Enjoyed our stay at the Aquarius Casino Hotel. Check-in was easy, and we stayed in the Arizona Tower. Bell service was quick and super helpful. Housekeeping was outstanding -- whatever we needed, they took care of it immediately. The rooms in that tower are a little dated, but there's plenty of drawer space and a great view of the river, at least in the room we had, which was on the 17th floor along the river. The rooms offer a Keurig-style coffee maker and bottled water which is free. Water pressure in shower was decent. The only downside is there's no in-room safe. The casino floor is loaded with slots, including a lot of modern machines, plus a decent-sized table games area. There are a few restaurants and a small food court. Staff throughout the casino -- including the drink waitresses -- are constantly checking if you need something, which was a nice touch. We primarily ate at the Aquarius Café because it has amazing deals and the food is decent (reminded me of old Vegas deals) Overall eating there was a huge savings compared to the other options. Valet parking is free, which is another nice touch. And like all the casinos along the river, you've got quick access to water taxis to hop over to other casinos. Of all the casinos located on the river, the Aquarius is by far the nicest. Another note if your gambling winning here was not something we accomplished, but we had a great time read more

First off I feel deceived by EXPEDIA they offered a"luxury" rate which I paid for. When I checked in I wasn't given any kind of "luxury" option. There is NOTHING luxury about this hotel. Typical run down Laughlin hotel. Packed with people, lines for the elevator, smelled weed on our floor the whole time we were there, super smokey in the casino, parking in the afternoon to evening is horrendous!! Drove for 30+ minutes each night trying to find a parking spot. Ended up parking across the street with boats and trailers. Valet was closed/full. (Pls refer to photo of valet where there is plenty space for cars to move up. Terrible experience will never stay here again!! read more

I would say over all experience is 3. I've read other reviews and I'd say the same thing. The casino reek's of cigarettes. I think this hotel is one of the better ones here in Laughlin. It needs to remodeled. The pool bar opens May1st . You can take drink from the inside bar to the pool. The cove bar does give great service 5 star They make sophisticated drinks there too. We stayed in a non-smoking room, unfortunately it smelled like cigarette smoke that must've seeped into the walls/carpet. There didn't appear to be adequate air filtration, & smell was very present. The casino itself reeks of smoke. Walking outside along the Riverwalk, we noticed neighboring hotels didn't seem bad. Ironically, all are owned (including this hotel) by the same company. Another downside was the elevators in the California Tower. They were extremely slow, it appeared that 1-2 of the elevators may have been out of service. This caused long waits & you could see the frustration on guests faces, as every elevator ride was always crowded w/long wait. Also worth mentioning: the walls are slightly thin, that we could hear our neighbors' conversations, sneezing (flatulence, etc) on both sides of the room. Blackout curtains don't fully block the windows--as the windows go around the side, the blue neon lights from outside still shine through. On the positive side, hotel does have a beautiful river view. There are plenty of dining options, including some open 24 hours, along w/3 bar lounges, a gift shop that sells various alcohol-besides beer, free parking-valet parking which was very convenient. Also worth mentioning there no resort fees and the beds were comfortable. While the smoke smell & elevator delays were drawbacks, I kept in mind that overall, it does have nice amenities, noted above. read more

