Now after several months and the addition of a few more students, I continue to be impressed with Amber and Blossoming Friends. The children are well cared for, taught skills commensurate with their age and slightly beyond. She is conscientious of both their physical and learning needs. She shares with parents continually throughout the day, adheres to healthy standards for the children, and follows guidelines precisely. I am very happy our granddaughter was "accepted" as a student- I can see positive changes in her in the few months she has been enrolled and feel she is truly in a learning, caring environment, not just a "day care". She is in the KinderEdge program with Mrs. Ramsey. She has been AMAZING and exactly what my little one needed to build a solid foundation and a love for learning. Mrs. Ramsey is gentle, loving, kind, and patient to name a few. My daughter is reading, writing short sentences, and able to do simple math (by four). She is more than prepared for Kindergarten. There is the perfect balance between playing and learning (at thier own pace). They do presentations, which really helped my shy one blossom in ways only presenting in front of the sweetest age group can do. Her confidence, social & motor skills, manners, curiosity, attention span, and being used to a classroom setting along with the rules and expectations are all instilled in a fun environment. Most of the time, my preschooler doesn't want to go home. My infant can be difficult to get to sleep at home, but they manage to get him to nap every day without issue. For the quality of care, the tuition is also very good compared to other daycares in the area.
