Our son had a very large, hard belly that we asked Jesse about at numerous appointments. His response was "oh it's normal for young kids to have pot bellies". This quack just goes through the motions of weighing kids, looking at growth charts and asking about sleep. Critical thinking is not his strong suit. Well it turned out our 25 pound 2 year old had a 2 pound tumor nearly the size of a football in his retroperitoneal space. The surgeon essentially said that any monkey should be concerned by rock hard belly. She said babies can have big bellies but they should be soft. A simple $100 x-ray ultimately led to the discovery of this massive tumor. If Jesse Goldfarb wasn't so wet behind the ears, he may have had the basic foresight to order a cheap, non-invasive test that could have caught this tumor before it was 10% the weight of my son. If this isn't medical malpractice I don't know what is, but we are going to find out.

Find the Doctor to care for your sick child and ensure his/her well being. Oh. Is that all? How in the heck do I ever start to do that? In my case it started with talking with friends and co-workers who have children. As I hunted the elusive prey one name popped up several times, Dr. Kathleen Hutchinson and the folks at Evergreen Pediatrics. It took one phone call and arrange for her to be our Tax Deduction's Doctor. After he came flopping out of The Wife the people at Evergreen were all over making sure he was healthy (unfortunately they couldn't do much about the quaking mass of paranoia that was at the time his new Father). Not just Dr. Hutchinson, but several of the Doctors were involved in his first couple of days on the planet. Since then, through colds, ear infections, sinus infections and one particularly scary incident to us as new parents it's been all Dr. Hutchinson and her nurse, Dorothy. I couldn't say enough about them or recommend them highly enough. Even if you call the emergency number late, she calls fast enough to make your head spin and follows up the next day if you have to see another Doctor. So next time you find yourself knocked up in the 'Couve and need a good Doctor might I suggest this one?

We all recovered in one week but then my husband came down with pneumonia. Without Dr. Miller's quick thinking and propensity to treat each of us based off of our unique medical history, I don't think my husband would have recovered as quickly as he did. I have been a patient of Dr. Speakers for a long time and both my children since birth. We love…read moreher and have always had good experiences at Creekside. I just saw Dr. Speaker recently and she didn't mention the new concierge decision. She is changing her practice to this new concierge model (basically only for the rich) which leaves us now without a PCP as of September. She could have told me in person when myself and my kids were there. To give me a heads up so I could start looking for a new provider (considering how difficult it is to get in with anyone these days and when you do get an appointment it is at least 6-9 months out). Now I will experience a delay in my healthcare and most likely be without my meds until I can get established somewhere else. I never imagined being a middle class, hard working person with decent insurance wouldn't be enough to keep basic healthcare at Creekside. I am shocked at this decision. I didn't think Dr. Speaker was the kind of person who would abandon her patients simply because they can't afford it. Shameful! With everything happening in our country and the direction healthcare is going, we did not need this too. This is painful and heartbreaking to myself and I'm sure many other long time patients of hers. I am sure I don't understand all the factors in this decision but from the patient side, it's a heavy blow. Jodi F.

I am shocked as I have never had an unpleasant experience with the office staff nor Dr. Speaker. They are always warm, gracious and helpful. Dr. Speaker is a teacher at heart, as well as someone who works above and beyond for the patient. I'm fortunate in that a I don't need to go often but when I use the portal monthly to get prescription refills she responds right away with answers to any questions about insurance and options, if necessary. When I have my yearly physical, Dr. Speaker spends so much time with me that I begin to feel uncomfortable that we're holding up other patients waiting to see her - she is that thorough and present. And often I will walk out with referrals to specialists or names of someone/something in the community that may help. In summary, I can't say enough about Dr. Speaker. I don't know for sure how long I have been seeing her - probably around 20 years. In my 78 years I have been seen by many doctors, Dr. Speaker is the best at listening, teaching, responding and overall empathy to my health. And Nadia at the front desk knows me and greets me so warmly as do the other office staff and nurses. Gail Grinder

There weren't any female doctors at the 87th location, so I decided to start coming to the Salmon Creek location. This location is very similar to the 87th location I'd been going to for years. Same spa-like feel when you walk in with water fountains and a real calming vibe. There's plenty of plush chairs and benches in the long lobby area with plenty of gender neutral restrooms and hand sanitizing stations. They also have a pharmacy and lab for bloodwork. I appreciate not having to go to different locations to get things done. They use the MyChart app, making it easy to schedule appointments, pay bills, and ask your doctor's team medical questions. It's very easy to use and I usually get responses within 24-48 hours. Overall I am happy with this Vancouver Clinic location. I will continue to come here for as long as my PCP is available.