I booked a two-day stay at the Aquarius Casino Resort for my husband's birthday. Upon arrival, our initial room had a bad smell, so I reported it to the hotel manager, Michelle. She handled the situation immediately and effortlessly--changing our room right away to ensure we had a fantastic space for the remainder of our stay. From that point on, everything was smooth sailing. The rest of the staff was wonderful, the casino was a lot of fun, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Stayed at Aquarius for 2 days and it was honestly so horrible. The casino non smoking areas were non existent, the rooms were so outdated, stains everywhere and even hand marks on the windows. Also the pool looked like a community pool. We never sleep under the sheets bc my family just doesn't trust hotels (FOR A REASON). But this time we had to bc my sister didn't bring blankets, WE FOUND SOCKS AND OTHER ITEMS UNDER THE SHEETS. WHICH MEANS THEY NEVER CLEANED SHIT. LAUGHLIN's SEMI-MODERN RESORT!! The Aquarius is in the middle of a remodel, much of the casino and resort has been updated and is continuing to modernize. Several of the restaurants, bars, and common areas are crisp and new! Much of the property feels refreshed. The Aquarius has a gift shop, coffee shop (Duet), McDonald's, Subway and several top-notch restaurants. My favorite was the revamped River Rock Pizza. If you're looking for steak or American fare, there's an Outback and Cafe Aquarius. Outside dining tables are available but I'm not sure for which restaurant. The Splash Bar is a fun spot within the resort with a full bar and live music till 2am on select nights. My parents and I visited during their anniversary and there was no pressure to drink. We hit the dance floor and had a great time! Overall, the hotel rooms were solid, they could use a slight touch up but I enjoyed them. The rooms have INCREDIBLE beds, linens, and pillows. I had the best night of sleep while staying here and I didn't want to part from my mattress upon leaving. Housekeeping ensured everything was bright white and clean. The Aquarius asks that guests call housekeeping if they need their beds made or require new towels, this is to conserve water. Remember to tip the Aquarius' incredible hospitality team! The Aquarius is right next to the Colorado River and has sweeping views of the water. You'll find two towers that make up the resort, the California and Arizona towers respectively. I stayed in the Arizona tower and it was quite comfortable. It's near the check-in/concierge desk. Note: Subway is open 24/7 and hotel parking is FREE. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! I would NEVER stay at this property again. Our entire floor smelled like marijuana smoke, the entire property was overly smoky as well. People were rude and staff were not helpful. If you have a problem with your room they tell you to speak to manager but don't have one available. They take your name and number and the manager never calls. I tried to speak to a manager about an issue for 4 days with no reply whatsoever. We were overcharged for our room and apparently are just out of the money because we can't get a hold of a manager. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days. Overall it was a horrible stay. Overbooked, understaffed, poor customer service, smells like mold and the list can go on and on. 3rd floor plumbing is complete trash. They should provide plungers in each room on that floor since so many people needed maintenance. One time maintenance took one hour to arrive. 3rd floor rooms smelt moldy and often smelt of feces coming through the vents. One of the days the 24/7 cafe had to close because they were understaffed (only Mindy and Haley were amazing). The pool shows open 9am-11pm but one of the days the pool didn't even open until 3pm so guests were forced to go to the pool at Edgewater if they wanted a pool. They have cabanas and daybeds which cannot be reserved due to staffing. Weekend valet times were insane (taking 30 minutes to bring the car around). During the 30 min wait, the guy working the window was making snarky remarks when people were not providing tips. Valet even closed mid-day on a Saturday. Overall, the property was run down and was in no way, shape or form family friendly. Nothing for families to do (and rather boring). Poor ventilation and very smokey (especially compared to Edgewater). By far the worst customer service of any hospitality spot. We had better customer service from the gas station attendant. If you are going to charge resort fees, be sure the quality is there to support that. Won't be staying here again. read more

This is my 2nd time. 1st time 4 yrs ago everything was great. I came during March I believe. Then I came during the week and great service. This time we came on a Friday night. Valet was great. But the bellman , restaurant workers and front desk manager needs training. Restaurant are to busy need more help. First night a dog started barking nextdoor. After an hour we called the front desk. They sent security but no one was with the dog. This went on until 3:30am. Barking and they said they had to wait until dogs owner comes back to the room. This hotel does not allow pets. Went down to front desk in the morning on 2 hrs of sleep they said they could do nothing. After arguing it was my 60th birthday celebration they gave $20 for food. The rooms need upgrades and room smelled terrible if you did not run A/C on high. We paid for a upgraded room with river view. That meant out of one corner you could see river. Most of view was roofs and sir conditioning units. We asked to change rooms they refused said no rooms were available. Not staying here again and rooms were over $160 a night. read more

