My family and I were able to book a room here last minute for Fourth of July weekend. Everywhere else was sold out. When I had called to ask about availability, the employee had said they had a room with two queens available. Come to find out there was not. We got a room with a single king but they assured us that they would provide an air mattress. At the end of the day, they did not and said all were all being used. The room itself is a decent size with a table and two chairs and bathroom is fine. There is a casino floor and couple other restaurants and a cafe. The pool is not that big and only 3 feet deep, which is disappointing. You are able to ask for a pool towel at the front desk. The front desk is helpful with information about the area. Overall, not too bad. Crazy though with it being the fourth,

I enjoyed my stay here. I was in room 161, with a courtyard/garden patio. Everything was conveniently located, and the accommodation was extremely well priced. The amenities are a little lackluster. Vending machine didn't work properly. And the restaurant hours were not great for a mid week stay. The Claim Jumper was the only restaurant open and it was... just okay. Parking is easy. I'd come back.

I mean, it was okay. First timer in Laughlin. Totally understand that this would be not the fanciest place, so the high rating is on the relative scale. We had our dogs, so got a patio room, which was great to walk out our room to a pretty large grass area for the dogs. Nice that it's attached to restaurants and the casino. We went to Claim Jumper. We got the 24 karat cards for $5 of free play. Played video poker and got free drinks. I won $28 on the bull slot, yay! The worst parts, I moved rooms because the first room had a big pile of dirt, no big deal, really. We got to the second room with the dog. The outdoor was muddy cause it rained and I went to grab a towel to clean the dogs paws and noticed we didn't have towels or trashcan liners and there was a pair of dirty rubber gloves on the counter. The front desk was super nice about it though. The bell hop was great! Super helpful with all our stuff The only real bad thing was the air conditioner was so loud it was hard to sleep until I put in ear plugs... Would I stay here again, probably not, but more so cause I don't need a trip to Laughlin, ha

Casino at the Golden Nugget is okay. When we went during weekday, 3 Card Poker didn't open until 4 pm, which was a bit of a bummer. Good to know for next time. The ceilings are also a bit low, and the setting is quite dim. Service was great, and the slot machines worked well. I did like the entrance area though. The waterfall decor structure was a nice touch.

Guess I just expected more from hotel than what we got. I booked a 2 queen garden view room. Beds are definitely not queen, but full. Garden View is a view of shrubs, tree and parking garage. We were only there for one night so no, I didn't complain. Our room definitely was older, but being old doesn't mean it can't look ok. Bathroom light switch cracked all the way through, easy fix if they did it. Housekeeping is really biggest issue. Around the tub, black yuck. Stain of I am not sure what on the pillowcase, entire pillow ended up in corner of room. Then in middle of the night, finger got caught in sheet, had a hole. Won't ever be back or give another chance.

While i wouldn't give this place a gold star review, I wouldn't label it as poor either.....that means it falls somewhere in the quiet realm of mediocrity. That, by the way, is just fine. CHECK IN: i checked in with ease, BUT just to note if you try to get in before 2pm a $33.75 fee applies. No thanks! ROOM: Your room with be in one of 2 four story wings East or West. Protip- the pool was in the East wing. I was in the West wing, my room overlooked some barren courtyard where grass once was (and some still remains) but looked pretty trampled. Accommodation itself was what you would expect. It was basic and fits your needs for a Laughlin visit. Everything looked to be in good repair and clean. The Air conditioning unit was questionable in its operation, but the windows here do open a little if you need cool air. For the price this place served its purpose. PROPERTY: Yeah so they may not be as flashy as their Vegas counterpart, but this Golden Nugget location doesn't need all the glitz and glamour to shine. Free parking, a decent room and food options are all we need in Laughlin. And a bar named "the Sand Bar" all will definitely make you feel like you are on vacation.

