Peruvian chicken empanadas from PACHAMAMA
Marissa D.

RUN, don't walk! Incredible options for food. My family and I are visiting for a youth football event and our hotel was less than a mile away. The Peruvian chicken empanadas from PACHAMAMA's were fresh and delicious, simply amazing. I wanted to go back for more! We also grabbed salads and a sandwich from Savannahs which were pretty good, nothing special. The real kicker was the fresh fruit section, like literally cutting the fruit and packaging it. I also grabbed a fresh fruit juice "Berry Antioxidant" which was GREAT. Highly suggest visiting, they also had a soul food, Thai, and sushi spot but all were closed when I went.

While the Riverfront Market can't compare with Philly's Reading Terminal Market, it's pretty darn good for a city of Wilmington's size. The Riverfront Market is a great example of adaptive reuse. The restored warehouse building serves as a great setting for a marketplace. Inside you can find a variety of vendors ranging from Japanese and Thai food to fresh produce and a bake shop. The market bustles during the weekday lunch rush, attracting patrons from the various financial institutions located nearby. Outside of these hours it has a much more relaxed feel. Many people grab food to go and scurry back to their offices, but seating is available throughout the building as well as outside. When it comes to urban revitalization in Wilmington, much work remains to be done. The Riverfront Market is an example of something done right.

Fresh cut fruit to die for!

Thought this was a market. It was more of a luncheon place to buy meals. There was little produce there

We were not disappointed with the food there. It was a little loud and a little dark for my taste but the food will not disappoint. I have a separate review for that place. Christiana mall has a lot of great stores! I was on a business trip to Elkton, MD. and needed to buy some sweatpants. While I did not find any that I liked at this mall I did find other items I liked and bought. The mall itself is clean and has plenty of parking outside. The food court is pretty large with a variety of places to choose from. You will find something to eat here, there are a lot of places. There's also a Target which is super convenient! I love malls with Targets, it saves you an extra trip. The prices here felt a little lower than the Bay Area, CA. I went to JC Penny and found some nice things and the cashier lady even helped me get a coupon online to save a little extra cash. All the people I interacted with here were friendly. All the stores were out together and well stocked. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the Nordstrom. I love Nordstrom, I can even say I have a Nordstrom shopping problem. This Nordstrom is very underwhelming. There is not a whole lot of selection for women and I was bummed. I was looking to see if they had some items I saw online and they did not. The store itself was clean and the employees were very nice. I'll be writting a separate review for JC Penny and Nordstrom. This mall is a good place to shop with good stores inside. Nothing too high end, they have Coach but you won't see any of the higher end brands like Louis Vuitton or Gucci here.

The handicaped spots have no signs anymore so handicapped people don't really have a spot to park. As a handicapped person who has several issues if I fall-or get hit on your property I will definitely sue you. I've spoken to several other people who are also handicapped and are angry and if any get hurt wev agreed to sue you as a group. It would be nice if you could fix that problem rather than take the signs down and leave the metal sticking up. You are terrible care givers and should be fined. I hope others will join me in this quest. I figured you'd never accept. so I'll send it separate in one of my accts so more people can see it.

In addition, the Macy's and Boscov's save my day when I need items and for people on the PA border, this is a staple. Also, FYE is still present if anyone needs CD's still, games, or collectibles. They have the space to do it, given the vacant Sears building could either house a two story Walmart or Primark. My other criticism is that they need to have an outdoor freestanding Chick Fil A in the area.