The very next day, I was told I owed hundreds of dollars because the provider was actually out of network. When I explained that I had called in advance and was explicitly told otherwise, the response I received was shockingly dismissive and condescending: "It doesn't matter," followed by, "You owe this amount, and we don't negotiate." No one should be treated this way, especially when they're already dealing with health concerns. The lack of accountability, compassion, and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. Be sure to verify everything yourself before receiving care--I felt this was a classic bait-and-switch experience.

They were really nice when I first added him, they assured me they just got a new doctor and would making appts in the next month. I called just past a month later didn't give them a name or anything but again they were nice and assured me that I should wait as I'd love it there. I was fine waiting, as I am trying to line up a pcp for my sons fall vaccines when they are due and it was summer when I was added to the waitlist. I called on August 11th without telling them who I was. Medicaid assigned my son a provider from this same clinic so I just called to see if I could schedule him since it was assigned as his pcp. The woman on the phone (it sounded like the same one previous times) was SO rude to me telling me Medicaid does this all the time and how she's told them before they aren't talking new patients and that it takes time to find a new doctor. They had already told me earlier they had found one and would be making appointments soon. I am guessing me having Medicaid for my son is one reason why I've been on the waitlist here for so long. So the receptionist was nice when she didn't know i had Medicaid but was super rude when she was told that I did. It's not my fault if there is an issue with medicaid assigning your doctors as a child's PCP and it shouldn't be be taken out on me. Maybe that should be looked into. I'm just trying to get medical care access for my child thanks. I really didn't know what to say because I was so taken aback by her attitude. Her behavior made me feel discriminated against for having Medicaid. The main reason why I have Medicaid for my son is because he is disabled. I'm no longer interested in taking my son here. Thanks but no thanks.

Her first pediatrician was Dr. Audrey Unrau. She's now retired, but she provided excellent care for our little one, and now we find the same level of care and assurance with Dr. Rosborough. We've also come in to see a few other doctors and nurses for issues that needed immediate attention and all are professional, knowledgeable, and kind. It is rare that we experience long wait times, but the very few times we do, we were updated and given options to reschedule or stay. Our kiddo is very shy and doesn't easily warm up to new people and places at first. Both Dr. Unrau and Dr. Rosborough knew how to interact with our little one, making her feel comfortable while carrying on with exams. They're extremely patient and offer excellent advice. I never feel rushed with the list of questions I present them nor do I feel pressured to do anything I don't feel comfortable giving or practicing with my family. I've been able to get my kid in immediately when something like a mysterious rash suddenly pops up. I value the after-hours service too. Care shouldn't be limited to business hours and that's something they recognize. Talking to their nurses after hours has been very helpful in that they provide knowledgeable advice, assurance, and are able to schedule immediate appointments if necessary. The nurses are very patient. When my daughter was a young toddler, she was VERY fearful of the weight scales and height measurement ruler, and I really liked that nurses like Mia (sp?) were very understanding and patient. She told me she wanted to create positive experiences for my kid at the doctor's office, so she didn't want to push it too much with the eye and hearing tests before our exam. She offered other alternatives and offered another time to have it done. The rooms are bright and fun. The waiting room has fun fish tanks that my daughter always remembers and looks forward to seeing. We haven't experienced any rude staff and were never made to feel like we were another patient. We appreciate the level of care here and would recommend this place to others looking for a good care team for their kids. Other things worth mentioning: they have a great team of psychologists for all ages. When we needed some help with behavior regarding tantrums, potty training, and mealtime, Dr. Collin Dean provided very insightful advice to help us understand the developmental changes going on with our toddler. I highly recommend him.
