I stay here pretty frequently for work. The property itself isn't the most lavish and modern. However, it is clean and upkept. Normal wear and tear for its age. Ample parking and a free shutttle available to travel between properties. Buffets are far and few in southern Nevada so it was nice to see the cafe offered a breakfast buffet option. Brew Brothers is the main thing here with a variety of American bites and refreshments. One thing that I love the most about this location is BINGOOOO! The hall ladies are friendly and fabulous. Every session is different, unlike Vegas. However, they offer helpful info sheets to easily walk you through the rounds and the payouts. Judy is my goodluck charm! One thing that I do love is that when I buy electronic, I can pull whatever packs I want out to play on paper instead of having to buy extra side packs to get my dobber fix. The best part? The arcade inside the casino double charged us. I notified the employees attending the arcade immediately. They took our information and said their manager would contact us. When that never happened after a couple days, we contacted the general casino. Got the runaround and everyone we called didn't handle that issue so transfered us around. Noone answers the arcade phone. Finally filed a complaint with Cesars directly and still have not received a call back, refund, or any kind of update. I'd chosen the Trop because of its Caesar's Resorts affiliation- I've previously stayed at Caesar's Palace, Paris, the Flamingo¹ and was reasonably confident that the Trop would suitably reward my good faith. ¹ I stayed at the Flamingo Hilton, where Elvis Presley once pioneered the entire "artist in residency" format, in the summer of 1994. Bill Clinton sat in the Oval, prior to staining Monica's blue dress; gas was $1.21/g and our rooms cost only $21/night. As it turns out, my faith was repeatedly challenged throughout this getaway weekender that was more "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" mini-vacay turned amok than "Roman Holiday." Lemme, your disheveled but faithful correspondent, recount the ways our expectations were steadily torpedoed: Musical rooms - We changed our room three times in the first 18 hours! We pivoted from room #1 because it lacked the in-suite fridge that this diabetic requires (and had pre-paid for on Expedia). Room #2 was just fine...'til I discovered an awful flood on the bathroom and carpeted hall floors due to... Nasty Plumbing - The toilet scarcely, lazily flushed mere deposits of the watery variety and the bathroom sink failed to drain. Until 1am, when I sleepily traipsed to the bathroom then nearly slipped and fell on the floor, deluged with black, stinky effluence that had apparently disgorged itself from the pipes underneath the sink! Vending Machines from Hell - Several vending machines, ranging from ICE VENDING MACHINES to soda dispensers and even one proudly peddling the Cake Boss Buddy Valastro's famous cakes were all marked with glum "Out of Order" signs. Tight w/ Blankets - The hotel withholds blankets. The beds are dressed with nothing but sheets and a very thin comforter. We hadta request two extra blankets from the housekeeping staff. Not all of our stay was an abject failure. -On-site restaurants include Guy Fieri's "Burro Borracho," (Nacho Average Taco Joint, the poster proclaims) the Brew Brothers and Carnegie's where we enjoyed a "Buy One Full Price, Get 2nd for $1" special on dinner. -The plantation shutters are a nice, whimsical touch in a chain whose rooms lurch from contemporary furniture (good!) to hideous popcorned ceilings ("Three's Company" demands it's set back!) Pro Tip- We did not realize til our arrival that the Tropicana actually is perched ACROSS (CASINO DRIVE) from the Colorado River- Most of its competitor venues like Riverside, Edgewater, Aquarius directly abut the mighty river. AVAIL YOURSELF of the oft-running River Taxi to use the private beach at sister property Harrah's Laughlin Resort! Assistant Hotel Manager Sache "Renae" Mark's deserves plaudits for resolving our complaint to our satisfaction. Renae not only graciously stayed a few minutes beyond her appointed shift departure time to help us, but slashed 30% offve our bill as a token of good will for our plumbing fiasco. Yikes! The front desk staff was great, but that's the only positive thing I can really say. The rooms are old and need updating, but I expected that. What I didn't expect was that the room would look like it hadn't been cleaned for months. All dressers, tables, the tv and shower curtain were covered in grime (see my pic). There were long dark hairs on the bed and the pillows were so flat and hard that I felt like I was sleeping on a door mat. My wife and I are an avid Laughlin Nevada visitor, and we decided to spend a few days at the Tropicana for my birthday. In the past this has been one of our favorite Hotels to stay at. However, times do change, as such, the Tropicana has also changed and not for the good. We were placed on the 23rd floor. The toilet ran super slow, always seemed like it was going to overflow with every flush. Oh the topper, we only had hot water the first night. And this wasn't just our room, it was multiple rooms and multiple people that we spoke with. My thoughts, "Really, with all of the gambling monies, you can't prepare for this emergencies and invest in better equipment." Secondly, the hostess' that walk around while your gambling were absolutely no where to be found. In the days we were there, my wife had only one bring her a drink and her she had to flag down. I, myself, never had anyone walk up to me. And with the amount of children running around, and minors sitting in slot machine chairs, I told my wife "this has become the Circus Circuis of Laughlin." My suggestion, if your an adult or adult couple who want to spend adult time at a good casino, then you may want to try out Harra's. read more

Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of this hotel. It's too bad when Caesar's took over that they didn't do room renovations on all the rooms. We stayed here on 12/31/2025 to celebrate NYE. It's not a hotel we normally stay @ when visiting Laughlin but it was inexpensive. The room we had was soooo plain! There wasn't one picture up on the walls. No refrigerator in the room, barely any outlets & not one close to my bed. The TV was super small...time to upgrade guys! Our view out of our window was of the parking garage. We just stayed one night & was really only in our room to sleep. We stayed out late & ended up passing out after getting back to our room that we over slept & woke up around 11:20am. Ooops...check out is @ 11am but no one came knocking on our door so we quickly got up & headed out. We never used the shower so I can't tell you how the water pressure is. Check in was easy & I didn't have to wait in line very long. Lady @ the desk was nice. The one thing that I really enjoyed was how packed the casino was. It's never that busy anymore but it was NYE but after it was over the casino was empty. I did enjoy playing Wizard Of Oz machine & actually won a little bit this trip. They have a really nice gift shop. I don't like staying over on this side & away from the river. We did walk over to Riverside as that's one of our favorite casino's & it's about a 30min walk over there. I kinda wished I paid the extra money to stay elsewhere. I had a great time at the Tropicana Casino and lounging in the bar area. There's a huge parking lot and plenty of amenities inside to keep you busy, from boutiques and an arcade to a pool area, food, and beverages. Like many casinos, when you gamble, drinks are complimentary. My hubby got free Coors Light while he was gambling. I played the slot machines, which were fun, and I also played Three Card Poker, which was a good time. I really appreciate the atmosphere here. They have tall ceilings and a well thought out layout. Took a quick trip to Laughlin for a family event and decided to switch things up since I usually stay at the Riverside. This place felt a lot smaller than I expected, and getting back to my room was a bit confusing at times. There also weren't many dining options, which was a little disappointing That said, the room itself was the highlight of my stay. It was clean, comfortable, and the bed was great. I had a window with a view of the surroundings and the morning sunshine coming through made it cozy over while the property had some downsides (for me) the room definitely stood out and made the stay enjoyable. read more

We went to Laughlin and stayed at the Tropicana for my husband's 60th birthday. Though the people were very nice, the room was atrocious. It was so disgusting. The chair looked like it had specimens from at least 10 men on it. Everything is out of date and worn out. I paid extra to upgrade thinking it would be a better room and it wasn't. This definitely is our last stay here. If anything will Airbnb in the area, but never again. I would recommend highly not staying at this place. read more

Absolutely horrible hotel, I've been on countless trips and this hotel has been the only one I write a review on. First off the internet is horrendous, the AC is older than George Washington and does not work when it is about 80 degrees in the room and it is 110 degrees outside which shows the AC does not work what so ever. My family found blood on the sheets which shows room service obviously doesn't do their job, we even called the front desk multiple times to try and get towels which they never gave us any so we had to go complain for some. Another reason is that the toilet does not flush at all, and the elevators feel so unstable and even has a 1-2inch opening revealing how far it goes down, you can easily hurt your feet entering. 0-10 hotel I seriously do not recommend to anyone!!!! Don't stay here!! When We made the reservation over the phone we were told we could have a room with a pull out couch. When we checked in we were informed that our room had two beds, pull out couches can't be In rooms with two beds. The person who check us in was very apologetic about the misinformation we had been provided when we made the reservation. She asked my son, who was with me, his name. She asked me for my credit, /debit card and said she'd comp a room for the inconvenience, the charges would fall off in a few days It was just a hold. She gave my son 2 room keys. Naturally we were happy and couldn't believe how nice that was of them to do that. Days later the hold changed to a charge. I called customer service and was told they didn't see any notes indicating a comped room. They put me through the front desk. I spoke to Renee a manager who apologized for the misunderstanding, but there was nothing she can do other than refund $40 for resort fees. I explained to her several times that I did not ask for a room that this was their employee who offered it. She said because we used the room we had to be charged. Of course we used the room. They offered us a free room. What would anyone else do? Why wouldn't I believe the employee at the desk who said the charges would go back? It was just a hold. I had no reason to not believe the employee. Tropicana Laughlin is a place where I will never ever set foot at. I was lied to and charged $360. read more

