I've always walked through when in Laughlin but didn't stay. I decided to book a room this time and long story summed up into an easy to digest phrase- "i loved it". CHECK IN: Check in was neither good nor bad, a desk attendant who gave off the impression she would rather be in Cancun then at work took her time to check me in. ROOM: Well it's evident the place received a facelift recently. I thought the room was adequate, nicely updated and had a large patio for the views. While it may have not been spectacular, it certainly was clean, updated, comfortable and everything was in good repair. POOL: This property has an Adults only pool as well as Family pool. If you'd like to hang with the older crowd and have no kids splashing you with a cannonball then the Adult pool is ideal. It was a great temperature and relaxing. I love vintage places. I am ecstatic that this property kept its original signage, lighting and vintage décor while also updating the things that made sense. When a vintage property is well taken care of, guests can remember the past but still have the same property to frequent. In Vegas they tend to tear down these vintage gems. I'm happy to see this place thrive.

This review was for a stay during the covid-19 pandemic. We stayed at Don Laughlin's Riverside RV Park for 4 days in November of 2020. We checked online and this seemed to be in a good location. I had never been to Laughlin and thought it would be a fun stop for a few day's. I called and spoke to Marlene to book our visit. The weekly rate was cheaper than a 4 day rate so we booked a week. I double checked with her about procedures since we would be coming in after they closed at 3pm (they're were still on summer hours). We could go in to check-in in the mornings which was nice since we came in after dark. Marlene checked us in the next day. We were somewhat scolded for not signing in the night before-even though, I double checked we didn't need to do it at night. The pull-thru sites are up a hill and each one going in a different way. The problem is the site numbers are on the pedestals on the opposite side of the road so you don't know where your site is from the road you have to drive in on. Luckily, some wonderful camper came out to help us figure it out! The sites are close together but long so you park in front or behind. You can open your door up to see someone else's vehicle. Strange. The next problem is the sites are a couple feet above grade of the road. So, when you leave you go down a large dip and could see scrapes where many RVs hit bottom going out. We took our time and didn't have a problem. The good-location to places in Laughlin. Because of the covid pandemic, we weren't going to casinos or other attractions The bad-things mentioned above. I don't think I would I would go back. It isn't bad if you understand the things that aren't so good.

The Riverside Cafe and The Mexican Restaurant at the casino both are great places to eat. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The only problem I had was that I booked a room with a balcony and river views but the that I was given didn't have a balcony. It ended up being too hot to sit outside on the balcony anyway so that ended up not being too big of a problem. The entire city of Laughlin is beautiful and a great place to visit. I don't have any thoughts about the casino because first of all I don't gamble and plus once you've been to one casino you can judge how the others will be. In my opinion!

Always a great time at Riverside. Machines can be tight. But the rewards are worth the visit. Good food. Entertainment is great.

We stayed here for an April weekend for a country music concert that was in town…read more I made the reservation in December. The price was very reasonable for one of the newly remodeled king suites in the North Tower. I was able to pay half at booking and the other half at check-in. I got an email the morning of check-in allowing me to bypass the regular check-in process and check in online. I was very disappointed when I arrived to the hotel realizing I had to get in a long line and do the check-in process again even though I already did it and put my credit card down online. What is the point of offering early check-in? The second disappointment was the elevator situation. There are six elevators in the north tower. It appears that all of them are working. However, it was always a long line of people to go up and down. We got to our room, which was spacious and nicely decorated. However, it was not very clean. I had to use Clorox wipes and go over all the surfaces which still had unknown substances on them as well as a buildup of dust. For just being renovated, the room is still very dated. It was mostly cosmetic changes not a true renovation. On the plus side of the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and the water pressure in the shopper was fantastic. The biggest issue I had during my stay was the lack of maid service. We called down on Saturday morning to advise that we were leaving for the afternoon and would like some fresh towels and our room serviced. When we got back Saturday evening, the only thing that had been done was some new towels were thrown on the couch. The garbage was not removed. Neither was the old towels, and the bed was not made. When I did the online check-in and specifically asked if I would like the room cleaned while I was there and I checked, yes. While we were here, we tried Guy Fieri's Mexican restaurant. It was fantastic. The service was great. It was probably the best guacamole I have ever had. I highly recommend making a reservation. We had reservations at the range steakhouse the next night. It is a nice restaurant but very dated. There are nice views of the river. The stakes were very overpriced for what we were given. The lobster mac & cheese was pretty terrible. Our waitress was very nice and quick though. Check out was easy since I was actually able to do that online and not have to wait in line again. Parking was easy and free.

Stayed here for Lainey Wilson weekend. Rooms clean but some of the lights on the bed didn't work…read more Bed was hard as a rock I definitely didn't sleep the first night. Only saw one person get a payout the entire weekend. The Mexican restaurant's line was insane, maybe should have been better prepared and open later for concert weekends. The coffee show employees were incredibly slow. Always a long line. Their process is so outdated. The good. : They have a Fatburger, the drinks were cheap, as in 2 slushy drinks with a quick pour of alcohol was $7 We opted for the kids pool as I didn't sleep at the night before I needed a nap. We tried the adult pool there was 1 million people in the pool on the deck alive band. Not what I was looking for so kid pull it was which worked out great. Happy that I had that option. They also serve those tall slushy drinks, which we got virgin one to take to the pool. I believe there was bowling in movies, but I didn't really see that portion of it and I think they have bingo. Oh, they do have a kids arcade so there's lots to do and it was pretty clean for the most part