We stayed here for an April weekend for a country music concert that was in town…read more I made the reservation in December. The price was very reasonable for one of the newly remodeled king suites in the North Tower. I was able to pay half at booking and the other half at check-in. I got an email the morning of check-in allowing me to bypass the regular check-in process and check in online. I was very disappointed when I arrived to the hotel realizing I had to get in a long line and do the check-in process again even though I already did it and put my credit card down online. What is the point of offering early check-in? The second disappointment was the elevator situation. There are six elevators in the north tower. It appears that all of them are working. However, it was always a long line of people to go up and down. We got to our room, which was spacious and nicely decorated. However, it was not very clean. I had to use Clorox wipes and go over all the surfaces which still had unknown substances on them as well as a buildup of dust. For just being renovated, the room is still very dated. It was mostly cosmetic changes not a true renovation. On the plus side of the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the water pressure in the shopper was fantastic. The biggest issue I had during my stay was the lack of maid service. We called down on Saturday morning to advise that we were leaving for the afternoon and would like some fresh towels and our room serviced. When we got back Saturday evening, the only thing that had been done was some new towels were thrown on the couch. The garbage was not removed. Neither was the old towels, and the bed was not made. When I did the online check-in and specifically asked if I would like the room cleaned while I was there and I checked, yes. While we were here, we tried Guy Fieri's Mexican restaurant. It was fantastic. The service was great. It was probably the best guacamole I have ever had. I highly recommend making a reservation. We had reservations at the range steakhouse the next night. It is a nice restaurant but very dated. There are nice views of the river. The stakes were very overpriced for what we were given. The lobster mac & cheese was pretty terrible. Our waitress was very nice and quick though. Check out was easy since I was actually able to do that online and not have to wait in line again. Parking was easy and free.

There are no food options late at night, no vending machine snacks, the slots don't pay anything... the amount of people and kids is ridiculous, the room was probably the worst room only a bit worse than circus circus... oh and the room was about $500 for 2 nights... they price gouge on 4th of July and don't invest any of that money they steal from you into infrastructure, customer service, payback from winnings... just a place to lose all your time and money... we don't recommend this place and definetly will not have any of our business conducted here and will tell our family to stay away... this place is a -2/10, doesn't even have potential... just sad DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT STAY HERE, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST

Only saw one person get a payout the entire weekend. The Mexican restaurant's line was insane, maybe should have been better prepared and open later for concert weekends. The coffee show employees were incredibly slow. Always a long line. Their process is so outdated. The good. : They have a Fatburger, the drinks were cheap, as in 2 slushy drinks with a quick pour of alcohol was $7 We opted for the kids pool as I didn't sleep at the night before I needed a nap. We tried the adult pool there was 1 million people in the pool on the deck alive band. Not what I was looking for so kid pull it was which worked out great. Happy that I had that option. They also serve those tall slushy drinks, which we got virgin one to take to the pool. I believe there was bowling in movies, but I didn't really see that portion of it and I think they have bingo. Oh, they do have a kids arcade so there's lots to do and it was pretty clean for the most part

If you are planning a wedding here read on : My daughter was married at this establishment on June…read more19th, and as the person who paid for the event, I would like to share my feedback regarding our experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with several aspects of the wedding. First, the photographer who was recommended by the venue did not meet our expectations. For a cost of $600, we expected much better quality. The lighting in many of the photos was poor, several special moments were missed, and there were very few photographs taken during the ceremony itself. This was especially disappointing because those moments cannot be recreated. The food was another major concern. While I did not hear many complaints about the Prime Rib, the Chicken Piccata was completely bland, barely warm, and the asparagus was overcooked to the point of being mush. Many of our guests, myself included, left most of the chicken plate untouched. It honestly resembled a microwaved frozen dinner rather than a freshly prepared wedding meal. Considering our reception consisted of only 28 adults and approximately 11 children, there is no reason the food should have been served in that condition. There was also confusion regarding dessert. We were never informed that dessert was included for the adult guests. Had we known, we would not have purchased a three-tier wedding cake. Unfortunately, the cake sat out for several hours, causing the layers to begin collapsing. Staff repeatedly attempted to repair it with additional icing as the topper sank into the top layer. I requested multiple times that the cake be refrigerated, but those requests were never acted upon. Although we did receive a small compensation for this issue, it did not make up for the loss of a significant and expensive part of the reception. The service overall was also disappointing. The only staff member who stood out positively was the waitress handling the bar orders. She was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the evening. In contrast, the rest of the staff appeared disengaged and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing them whenever we needed assistance. Overall, I paid approximately $2,500 for this event, and I do not feel that the quality of the food, service, or overall experience reflected that investment. While the wedding itself was a special day for our family, many aspects of the reception fell well below our expectations. I did voice my concerns with management and I was pretty much told too bad so sad.