Check in was easy. Was put in the promenade tower. Lots of elevators and the room was spacious. Carpet was pretty clean no major stains. Bed was a little worn out but worked. Room was clean and the shower pressure was fantastic. Plus the water got really hot!! There was no refrigerator but it had a coffee maker. You have to call and ask for housekeeping to be done daily or they just won't do it. Learned that the hard way by a rude man that answers the phone in the evening. Casino didn't hit but that's pretty typical. They kept the AC on very cold. We ate breakfast every morning and I had read that Cherrie was the best waitress and I have to agree! She was very friendly and efficient. Loved her bubbly attitude! Would I stay there again?? Probably so because our group is using the motel. Oh I almost forgot. The soul band was awesome! We stayed at Tropicana Laughlin for the weekend to watch a local band. The band was great, and the casino itself was clean, which made for a good start. Dining Experience We ate at Brew Brothers. The food was very good, but the service was a major letdown. Even though we had reservations, it took about 20 minutes to get seated. Once we were seated, our server never came by to take our order or even offer refills. We eventually had to call the manager, but even after that, no one checked on us. The food took about an hour to arrive, and while the manager did apologize, the service never improved. Overall, it was a very frustrating dining experience. Room Conditions We specifically asked for one of the "renovated" rooms, but if this was renovated, it must have been 10 years ago. The door looked like it had been kicked in, the bathroom door knob was loose and wobbly, and the toilet seat was also loose. While the main room itself didn't have stains and looked acceptable, the bathroom looked tired and used up. Overall Impression The entertainment and casino were positives, but the dining and hotel room fell way short of expectations. My advice: if you're visiting Laughlin, you may be better off staying at Golden Nugget or Aquarius. read more

Please stay away! I was traveling through for work and the NFL Draft was that night. Completely empty with the exception of Thugs, Motorcycle Gangs, and employees looking to roll you. I am fairly white, and completely fluent in Spanish. While sitting at the bar I overheard a casino employee and the casino bar tender discussing how to rob me! Casino Floor: It had a lot of great machines to play with. I love the neon bingo. Suck the tables start late and end early, even on the weekends. Pool: The pool is nice and big. I had a few problems with it. I believe the security system needs to be stricter. "Adult Pool Hours" are meant for adults, but plenty of teenagers and kids were there. Also, parents hid their kids in the water so they won't be caught. It also sucked that the bar closed at 8 p.m. right on the dot. I have to say, though, that the coconut margaritas were delicious. Elevators: On the day I was there, only four elevators worked, and I waited for around thirty to an hour. We couldn't use the stairwell because it was scorching 140 degrees inside there. I am a seven stars member. On February 22, 2026, and through my Tropicana host, I requested a full suite for June 18-20, for my family and myself. Rooms 1237 and 1239 were connected rooms. Room 1237 which was the largest of the two rooms was having many issues. First, the Air Conditioning unit was not functioning properly and the room would not cool down at all. It was 90 degrees inside. Secondly, the lights were flickering off and on. Thirdly, the water pressure was very low or weak and hardly any water was coming from the shower and faucets. Lastly, the microwave was not working. It would turn on for a few seconds and immediately turn off. I made three calls to the front desk. A worker responded and checked everything and said there was nothing he could do. He stated that there was no electrician available to solve the problem. I even walked down to the front desk and asked if anyone else was available from your maintenance department but to no avail. No one ever responded to help my family and myself. It was Father's Day weekend and to say the least my husband of 40 years, my children, grandson and I were devastated!!! What had been planned four months in advance crumbled to great disappointment in your hotel and the entire Caesar's entertainment family. We went as far as to having to rent a air bnb for our family. Once they were informed of the many problems with our suite, no effort was made by the reception desk to make accommodations for us. I had a great experience here. My check In experience was with Jayden late Thursday was great, as he was kind and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable in the west tower facing the pool/river. Is this a 5 star diamond hotel? No, but pleasantly surprised. House keeping crew on the 23rd floor, very nice and courteous. SHOT OUT TO THE BARTENDERS in the middle casino area. Fun and nice, the only issue i had when i went down to extend my stay, that lady was not very friendly and would not offer me the online price so we paid extra, not that happy. Pool area was clean and bartender there was fun. Jerry pool guy was also great. Security in that area checking to see if we brought in food/drinks was too much. Stayed over Valentine's Day weekend 2026. I will start with the good. The room was clean and the bed was actually comfortable. We got a room with a river view and that was nice to look at. Check in was smooth and easy. The not so good though....no hot water!! We found out it wasn't just us, multiple guests had no hot water for showers. I also noticed on the ceiling what couldd be a leak but as there was no visible dripping, I figured it was fine. I was sad to see Passagio's is a shell of what it used to be. I'm still sad the little pastry place under the stairs is gone. The Brew Brothers restaurant was good with great food. Carnegies was ok and good if you need a quick bite. WORST Caesars Property I've ever stayed at the ice machine doesn't work, no hot water in the shower, from front desk to housekeeping they act like you're inconveniencing their day. Only nice person I've met working here is Jennifer in Carnegie Cafe. Rooms are time capsules of the start of Laughlin the most updated thing in the room is a 2011 white/yellow pages lost safely in one of the drawers. No refrigerators or safes in the room. Some of the racist comments from other guests are unbelievable. This place attracts the ghetto! I highly DO NOT recommend this place. Stay at Harrahs another Caesars property in town. the pool was closed when we got there at 5pm. we wanted to know if there was a chance it would reopen since it's still early and extremely hot outside, 105 degrees, so we asked one worker she replied "oh i don't know." and continued to work. like okay? cool i guess... so then we ask another worker they also just said "im not sure" and just walked away. super rude. then we asked someone else, & at least they walkied someone to ask but then that person on the walkie just said "pools closed" like uh yeah we already know that. but they didn't give any more information after that. so finally the next person we asked finally gave us somewhat of an answer that an "incident" occurred and that it would re open in two hours. however she didn't know when it closed officially so she didn't know the exact time it would reopen. mind you the pool closes at 8pm for minors and 10pm for adults. so if it did close at 5pm when we first checked it would reopen at 7pm but then my other family members who are under 18 would only be able to be in there for 1 hour which sucks. i'm only writing this review not solely because the pool being closed but the lack of communication within the workers and the attitude they got. how does no one seem to know what's going on in their own hotel. also just not trying to find out more information for their guests, they just say they don't know or anything. they can at least try to figure it out rather than simply disregarding us. also maybe it's management that needs to communicate better to their workers in case guests like me ask about something within their workplace. read more