If you are planning a wedding here read on : My daughter was married at this establishment on June…read more19th, and as the person who paid for the event, I would like to share my feedback regarding our experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with several aspects of the wedding. First, the photographer who was recommended by the venue did not meet our expectations. For a cost of $600, we expected much better quality. The lighting in many of the photos was poor, several special moments were missed, and there were very few photographs taken during the ceremony itself. This was especially disappointing because those moments cannot be recreated. The food was another major concern. While I did not hear many complaints about the Prime Rib, the Chicken Piccata was completely bland, barely warm, and the asparagus was overcooked to the point of being mush. Many of our guests, myself included, left most of the chicken plate untouched. It honestly resembled a microwaved frozen dinner rather than a freshly prepared wedding meal. Considering our reception consisted of only 28 adults and approximately 11 children, there is no reason the food should have been served in that condition. There was also confusion regarding dessert. We were never informed that dessert was included for the adult guests. Had we known, we would not have purchased a three-tier wedding cake. Unfortunately, the cake sat out for several hours, causing the layers to begin collapsing. Staff repeatedly attempted to repair it with additional icing as the topper sank into the top layer. I requested multiple times that the cake be refrigerated, but those requests were never acted upon. Although we did receive a small compensation for this issue, it did not make up for the loss of a significant and expensive part of the reception. The service overall was also disappointing. The only staff member who stood out positively was the waitress handling the bar orders. She was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the evening. In contrast, the rest of the staff appeared disengaged and made us feel as though we were inconveniencing them whenever we needed assistance. Overall, I paid approximately $2,500 for this event, and I do not feel that the quality of the food, service, or overall experience reflected that investment. While the wedding itself was a special day for our family, many aspects of the reception fell well below our expectations. I did voice my concerns with management and I was pretty much told too bad so sad.

The River Lodge shows it age, 42 years (I think). No ice machines on any level, no pool, dated decor, carpet & curtains. With this mind we weren't sure what to expect of our room but it was clean, even though the water in the bathroom sink drained slowly, bedding was very comfy and it was quiet throughout the night. Also, there might be 7 television channels available but we had a great river view. We stuck to eating at the different themed casinos within the Lodge. We went to Red Dragon and tried the pot stickers & pork char siu with rice; sadly no sauces were available & the staff seemed very frustrated not having the necessary supplies. By the way, they will not pour a drink in a paper cup for you in case you want to take it outside for some reason. Still it was cheap with a total of $10.80 for both dishes. We also tried a personal pepperoni pizza at Dotty's, which wasn't bad just not very hot/ warm. I believe that cost was $7.00. The last thing we tried was a pot roast dip sandwich at U1 that included fries & au jus. The flavor was good but the sandwich had no cheese at all; cost $7.00. U1 has great affordable food, slots, staff & atmosphere. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone traveling; it's unique, comfy & affordable with no resort fees

(6 months preggo…read moreand 3 very opinionated teens) When we walked into the lobby it was very clean, of course it smelled like smoke, its a casino for gods sake! Not super overwhelming like others had mentioned. The room and bathroom were surprisingly clean and very roomy! There was no hair left laying around in the bathroom as previously mentioned in other posts. The water pressure in the shower was great, however the shower head was very low. My husband had to squat just to get wet. The toilet was also very low which was a little weird to me. The room came with an iron, ironing board and a blow dryer. Our end table did have an issue with the drawer, it kept opening but it wasn't a deal breaker!! I just so happened to have tape and that did the trick. The temperature knob in our mini fridge was missing so it took us a while to figure out how to make it cooler. The ac kept the room nice and cool but it was very loud, sounded like it was struggling big time. They had a smart TV, we were able to access netflix, amazin prime and another service (i cant remember) The arcade was decent but was prob better for smaller kids. Our kids still enjoyed it. The family pool was beautiful with plenty of sitting areas. It was about 90 something degrees when we went but the water was too cold for me! The kids and my husband had fun on the slides they had. They don't allow outside food or drinks but they had a little bar/snack shack. We did have to pay an additional 15$ for an extra pool wristband. 4 were given for a double bed room. The private beach was very cute but we didn't really spend any time there unfortunately. The ice machine was working and was a short distance from our room. We got panda express pretty late in the day, the food was a little sad but it was expected. We were located in the central tower, maybe all the terrible reviews werw from different areas of the hotel? Who knows. Oh, there only seemed to be luggage carts for those who were parking in valet, that part kinda sucked. The only positive experience we had was with the bell and valet staff. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly fast every time we needed them. They were easily the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was another story. The carpet throughout the room had numerous stains, including what appeared to be a large red stain near the bed. The room felt so dirty that I didn't even want my bare feet touching the floor. We ended up sleeping on top of the blankets because we weren't comfortable enough to sleep in the bedding. The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub barely drained, leaving standing water while showering. The bathroom exhaust fan was caked with dust, there was visible mildew or mold-like staining near the toilet plumbing, chipped paint and cracks around the bathroom door frame, and gaps around the shower fixture where it wasn't properly sealed. The cleanliness throughout the room was disappointing. The TV remote was covered in dust, the furniture had a noticeable layer of dust, there was dirt and debris behind the furniture, and even the ice bucket had visible residue inside. Overall, it felt like the room hadn't received a thorough cleaning in quite some time. For what this resort charges, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. The property has a great location and friendly valet staff, but management really needs to invest more in housekeeping and room upkeep. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

He followed me up to the room with my luggage so that I didn't have to wait for them to deliver which is typical. The room was clean and provided the necessities.