Also, there might be 7 television channels available but we had a great river view. We stuck to eating at the different themed casinos within the Lodge. We went to Red Dragon and tried the pot stickers & pork char siu with rice; sadly no sauces were available & the staff seemed very frustrated not having the necessary supplies. By the way, they will not pour a drink in a paper cup for you in case you want to take it outside for some reason. Still it was cheap with a total of $10.80 for both dishes. We also tried a personal pepperoni pizza at Dotty's, which wasn't bad just not very hot/ warm. I believe that cost was $7.00. The last thing we tried was a pot roast dip sandwich at U1 that included fries & au jus. The flavor was good but the sandwich had no cheese at all; cost $7.00. Not super overwhelming like others had mentioned. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and very roomy! There was no hair left laying around in the bathroom as previously mentioned in other posts. The water pressure in the shower was great, however the shower head was very low. My husband had to squat just to get wet. The toilet was also very low which was a little weird to me. The room came with an iron, ironing board and a blow dryer. Our end table did have an issue with the drawer, it kept opening but it wasn't a deal breaker!! I just so happened to have tape and that did the trick. The temperature knob in our mini fridge was missing so it took us a while to figure out how to make it cooler. The ac kept the room nice and cool but it was very loud, sounded like it was struggling big time. They had a smart TV, we were able to access netflix, amazin prime and another service (i cant remember) The arcade was decent but was prob better for smaller kids. Our kids still enjoyed it. The family pool was beautiful with plenty of sitting areas. It was about 90 something degrees when we went but the water was too cold for me! The kids and my husband had fun on the slides they had. They don't allow outside food or drinks but they had a little bar/snack shack. We did have to pay an additional 15$ for an extra pool wristband. 4 were given for a double bed room. The private beach was very cute but we didn't really spend any time there unfortunately. The ice machine was working and was a short distance from our room. We got panda express pretty late in the day, the food was a little sad but it was expected. We were located in the central tower, maybe all the terrible reviews werw from different areas of the hotel? Who knows. The only positive experience we had was with the bell and valet staff. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly fast every time we needed them. They were easily the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was another story. The carpet throughout the room had numerous stains, including what appeared to be a large red stain near the bed. The room felt so dirty that I didn't even want my bare feet touching the floor. We ended up sleeping on top of the blankets because we weren't comfortable enough to sleep in the bedding. The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub barely drained, leaving standing water while showering. The bathroom exhaust fan was caked with dust, there was visible mildew or mold-like staining near the toilet plumbing, chipped paint and cracks around the bathroom door frame, and gaps around the shower fixture where it wasn't properly sealed. The cleanliness throughout the room was disappointing. The TV remote was covered in dust, the furniture had a noticeable layer of dust, there was dirt and debris behind the furniture, and even the ice bucket had visible residue inside. Overall, it felt like the room hadn't received a thorough cleaning in quite some time. For what this resort charges, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The property has a great location and friendly valet staff, but management really needs to invest more in housekeeping and room upkeep. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

Then I used a bellhop to transfer the luggage to the hotel room and he was quick, friendly and very careful with the luggage. He followed me up to the room with my luggage so that I didn't have to wait for them to deliver which is typical. The room was clean and provided the necessities. Remember, I paid $44 including the resort fee...I was not disappointed. I enjoyed my stay overnight and the next morning called a bellhop who immediately came to the room and I joined him as he took the luggage to the car.
