I am extremely disappointed with the lack of follow up and customer service from Riverland Nursery. Plants that we purchased for outside of our lanai were improperly planted 4/5 inches above ground. As a result, many of the branches died. I contacted Vince to have someone come out and replant these bushes with no success. Stay away from Riverland unless you want to be ripped off!

In the front yard, the snowy bush surrounding our electrical box showing signs of wearing out. Looking around the Lowes, Homedepot and several local nurseries for the snowy bush, no where to be find! As I recalled, Riverland Nursery had a fairly large collection of shrubs, trees and flowers. Wow, the place was packed and parking in the back was completely full. I was not disappointed. Immediately, I picked up 5 containers of snowy bush for the garden repair job on Sunday! As I walk down the garden center, I noticed my favorite Mango tree - Millaka and Glenn variety are also available. Since I did not prepare Mango planting site yet, I did not pick up the Mango tree! But I will be back once the location is determine! The staff is exceptional friendly and knowledgeable!

This is the sign on highway 80 east of Fort Myers at Fort Myers Shores. Nice place loads of flowers and an am plant information class, free. Then go out and pic your plants they have wagons you can load on your beautiful plants. We bought a Gardenia plant. They have an air condition inside to pay for items and have a cold cup of water. Go check it out. Take a friend, dress cool and protect. Your eyes

    Do you have evergreens?

Yes we do! We have a great selection of different evergreens and can help guide you based on your landscape goals. Thanks for asking!

What kind of dwarf plants do you have?

Hi Betty. There are many plants that can be easily maintained at lower heights and those that only attain a height of 1 to 3' or so. Listing examples would be in the dozens.… Read more

One of the Master Gardeners told me that she used her plants and always trusted them. There were a few varieties of plant I was looking for at the sale that was already sold out or they didn't have, so I knew I wanted to go out to the farm. I've been adding to my butterfly garden. I already have a couple varieties of butterfly that visit daily and wanted to expand to include host plants to attract more butterflies and some different ones. The host and nectar plants I purchased here has me very excited. The dill plant even had a Black Swallowtail egg and baby caterpillar!

Her prices are very affordable and she has a huge selection of plants. I am redoing my garden to include a lot of edible plants and she was very helpful. I am actually going back this week to pick up some more plants from her. This is one of Buckinghams greatest kept secrets as I didn't know she was there. She is located on Peace Road and you have to drive down the road a little ways to find her. So glad I went and I will be a regular customer.

Easy, flat walking tour (or you can ride in their golf cart). Jane was great as a tour guide, with a wealth of knowledge and an easygoing style of sharing information. What an incredible amount of plants here ! While their focus is more on edible plants and plantings, there was more than enough for people interested in colorful or blooming plants and trees. Beautiful setting, like walking through a tropical arboretum, lush and tropical. We were given samples of probably a dozen leaves to eat or smell through our tour. It really opened my eyes to trying to plant a few things that I hadn't considered before. There's also a small gift shop with some unique items as well as a nursery/garden center with some of the many plants that we had seen on our tour. Nice variety and decent prices !
