My family and I were able to book a room here last minute for Fourth of July weekend. Everywhere else was sold out. When I had called to ask about availability, the employee had said they had a room with two queens available. Come to find out there was not. We got a room with a single king but they assured us that they would provide an air mattress. At the end of the day, they did not and said all were all being used. The room itself is a decent size with a table and two chairs and bathroom is fine. There is a casino floor and couple other restaurants and a cafe. The pool is not that big and only 3 feet deep, which is disappointing. You are able to ask for a pool towel at the front desk. The front desk is helpful with information about the area. Overall, not too bad. Crazy though with it being the fourth,

This hotel is disgusting and a waste of your money. The one star rating I gave it is for the free parking. And that is all. Dirty, stained, smelly and gross hotel room with stains on the toilet, crusty rust coated bathroom sink and toilet and even missing grout in the bathroom. Just disgusting. The flooding that happens in the shower is just nasty and the water only drains after the water is turned off. Worst shower ever. The nasty underwear that was left in the closet was just too much. The constant noise and room shaking from other guests on other room floors and the cardboard mattresses is all this hotel has to offer. The only good thing about it was when we checked out a day early. Will never go back here.

I enjoyed my stay here. I was in room 161, with a courtyard/garden patio. Everything was conveniently located, and the accommodation was extremely well priced. The amenities are a little lackluster. Vending machine didn't work properly. And the restaurant hours were not great for a mid week stay. The Claim Jumper was the only restaurant open and it was... just okay. Parking is easy. I'd come back.

I mean, it was okay. First timer in Laughlin. Totally understand that this would be not the fanciest place, so the high rating is on the relative scale. We had our dogs, so got a patio room, which was great to walk out our room to a pretty large grass area for the dogs. Nice that it's attached to restaurants and the casino. We went to Claim Jumper. We got the 24 karat cards for $5 of free play. Played video poker and got free drinks. I won $28 on the bull slot, yay! The worst parts, I moved rooms because the first room had a big pile of dirt, no big deal, really. We got to the second room with the dog. The outdoor was muddy cause it rained and I went to grab a towel to clean the dogs paws and noticed we didn't have towels or trashcan liners and there was a pair of dirty rubber gloves on the counter. The front desk was super nice about it though. The bell hop was great! Super helpful with all our stuff The only real bad thing was the air conditioner was so loud it was hard to sleep until I put in ear plugs... Would I stay here again, probably not, but more so cause I don't need a trip to Laughlin, ha

Casino at the Golden Nugget is okay. When we went during weekday, 3 Card Poker didn't open until 4 pm, which was a bit of a bummer. Good to know for next time. The ceilings are also a bit low, and the setting is quite dim. Service was great, and the slot machines worked well. I did like the entrance area though. The waterfall decor structure was a nice touch.

This is the Riverview room we got.

Smaller and not as chaotic as other hotels. Very dissapointed in their 'riverview' room

Guess I just expected more from hotel than what we got. I booked a 2 queen garden view room. Beds are definitely not queen, but full. Garden View is a view of shrubs, tree and parking garage. We were only there for one night so no, I didn't complain. Our room definitely was older, but being old doesn't mean it can't look ok. Bathroom light switch cracked all the way through, easy fix if they did it. Housekeeping is really biggest issue. Around the tub, black yuck. Stain of I am not sure what on the pillowcase, entire pillow ended up in corner of room. Then in middle of the night, finger got caught in sheet, had a hole. Won't ever be back or give another chance.

Do the terrace rooms have river views?

Is the west wing connected to the casino?

Yes! Both the East and West wing are connected to the casino via the hotel lobby.

Never been, do the windows actually open?

Yes they do! And if you get a room on the ground floor, you get a big sliding glass door that opens, too!