I was offered to upgrade to there new rooms for an additional $$ however I did decline. Large accommodated bathroom in lobby. I prefer non smoking hotels because of the reek, but it is what it is. Loads of slots, tables etc. this particular hotel has a cafe, bar , and restaurant inside. 2 desperate towers. Arizona side seems to have musky halls Fated ice, soda machines, and some tlc in those halls. Rooms dated but not bad. Not immaculate clean but not bad Good size did not seem crammed. They do not have charger outlets , only ones you need a regular plug to. Cafe was good, had a wonderful breakfast special for the month (February) Lunch also had a good special. Pool was not in service during our stay however they made accommodations with the edge water. That pool was kind of gross there. Photos show Aquarius pool much more appealing. Personally I don't like casinos, we cane to see a show. The bus service to the show was great but very unorganized for to load on to the buses to go back. We walked instead. We stayed at the Aquarius Resort & Casino during our stay in Laughlin. My favorite part of this resort is the parking structure. We arrived while it was raining really hard, but the convenience of the parking structure made it easy for us to get to the casino entrance. There are 4 elevators in every floor of the parking structure and there was a 12 ft uncovered walkway between the 1st floor parking structure and casino entrance that we had to run through in the rain which wasn't bad at all. Check-in was fast and easy. The hotel is a bit older but still nice and comfortable enough to enjoy our stay. The 1st floor boasts the largest casino square footage in all of Laughlin, as well as a McDonald's & a Subway that are both open 24 hours. The place was packed, esp since we were there during Valentine's Day weekend. Staff are nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and had a floor to ceiling panoramic window with a stunning view of the strip, desert, and river. I love waking up early in the morning and enjoying that beautiful view through the window. We enjoyed the Riverwalk (a walkway between the back of the hotels and the river's edge), where you can enjoy the view of the river. My only gripe w this hotel is their shower toiletries. The bottles say "squeeze from the sides" but nothing comes out. These were not user friendly shampoo & bodybwash. Laughlin is a very calm, relaxing small town w a very, very chill vibe. If you're looking for the Vegas party vibe w lots of people and crowded streets and lots of traffic everywhere, this place is not for you. Thank you Aquarius Casino Resort for making our visit to Laughlin very special!! It was indeed very, very relaxing!! Absolutely looking forward to coming back here!! I love the gambling area how open and bright it is. I don't feel like I'm sitting in the middle of an ashtray gambling. I wish they had healthier options other than panda express McDonald's, and Subway. The rooms are dated, but completely understandable. What I don't understand is if they're being cleaned why every time I check in my room is filthy. My sheets are clean. Only reason the rating is so low, long waits for the elevators to get up most of the time, drain in the shower was terrible, always standing in dirty water, and the drain in the sink was loud and also slow. Otherwise the property is in a great location, casino is great, everyone we encountered as far as employees were friendly and helpful. Nothing about this place is good. Stayed for one night on business and the casino was clearly understaffed for the opening weekend of March Madness. The bartenders all had attitudes and made comments about how they are too busy to get to us. Oh and DO NOT eat at the Pizza / pasta place unless you want to eat microwaved garbage. It's pretty hard to screw up a pasta dish but this venue mastered the art. None of the food was good. You are in the business of providing a service but it's clearly not a focus point for upper management in this dumpster fire of a hotel. Would not recommend to anyone read more

Guy working the craps table didn't pay me for my bet.. I told him that I was on 6 and 8 and he put my chips on both and didn't pay out the 6 saying I was just on 8? I told him he wasn't doing his job and he basically told me to shut my mouth and that he's happy to be taking my money. A nice casino with a great river view from the northeast side of the property. You can have meals at the tables that overlook the river. Rooms are showing their age but still not bad. They were clean and the bed was comfy. Staff is friendly and did not have any bad experiences while here. Check in is slow, it took my friends about 40 minutes standing in line. Tip: get out of line and go to the self Check-in, It only took me about three minutes to self check. Remember that all rooms have a view of the river. Nice touch. read more

