As first time parents, navigating which daycare to send our child to seemed like a daunting task. However, after meeting with Lauren and the buddies teachers (infant class), we knew without a doubt this was the only place that would be a home away from home for our little one. While child care is expensive, this place is worth every penny for so many reasons: our child gets to be a child and learn through play, the staff keep our little one safe and cared for, the events throughout the year help us as parents feel involved, and lastly there is timely and transparent communication. It's not easy leaving a little one everyday to go to work, especially when they grow so quickly, but thank you caring connection staff for being the BESTand making that decision a little easier on us working parents. read more

Daycare is expensive. It's easier dishing out money when it's to a place I feel comfortable leaving my kids and know that they are engaged and loved. Both my wife and i are teachers and have pretty high expectations for our childcare. With that said, we are both love this place for both of our kids (age 4 and 1.5). The learning, safety, and family feel from every single one of the staff here are all 5 stars from us. Yes childcare can be expensive but we both are super happy with what our family gets at caring connections and is worth every penny. It saddens me to write this review because my child had some wonderful teachers while attending this daycare center and we have some wonderful memories. However, several parents and I witnessed things that ultimately led us to pull our children out. The school motto "safe, clean, and kind" was not matching what we saw on a daily basis. I would highly recommend that if you are considering this daycare, please take the time to review the recent complaints that have been filed with the State licensing board. Both of my kids have been a part of the caring connection family. It's been 6.5 years and we have no complaints. Everyone is awesome and I consider them all a part of my extended family. My son has been attending for the past two years. I was so overwhelmed when searching for the right place for him to grow and learn when making the choice to go back to work. I wanted somewhere that felt like home, that was safe, that was loving, and that would nurture my little boy. I've been so pleased with our experience. I know when I drop my boy off, he will be cared for, valued, and loved. He will play, learn, and experience so many different activities, filling his day with joy while mama is away. I know when finding the right place for a little one, it is overwhelming and there are lots of options. But I'm so glad I found Caring Connections because it keeps my boy little rather than forcing school life on him so young. No place is perfect, but all in all I highly recommend Caring Connections as my son who is now 3 has learned so much thanks in part to the staff. We love our teachers and our friends. read more

My son Branden has attended this school since he was about 9 months old ! He LOVES IT ! the teachers Linda and Melanie are AWSOME ! I love them and not to mention Julie is so amazing for running such an AWSOME daycare . I'm sad it's almost time for my son to leave and attend kindergarten :( they are hands on and very passionate about the children. Even when I moved out of the area I still drove 15- 20 mins so my son can attend daycare here ! They have worked with me financially over the years and really helped me out a lot . We decided to send our 1 year old son to daycare. We were EXTREMELY careful and selective about the childcare we were going to choose. After meeting The Caring Connection Children Centers staff and seeing the wonderfully supportive, explorative, and safe atmosphere they have created in their daycare we were certain that we had found the right place and have been there for nearly a year now. Our son has FLOURISHED under the care of the Ms Linda . Every single day when we pick him up he is happy, well rested, and well fed. He has learned so much there as well - the Caring Connection has helped him through all of his major toddler milestones of learning his colors an ABCS and learning how to play well with others. Their discipline style is always caring. The entire backyard has been transformed into a toddler playground with a big tree that provides shade from the sun where the kids take turns on the slide, or play with there own handmade Mud Pie Kitchen, or spend time in there huge sandbox- they spend a lot of time outside running around and our son is always eager and ready for bed at night and sleeps well during his naps. One of the other great things about the Caring Connection Children Center setup is that they cycle in each month under different themes such as: transportation, bugs, family, farm, all about me month, etc - the kids are never bored! Overall, it has been a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the Caring Connection Children Center for your childcare needs. Even during the tough time at the beginning when our son experienced separation anxiety for a few weeks, Linda was constantly texting me updates and pictures of him smiling and playing. I have not only visited this facility for years, but I have also spent time around the owner who has cared for my children at various ages/stages. I have NEVER been around a child care provider/teacher, even staff, that was more passionate about attending to not only the physical needs of children but attending to their hearts, emotional needs and their need to feel so connected, included, and esteemed. I have had three of my four children in care at Caring Connection Children's Center in West Sacramento over the last 16 years. Julie has created a really great program for bringing up responsible and independent children. But, no program would work without great employees to reinforce and cultivate the ideas. I know that all of my children who attended this center felt loved, safe, and secure. Right now, I have my fourth little guy at the center and I am never worried about how his day will go. The current Director, Lauren, is very kind and shows much love and affection for the children. I appreciate that she is always warm and tells me stories of things that happened during the day. And the trainer and activities coordinator, Chandell, is doing an amazing job training the new staff and making sure the parents are informed about upcoming events. I noticed recently that she has also been making the sure the kids always have new little gadgets and items from nature to explore, and creative holiday activities for the children to enjoy like decorating and un-decorating a little tree with tinsel or making a felt tree with felt ornaments. The most recent activity I saw was a love bug catcher that is super cute for Valentine's Day. Exploring and learning new things in a fun way is so important for the little ones, and there is no better place at doing this than Caring Connection. Also, the meals and snacks are fresh, delicious, and provide the children with a variety of different foods to try. My child really loves Ashley, the current chef, and I can tell he really likes his new teacher Bryan too. :) read more