Like a rice bowl spot or something that has healthier (gluten free) options. The Range restaurant is nice but only open for dinner. We ordered to-go since they didn't have any reservations until later at night. The arcade is fun. We had an issue with the card. We had points/tickets on the card and when we went to refill it, the points disappeared. Then after a few minutes of playing, the points reappeared, but the money I had refilled disappeared. We come back to the room, I play some music while getting ready on my speaker I brought with me. We notice we left the bed all sandy from the beach and call room service for our sheets to be changed. We leave to dinner with my family for approximately 2 hours. We come back and our towels and our trash are on the hallway outside the door. A lipstick stain that is not mine is on the towel. We think it's strange, walk in and notice the bed has not been touched. Very weird. We decide to clean up and listen to some music before we go back down with my family to gamble. Or stay this time started off with a long wait to check in, and we noticed that there were supervisors or some type of management staff in the back that never came out unless called, other casinos management staff would assist on getting all the incoming guest assigned their rooms. Now, when it comes to the rooms, we had requested a non-smoking room and they told us at time of check-in that there was none available so they gave us what they could which was unsatisfactory. My wife needs her CPAP to sleep at night and last time we stayed at a smoking room. The smell of smoke contaminated her medical device so bad that she had to exchange it for a new one with this in mind she asked again after checking in and inspecting room if there was any non-smoking rooms for this medical reason and they told her no, so she insisted on speaking with management and after speaking with management , they found a non-smoking room on a different floor that they could provide us. What a miracle. The day after we checked out, my wife checked her bank account and noticed that there was a short on the security deposit, and when she called to questioned it, they told her that the maid service had claimed that we had opened up a water bottle that was in the room and that each water bottle is five dollars My wife and I know better than to use any non-complementary item left in the room because we know that the charges are extremely high and when she told the management staff that we did not use any water bottle or any non-complementary item she was told that if the maid service puts it in their report, then they have to charge no matter what, it all lands on the maid service and what they write down on the report. I suggest to all in the future, if you're staying at this location, videotape and take notes of everything that is in the room and the condition that it's in because it may be a tactic that they used to get a little extra money for the hotel. We are truly going to videotape and photograph all these items. Next time we stay if we decide to return and if we do get charged, we will immediately forward these photos of a before and after of the room's items. On the positive side I would like to thank the employees at the rewards desk for all their help. They are extremely nice and helpful group of people unfortunately that's the only plus I could say about this hotel at this time.

Definitely one of the worst hotels I've been to. If you book a room here, the elevator situation is insane. I've never had to wait in a huge line trying to get to my room. I asked a worker if there were stairs that we could use to avoid the massive line and she straight up lied to my face. Once we got to our floor, we checked to see if there was a stair well and sure enough there was a door at the end of our floor hallway leading to the stairs. Also housekeeping just came by knocking loudly at our door at 8:45am when check out time is at 11:00am. We even had the "room occupied" sign hanging on the door handle. Very rude and not okay to disturb guests in their rooms when it's not even close to the check out time. As far as the room itself, A/C doesn't work well, pillows are very thin, and mattress/bedding isn't comfortable. It is crazy and a shame that the Tropicana is in relation to Caesar's because it is not on the same level whatsoever as the one in Vegas. Way below it actually. I'd recommend not coming here. Also to add some of the workers here seem to hate their jobs. I will be booking at another hotel next time I come here and avoiding this hotel at all costs.

Also, there might be 7 television channels available but we had a great river view. We stuck to eating at the different themed casinos within the Lodge. We went to Red Dragon and tried the pot stickers & pork char siu with rice; sadly no sauces were available & the staff seemed very frustrated not having the necessary supplies. By the way, they will not pour a drink in a paper cup for you in case you want to take it outside for some reason. Still it was cheap with a total of $10.80 for both dishes. We also tried a personal pepperoni pizza at Dotty's, which wasn't bad just not very hot/ warm. I believe that cost was $7.00. Some employees were very friendly and helpful, while others weren't welcoming at all. Unfortunately, the rooms were terrible and clearly lacked proper cleaning. The room immediately gave me the heebie-jeebies. There were strands of hair all over the bathroom, the vents were caked with dust, the carpets were filthy, and the walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There was also a strong odor in the room that management appeared to be trying to cover up with an overpowering deodorizer, but it only made the room more unpleasant. The sinks and toilets were dirty, the refrigerator barely stayed cold, and the air conditioner never cooled the room enough to be comfortable. The pool was dirty, overcrowded, and not enjoyable. The drinks were also extremely overpriced--$17 for a drink that definitely wasn't worth the cost. The casino was another disappointment. The amount of cigarette smoke combined with poor ventilation was overwhelming and gave me a headache. One experience that really concerned me involved my 10-year-old nephew. He hurt himself while we were at the pool, and when we asked a staff member for an alcohol pad, we were told they didn't have any. I couldn't understand how a hotel with a pool wouldn't have basic first-aid supplies readily available. After my brother found another employee, we were finally given two alcohol pads, but it shouldn't have taken that much effort. If it had just been my husband and me, we would have packed up and driven the four hours back home or found another hotel. Since we were traveling with our children, we decided to make the best of it. I ended up wiping down the room and bathroom with bleach wipes myself and told the kids to keep their shoes on the entire time because I didn't feel comfortable with the cleanliness of the room. One final thing that made our stay uncomfortable was the number of stares we received for being Black. I can't say what anyone was thinking, but we had several moments that made us feel unwelcome. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment and nowhere near worth the price. Between the lack of cleanliness, maintenance issues, poor first-aid preparedness, uncomfortable atmosphere, and overall experience, I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
