Review is of billing and not of the doctors. Front desk is nice. Office manager does not maintain professionalism & only sees one perspective. Check your treatments plans. The practice bills additional codes and double dips with insurance to maximize profits. Practice should be investigated for insurance fraud. I suggest finding a reputable establishment versus visiting this one. The establishment itself has all the bells and whistles and is aesthetically pleasing but I prefer a dental firm that does quality work, treats patients with respect, and doesn't try to get over. Update: I found a new dental office the same day and had the same procedures that this firm said I needed on my treatment plan. Both are in-network providers with my insurance but somehow the new place calculated at $380 less out of pocket than what Rivercrest calculated. Patients beware! Do not even give this dentist office a second thought! I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I had dental work completed in June and was way overcharged and have now been getting the runaround from billing regarding insurance not paying on the claims (insurance says they are not submitting the proper documentation) and on my refund of about $500! This place LIES, CHEATS and STEALS! Additionally, I had to get a crown on one of my teeth and the dentist totally bruised my face! I had a baseball-sized bruise on my face for 2 weeks! Run as fast as you can away from this place! They are terrible and unethical! I have reported this place to the BBB and will be filing a complaint with the Florida Board of Dentistry, Florida Office of Insurance Regulation and the Florida Department of Health. Back in Feb I started my Invisalign and from the very start my experience was wonderful. Today 11/12/24 just 9 months later my procedure is completed. I had my crowns done in Aug we are in mid Nov already. What is stopping them from submitting it then till now. I have called to follow up and I keep hearing they will note it in my file and have the supervisor get back to me when she comes back from lunch and this was at 1:30pm. I have been very patient waiting for those callbacks since Aug. even went to their clinic but the supervisor was not available. This is no way to treat customers. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They sold me on invisiline then from day 1 they screwed up my billing. I'd go in for an appt and they'd tell me I owed them 500 or more on more than one occasion. Each time I'd have to go over everything to the point I made them sign receipts acknowledging what was really owed. Complained to the dentist and she asked me to give them another chance . I finished treatment in April '23. They started sending me messages today to contact them about my account and are now claiming almost a year later that I owe them $500. They are super helpful with everything! Billing information, schedule, and so on. I was a new patient today and it went as smooth as possible. They are up to date on their equipment and I loved that they showed me every step of the way. A week ago I went in to check the place out since I'm new to the area and they were so friendly and professional. They scheduled me in even though I told them I was going to check out other offices. I appreciate how proactive they were with it and gave me the paperwork to fill out prior to coming to the appointment. My only complaint is with billing. I've submitted my primary health insurance several different times over the course of 6 months and they have not filed the claim. All of my routine cleanings and X-rays are covered by my insurance. They have only filed the claim with my secondary insurance. The last time I spoke with them and gave them my Member ID number they proceded to tell me that no ID number would begin with a letter. I received a 15% coupon for customer appreciation in the mail, great. Well I called to schedule an appt for a deep cleaning. I specifically asked for them to give me a quote for the cleaning before going, over the phone. I get quoted, yet when the procedure is over and it's time to pay they tell me it's $50 more. No big deal yet my first visit they did some X-rays and after insurance and everything they billed me an extra $75. I told the staff regarding what was quoted and that I was completely frustrated that they keep charging extra at time of paying. Nothing is done. Don't have any issues with the dentist or dental hygienist but the front desk and billing staff are not helpful at all and upcharge. Never go to this dentist, there is at least 30 other dentist in the area that will give you better service than this crap hole. My 1st experience should have been my first clue. I go in for the new patient special, instead of charging me the special price the discide to charge my insurance and charge me $150. I had to argue with them to charge me the correct amount. Then I go in for a filling and the dentist starts drilling before the novocaine is working, a pain that is worse than child birth. After he was done, he let's me know that he fixed me as best he could but I will probably need a root canal, and I get charged for the filling. 2 days later I go back in because the pain is so bad, the charge me $30 for nothing, and a referral to get a root canal. I go get my root canal, get charged over $500. So now I need to come back for my crown. BTW I never got a refund for the filling that did nothing, seems like BS! Now this is in December so I choose to change my appointment for my crown to January for insurance, but I keep my cleaning appointment for December 19th. Guess what, they said I cancelled my cleaning appointment. Again I had to argue with them they then were able to see me later that day. This was okay since I took the day off anyway, but I had to cancel my other plans. I Get my cleaning, and make a new cleaning appointment for June 19th. I go back in for my crown in January, and they wanted to give me a crown for the wrong tooth. Again I had to explain that I had a root canal by a dentist they referred me to and I needed a crown for it. I get them to understand and finally get the a crown for the correct tooth. So worries are over, now get to a normal routine. I go in for my schedule appointment on June 19th at 8:30 am before work. And guess what they cancelled my appointment!! WTF! I had this on my calendar for 6 months! All because I didn't reply to a fucking text the day before at 4:30pm. If you liked to be dicked around, go to this incompetent dentist. read more

The staff is rude!! I just called because my daughter was told she had to pay 10% for x-rays. and based on our insurance it should have been covered at 100% for cleanings and x-rays. When I called to find out why she wasn't told there was going to be a charge BEFORE they treated her, I was told they don't do that until after. The experience prior to actually getting to the facility was smooth because I was able to request an appointment for a new patient online through their website, (although, I wish they had more availability for new patients), and they sent me an e-mail to confirm an appointment. Pretty easy! A few days later upon getting my appointment scheduled, they gave me a call to double confirm I was set with the appointment (a little redundant because I followed the instructions in the e-mail to confirm my appointment but I didn't mind), when they gave me the call -- they also inquired about my insurance and got me squared away for the day of my appointment. The office is super clean and in tidy with a really friendly staff. Eileen is insanely sweet and courteous and was extremely professional and funny during the appointment.