Caring Connection is a caring educational environment with plenty of room for growth and exploration. My daughter has attended the Center for two years and has loved every minute of it. She has perfected life skills (cleaning up, pouring milk, using a cup and fork, using the potty, kind words) as well as achieved many educational milestones (animals, colors, numbers, alphabet, huge vocabulary, songs) at 2 1/2. I know she is thriving in this environment and I look forward to the next thing she will teach me. read more

They have taught my daughter so much, from using her creativity to its max, social skills, and prep for kindergarden. By reading your review, i know that you were talking about me. I dont know who you are, never met u a day in my life. I dont have a picture up for u to identify me, and even if i did, u still wouldn't know who i am. So why do you feel the need to write a review mentioning a situation you weren't around to witness? Especially when you weren't given the full story. If the teacher, who felt the need to talk to you (twisting) the story, wants to have a conversation about what really happened. She has my number. Also, im not the only parent who has had issues with this center, most of the complaints are about melanie, so again maybe melanie can call me (the parent of the child that was taken out of care) if that makes her more comfortable, since she wasn't interested in talking in person. If u personally have a good review about this place, then go right ahead and post it, but dont come on here trying to throw shade boo boo. This isn't the place for all that. I have every right to review and tell my experience with the buisness. You dont have any right trying to tell me what my truth is and what i should amd shouldn't be doing, unless you want to come pay these bills and put food in my refrigerator. I have been sending my son to this school for the last 2 years. The teachers are amazing, especially Chandell. Unfortunately, the great teachers that make the school amazing are leaving. They have lost at least 3 preschool teachers and at least 2 infant/toddler teacher in the last few months. The school can't seem to keep the teachers and every time one leaves, the kids are sad and it is destructive. They need something constant at school. I have the distinct impression that the owner believes that the teachers are replaceable. If that were the case, I wouldn't still have him there when there is another school that costs significantly less. If the teachers keep leaving, I'll have to take my son somewhere else. I don't like that as soon as my son gets used to and likes a teacher, they are either fired or leave to find a job where they are appreciated because if the owner thinks, incorrectly, I might add, that the teachers are replaceable, then they clearly aren't appreciated and that is a shame as teachers are so important. The turnover used to be minimal, but I don't even know the new teachers as some many have come and gone. read more

I used to go to this preschool!!! I loved it! I just recently turned 20 year old and can still remember how awesome this place was! The "Discovery Room" was my favorite, It had birds, fish and microscopes! The playground was great too. It seemed like such a huge place when I was a child. They had a handful of tricycles that were a blast! I wish I could be a child again at Caring Connection, if just for one day! read more

Finding the right daycare / preschool provider for your child can be a daunting task, I visited several facilities and none of them felt as welcoming as Caring Connections. I dropped by unscheduled (and during a busy time of the day) and they took the time to answer my questions and show me around. I ultimately chose to place my son in their care. Before Caring Connections, my mom had been our only babysitter, so needless to say dropping him off came with a lot a tears. The staff reassured me that it would get better, and it did. My son enjoyed being there, learning, playing, and making friends. They helped assist with his potty training, and the preschool program was right on. (he started reading in Kindergarten!) I especially loved being apart of the field trips, Holiday lunch's, and the fantastic Christmas plays. It was bitter sweet when it was time for my son to enter Kindergarten, I was definitely going to miss the team. When my son was in first grade, we had a death occur in the family. During the time when the incident happened, I did not want my son around it all. Caring Connections was there for us. We reached out to Julie and were able to leave him there for a few hours. When it was time for me to pick him up, Julie was there. I will never forget it.. she took time out of her busy day to talk to me, and lend me a shoulder.
