted a little bland. I wanted to try the egg croissant but they were out of eggs. This place has potential and it is much needed in the community.

    Coastal caramel breeze coffee

I got the coastal caramel breeze iced coffee and it was delicious! The only coffee shop in the area that was open on a Sunday.

Title: A Contender for the Crown: Mom's Grill is a Must-Try!…read moreRating: Living in Washington, you learn pretty quickly that we take our burgers seriously. After my latest visit to Mom's Grill, I can confidently say the local leaderboard has been shaken up! I ordered the Original Cheeseburger "All the Way" (chili, onions, and mustard), and it was an absolute knockout. Here is the breakdown: The Burger Breakdown * The Patty: The first thing you'll notice is the size. The beef portion here is substantial--it's noticeably larger and heartier than the patties at Dairy Palace or King Chicken. * The Build: They've mastered the "Meat-to-Bun" ratio. Even with the chili and mustard, the bun holds up, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. It's a messy, delicious, classic NC burger. * The Verdict: This is easily the best burger I've had in a long time. It's simple, nostalgic, and incredibly satisfying. My Official Washington, NC Burger Rankings: * La Vaquita Mexican Grill: Still the reigning champ. These are the "supermodels" of burgers--huge, juicy, and incredibly photogenic. * Mom's Grill: A very close runner-up. If you want that classic, hometown cheeseburger flavor with a superior meat portion, this is the spot. * King Chicken: The perfect "hand-sized" burger. It's a total throwback to the old-school drive-in days. * Dairy Palace: A timeless local staple. It's a great burger, though I personally think both DP and King Chicken could reach that next level if they upgraded their beef patties to match the quality of Mom's or La Vaquita. Pro Tip: If you're a fan of a heavy meat portion and classic toppings, don't sleep on Mom's Grill. It's officially in my Top 5! We queued up 18 songs all with fast pass so they would play instantly. Two of the songs played and then the rest never did. So there goes $10 down the drain because they wouldn't let our music play that we paid for. They wouldn't offer my money back either. One star service because they're actively stealing from people!

I had just left an adult family pajama party and I got a little lit. I ordered my usual, Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with hashbrowns and orange juice. Then I proceeded to use the restroom. I planned to do so first but was occupied. I decided to sit at the bar as I came solo. When I returned from the restroom, my OJ was ready in a plastic cup. I noticed most of the staff i holiday attire. The exception was my server who was in typically Waffle House attire. My Server assumed I was ordering to go. I noticed the cook putting my order in a to go tray and I asked a different server if I could eat here and she said yes. By the time it was all said and done, my food was already packaged up. I sat inside and ate. My food was ready within 5 minutes. Joshua was the cook. Around 2:50pm, I ordered a waffle lol. By this time, it was just me in there. I bought some Touch Tunes credits and was vibing. ---- I went back the next day (Christmas) around 12:20pm as they were really the only place open. It was really busy. Luckily, there were two seats at the bar for my son and I. Our waitress was Lakeland (maybe spelled incorrectly) Around 12:25pm, I went ahead and ordered my son food. He got a kids waffle with peanut butter and chocolate chips plus bacon. At 12:27pm, I ordered my food. I got the all star with hashbrowns, blueberry waffle, and bacon. My son received his food at 12:30pm. The bacon looked perfectly crispy while his waffle was over cooked. I received my food at 12:38pm. Not gonna lie, I was initially concerned about my waffle because it looked like mold lol. BUT, it tasted fine lol. The Bacon was crispy and delicious. The toast was great as well. Another good experience!

When i think cowboy boots i think tepid, drip-coffee sitting on a burner in police-station break room, being filtered into the mouth of an overweight, but no-nonsense detective with crumbs in his wilford-brimley mustache. This place is dripping with a barn-y, live-laugh-love vibe. It's very yeehaw. And they play Christian music; which, messaging aside I probably wouldn't mind except Christian music is always across-the-board godawful. Point being, it is a very specific vibe. But. The owner runs a tight ship. It's a high volume place and no one is lolly-gagging; everyone is bouncing around on their toes, nimble and bright-eyed, ready to test the limits of their blenders with the just-called-in-order of 14 smoothies and fraps, on top of the snaked-around-the-building line for the drive-thru. They have a good system, and are usually on point, with efficiency and speed and accuracy. I have been going there for the better part of a decade and i have never had a drink screwed up. Furthermore, my drink is always consistent, regardless of who makes it -big points for that. There's another place in town where my choice beverage varies wildly in taste and consistency depending on who is working that day. Also they don't use any of those garbage Monin liquid syrups; they use the better Torani syrups, and even better, they mix the espresso with the syrup, so that it's emulsified properly in iced coffee-drinks and not just sitting heavy on the bottom of the cup for you to suck up in one go through your straw.