Tried to rent a cabana from 4-8 at 3:30. They said we were too late. All 9 cabanas were free. Nobody rented one. They said nothing they could do, 30 minutes before the timeframe. If I could give this place 0 stars I would !! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here. I presented my valid Tribal ID and was told it would not be accepted. As a Native person, that felt not only dismissive but deeply disrespectful -- especially at a casino. Tribal IDs are legitimate government-issued identification, and being refused without clear explanation was frustrating and embarrassing. The overall environment matched that experience. The staff felt passive-aggressive and unhelpful rather than solution-oriented. Instead of trying to assist or explain policies clearly, the tone was cold and dismissive. The food was also unacceptable. It did not match the price point or expectations for a facility like this. Between the refusal of valid identification, the attitude of the staff, and the poor food quality, I left feeling distressed and unwelcome. BEWARE...... after checking in, one group from our party that was staying down the hall from us found hair and other debris in their shower that had not been cleaned, along with opened, used toiletries. Housekeeping was notified and had to come back to clean their bathroom and replace the toiletries. Also, after checking in, our group (8 total) was attempting to reserve a pool cabana for the following day. We were told to use the QR code, which took us to a website that was frozen. Then we were told we could only make a reservation via email. So, we sent an email to the address listed and received a response leading us to the frozen QR link. We then went down to the pool to see about making the reservation there and were told we had to use the QR code. After explaining the issues we were having, they called the manager for us, and we were told to go see the manager at the front desk and they could help us book the cabana. So, we went to the front desk and were given attitude from the staff about needing their help to book a cabana. After 3-4 hours and the complete runaround, we finally had a confirmation number to the cabana rental. THEN, upon checkout, I attempted to use self-checkout and noticed a charge of $562.00 for a smoking fee added to our room! Nobody that stayed in our room smokes or vapes, nor does anyone in our total party of 8. The hotel manager, Michelle, kept referring me to the "report" of smoke due to their "sensors" peaking between 4:30-6:30pm, and implied that I was lying because that is what the report showed. We weren't even in our room between 5:15-11pm. They basically implied that we were lying because the sensors were showing such high levels (which she kept showing me on the report) even though I was adamant that nobody in our group smokes or vapes. She asked if we lit candles to which I told her we hadn't. The only thing that happened between 4:30-5:15 (while we were in the room) was that we all took showers (in a NON-ventilated bathroom with NO fan) and used the blow dryer that they provide in the room. So after sending security up to the room to check for the smell of smoke, we were refunded the $562 with an apology. And all the sudden we were told that sometimes the sensors "malfunction" and that they'd be contacting the company to have it checked out. So 20 minutes prior, your "highly sensitive sensors" accurately detected smoking and vaping and we were lying, to now being told that the sensors "sometimes malfunction". Their smoking sensor system is obviously a complete joke. And side note, while we were waiting for them to check our room for the smell of smoke, a quick google search showed that multiple people have been SCAMMED out of $562 because they were also charged the "smoking fee" and were unsuccessful in having it refunded, even though nobody in their group smoked. This appears to be a KNOWN issue with this hotel. On a positive note-the housekeeping lady, with the very long silver hair, was super friendly and provided us with amazing service and deserves recognition. However, can't same the same about the rest of the staff or the resort. read more

It is currently 1:30am and I cannot sleep because the smell of cigarettes is so unbearable. The ventilation system here is a disgrace. I was in a deep sleep and now I cannot sleep anymore because someone is smoking their cigarette and it fills up everybody else's rooms. Maybe it is the person next to me? Who knows. This hotel needs to figure out the disgusting smoking situation because this is disgraceful. Update: I am on floor 16. Apparently the smoking floors are 14 and 15. Horrible. The food at one of the restaurants has horrible service. Workers behave as though they hate bring there. They barely smile. The food takes 30 to 40 minutes to get to your table. Toast...you could bounce it off the wall. I dont recommend anyone go there. But - you'll find out for your self. Rate is no stars whatsoever but ill give one because its forcing one. I enjoy Laughlin but I don't look forward to the room situation. Beds at the Aquarius, especially the Arizona side is like sleeping on a wood board. Terrible! I will also never understand why smoking is allowed throughout the casino. I'm upping my chances of getting lung cancer each time I visit. With that if I had to pick a hotel this is about it. I will say that the dealers are mostly all A+ and the strength of the place and the hostess. Bartenders and a 3 star for the most part.
