So let's address the sewage smell when you walk in the room first. That was enough. Then let's…read moreaddress the property "while undergoing renovation" should be closed completely. Marriott is our choice hotel and we have stayed everywhere on the east coast in them. Customer Service by the morning staff is outstanding along with Jessikah. But Jeni needs a new job. Customer service was abhorrent at best. As extremely loyal Marriottist's we have never been talked to that way. Toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. Don't feel safe here because all the doors are left unlocked. Landscaping is a jungle. Toilet has been sitting in the smoking area for 6 days. There are holes in the shade. This is unacceptable for Marriott. And especially $120 a night. Stay somewhere else folks. I rated it a one because it won't let me leave zero.

This hotel should have closed for renovations. The staff was friendly and accommodating but that…read morewas the only silver lining of the entire experience. The facility wasn't in great shape with construction debris everywhere. We were checked into a room where the AC had been off for days and after an hour of trying to cool the room down we called down and asked to be moved. We're in a heat wave this summer and it was miserable. They did move us to an adjacent room and we were grateful but overall just not a pleasant experience. Breakfast was free the next morning but heavily picked over by 8AM so we were left with muffins, juice and an oatmeal buffet. If you're looking for overnight accommodations in this area I would venture elsewhere until they complete construction. The area surrounding this location didn't feel particularly safe or like somewhere I'd feel confident leaving my vehicle overnight. * side note - the construction was not disclosed through Marriott's Bonvoy listing on their app.

The rooms don't seem to be maintained well. Our bathroom door had 2 holes in it. The toilet seat wasn't connected and slid all over the place (fun when you ave a potty training toddler). The dresser drawer would not stay shut so you run into it if you try to navigate the room at night. 3. Now this one I guess is not their fault completely, but the guy in the huge truck that parked in a spot that looks like it might even be too small for a smart cat, that was half its length past all the rest of the cars at the end making it extremely difficult to turn the corner of the building and drive on the driveway. 4. The amount of tweekers hanging around. There was a group of 4-5 of them all night at the back of the building drinking and yelling at each other all night. At one point one came knocking on our door around 1Am. 5. This is a pet peeve of mine. Having an odd number of pillows on the bed. Most people travel with a partner, 3 pillows is just frustrating. 6. Again with the pillows. They were so flat. They were basically pointless. Along with one of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in a long time. Made for a horrible night sleep. 7. What is the point of a peep hole you can't see out of? 8. No towels at the pool. Most places don't want you taking the bath towels from the room. Positives: We didn't die?

I ordered a beer from the menu; not available. I ordered a different beer; not available. I asked if they had anything hoppy ... and she was clueless. To end her grief, I ordered, "any cold beer." I ordered a second beer, she delivered it promptly, but never took my empty glass. A second customer arrived and tried to order food - not available. He tried another item - not available. I finished my second beer and departed. She never cleared anything from bar. Breakfast offering ... pathetic. This was at 7:15 AM. They had not been mobbed earlier. The only silverware available was metal knives and one lonely plastic spoon. When I inquired about forks and spoon, I was told it was on the tables - nope. Not a single table had silverware or napkins. The Corn Flakes were actually Frosted Flakes. Dry cereal, but no milk? I asked; none available. The two cups of yogurt? Expired. Bread choice? Seven, count'm seven, slices of white bread. Only one of the electrical outlets by the bed worked. I needed to charge two devices. Grrrr.

An Indian guy finally showed up and causally started checking people in. He wasn't rude but not friendly or welcoming at all. No cookies available. We got to our room and it was not great. Worn out and dingy. Stains on the headboard, lampshades- dirt around the beds. Stains on the bathroom on the floor and painters tape hanging down from the ceiling in the bathroom. The fridge was making a gurgling noise, smelled like chemicals and was big cold. We unfolded the kids bed and the mattress was super thin and very nasty with big yellow and brown stains all over it. We called down for help, to ask for a new room and they told us they were busy and would call back in ten minutes...we waited 30 and nothing. We called back...by this time it was past 10:30 at night - we ask for a different room. They said they didn't have any available. We ask if we could check out and get a refund they said no. We told them all our issues and they said they could keep our cold things for us, but they couldn't replace the fridge or fix it for at least a day. They did come swap out the mattress for us. We had to ask for bedding for that bed they said it was by request only. They only have us one flat sheet, one pillow and one thin blanket for two kids. My son had an early soccer game the next day so we stayed we didn't have a choice since they wouldn't let us have a refund. I also want to note none of the ice machines worked and we had a big pile of garbage outside of our window. Absolutely terrible
