After my first visit with Dr. Chang, I knew he was the doctor I had been seeking. I had previously tried Acupuncture but felt that the complaints regarding my aliments were being ignored. I went to see Dr. Chang for anxiety and stress issues. With the first acupuncture treatment, I felt a hundred pounds lighter. Dr. Chang is a warm, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable professional. He treats the person's mind, body and spirit. He is truly God sent.

After only 3 sessions with Dr Chang. Amazing!

She has seen another TCM doctor before but she was recommended Lin Sister. We didn't have an appointment and luckily they were not very busy. You fill out the form and they give you a number. The TCM doctor call you by that number. The clinic entrance is in the back of the shop and up one flight of stairs. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and was seen. He held her wrist and listen/feel the pulse. He asked a bunch of questions and wrote down a bunch of notes. He asked if she was sleeping good? Do you get up to use the bathroom middle of the night? Do you have headaches? Is your mouth dry? Are you pooing once a day? After 15 minutes of this, he gave her a list of Chinese herbal medicines to purchase downstairs. Told her to come back and see him in about a week or two after she is done with the meds. The modern (Americanize) TCM is now in packets and you mix them in hot water for consumption. The boiling actual herbs and ingredients in a pot days are gone! Interesting! Not sure what I make of this but what I can tell you is that my friend didn't feel any difference. I understand it's not magic potion and it takes time. A couple of months later, my friend saw a specialist and had a bunch of testing and blood work. She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. :-( Consultation $40 Herbal Meds $8 for a set x 7 days.

I had a terrible hives breakout all over me after attending a wedding & my doctors told me I'd have to take a 6 month treatment, & I was also told I should consider doing a weekly allergy shot for a year in order to help my situation. Another time (months later) I was dealing with a situation where I could not grasp anything with my hands without the feeling of pins and needles & heat in my palms. I knew my body was trying to tell me something and for 3 months my doctors just didn't take me seriously to help me figure it out. Both situations I ended up going to Lin Sisters & within a week of what I was dealing with, my symptoms were gone. It's a two week herbal medicine they gave me & honestly within days of taking the tea my symptoms both times had subsided. The third was for my son & again, the symptoms he was dealing with subsided with the herbal tea they prescribed for him. American medicine is just a bandaid whereas holistic medicine will actually search for the root cause & work from there & for that, I am grateful to the work Lin Sisters office does. The front staff & the doctor are truly all very pleasant people & you're for sure in good hands here.

(me & my…read moreboyfriend) I have been to 12 Dr's from CW to NYU and every board certified doctor in between. All those doctors and no one has helped me. I had given up until I looked up Chinese Medicine and saw all the positive online reviews and the various success stories with Ginseng 1668. I called and spoke to Eric and off I went to Queens next day from LI. Eric greeted me by name as as I walked through the door. Dr. Lee gave me a consultation went over everything with me and made me a specific herb tea to take home and drink for two weeks along with an herb pill. They also made a tea for my boyfriend.(he loves it and has more energy and it has helped with his hip, joints, rocasea, inflamation, sleeping and his mood) Me & my boyfriend are both drinking tea. I have never felt better!! I can't belive it I am so blessed! I prayed they would be my solution and so far it seems to really be working! I am so greatful to you both for your kindness and I thank god for a place like this because I had given up on the medical field. I am 10K in the hole with doctors pushing me off one to another and I am in the medical field. Doctors have broken my faith and spirit. I will make my laundry list of ailments and go back next week for a refill on my tea and keep thanking god for giving me the gift to find them. This is the photo I took when I was there. Nicest people ever! Thank you Eric & Dr. Lee you are my angels. Wendy & Bob

(Lyme disease - well versed in herbs and have been using all the Chinese herbs used to eradicate the bacteria ) I had high hopes of getting what I needed at this place due to quite a few articles and videos of said place. Upon getting there they did they have what I was looking for in stock (albizia mimosa bark he huanpi) and a couple other herbs. I grabbed astragulus, Chinese skullcap & the albizia bark. I was charged for roughly 300 grams of albizia bark $30. I should have went with my instinct and went over to flushing and dealt with NYTRT. (Tong ren tang) they are selling the same bark a pound for 11$ I could have gotten 3 pounds of mimosa albizia bark -I didn't even close to a pound yet triple the price 30$ they weigh it and say gram wise & make it sound like a good deal 50g for 5. You can get the same at NYTRT for 2.50. I won't be back and I read multiple comments because of the social media visibility they have started to take advantage of people and that is 100% fact. I would of just ordered it online myself but figured I'd go directly to the source since I had seen such good reviews of the owner (btw he was not there when I went) they also tried to sell me a tiny bag of ginseng for 50$ I immediately was like absolutely not. Sad to see such a "great" place turn greedy when people truly could benefit from using Chinese medicinal herbs. I will be sure to document my experience for social medias in hopes that someone doesn't waste their time or money going there like I did today. Highly disappointing

My friend kept on my case that I should see a doctor. Unfortunately I don't have any insurance and any out of pocket cost would be a problem. Then I remembered as a kid my mom took me to a Chinese bonesetter for a foot injury. I searched the internet and Mak Suk Dit Da came up. As the reviews were fairly old, I decided to take a chance. I just went to the address and rung his doorbell, and he accepted me as a walk in. I spoke Cantonese to him and I sat down and explained my injury. He said to place my foot on the stool and he massaged and stretched my left foot and applied an herbal poultice. I asked him if he was ever on Elizabeth st. I told him my mom took me to bonesetter when I was 8 or 9 (about 50+ year) and it was the same person. I'm happy to have found him again for my injury. The whole process took about 15 minutes. I remember him as having a magic touch and had a great reputation for dit da bone-setting. As he finished wrapping up the bandage around my ankle and foot, he said the injury wasn't serious and that I should be okay to remove bandages in a couple of days. The cost was very decent for today's price. As I exited his office and went home, the pain was much lessen and ankle more mobile. I didn't limp as much after the treatment. Thank you.