We checked out this hotel and casino on a recent day trip to Laughlin. Most of the hotels in Laughlin are pretty much the same. They're not new, but they're not really old. One good thing about this hotel is that it is a Caesars property, so if you are a member you can get free comp nights. We did not spend the night so I cannot review the rooms, but the casino was decent and they had some new slot machines, or possibly old slot machines lol, that we had not seen in Las Vegas, so that was fun. read more

When we arrived at the casino we had the pleasure to be met by a very nice and friendly man by the name of Bobby guy outside were the valet is at. He greeted us with such a welcoming attitude. Since we have never been here he showed us to the registration desk, waited till we checked in then walked us out and showed us where to park. Let me tell you that his friendly smile and being the sweet man he is just made our day. Then when we get to the front desk we meet Katelynn who was also so friendly and such an amazing personality. I'm afraid of heights and she found a lower 4th floor and she explained things and again her friendliness made us feel good and special. So with that being said I can tell you that both Bobby and Katelynn represents the Tropicana so good that the Tropicana does not have to worry, infact they should consider themselves lucky to have these two representing the Tropicana. Well the rooms are looking dated, furniture is old, carpet needs to be replaced or at least stretched. Pool was closed. Since there is a resort fee and the temp was in the mid 90s the pool would have been nice. No explanation givin. This was on March 26, 2025. Here mid-week for a funeral. While my relative booked the least expensive room , given the hotel is empty you'd think they'd put us up in a decent room. Instead we got a room with a TV smaller than my home computer screen; a view of the parking structure; & a king size bed with 4 standard (not king) pillows. Large classic casino resort on the Laughlin Strip. We came here for the brewery restaurant which was very busy on a Saturday evening. We were lucky enough to get seated at the bar. Gaming had a lot of options and I found my absolute favorite slot machine Better of Ed. It is definitely worth waiting for the cocktail waitress to get a drink. I have to say, this is the first time staying at the tropicana in laughlin, and it's very nice. They have a beautiful pool, They have a poolside café. The water's nice and warm. The machines, the slot machines are quite loose. I won and I lost some. You have to try out the bingo, though, the bingo's really fun, especially the neon bingo. The rooms are very nice. They're very clean. They have some very nice restaurants.They have a little cafe, they have port of subs.That's really good. They have an arcade area for kids, super fun.
