I came here willingly after hearing the shop was owned by my good friend's godfather. At first, the service seemed great and I had no concerns. I chose not to take a total loss because my car was still drivable, so I went to pick it up. When I arrived, the front desk lady told me my car was ready and would be brought out. A few moments later, a male worker came out and told me my bumpers and lights were already off and asked me what I wanted to do with them. I was confused and told him I was not aware my car had already been torn apart. He went back inside, then came back out and told me to return in about an hour so he could put the car back together. At that point, the front desk lady who originally told me my car was ready apologized and said, "Oh my God, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize everything was off. Come back in about an hour and we'll have your car ready." That was all that was said. There was absolutely no mention of any fee. Later that day, I received a call saying my car was ready, but now there was suddenly a $150 reassembly fee that had never been mentioned. When I raised concerns, the lady on the phone clearly had an attitude and seemed annoyed that I was questioning it. Instead of explaining or taking accountability, she immediately offered the option of tearing my car back down and having me arrange my own tow truck since the car "wouldn't be drivable," which made no sense because the car was already put back together. After hearing I was upset, she offered $20 off for the so-called "miscommunication." When I arrived to pick up the car, the front desk lady immediately apologized and admitted she "forgot to tell me there was a fee." How you forget to mention a $150 charge is beyond me. I was then told to bring this issue to my insurance. I contacted them, and the insurance representative confirmed this was the shop's fault and did his best to help. He also mentioned the shop claimed I was given the option to take the car as-is or have it put back together, which is simply not true. If I had known my car was already torn apart, I would never have agreed to take it back. A $150 surprise fee for a single mother right around the holidays is absolutely insane. The lack of communication and training should not fall on the customer. Customers shouldn't be paying for the shop's incompetence, and the receptionist shouldn't even be working if important fees are going to go over their head. My Mom's car was side swiped on the front bumper area and the panel had popped out! The estimate guy came out and was trying to get it back in but he couldn't so he had one of his repair man come out and with a little manipulation he popped it back into place and then they sprayed a compound on the area and got rid of all the smudges caused by the accident! It looked as good as new when they were done and they charged me $0.00! I couldn't believe it! They must've spent 20 minutes on it! Needless to say I was very grateful! read more

After getting quotes from multiple body shops in town, I decided to give Riverside Collision a try, and they didn't let me down. Not only they have competitive quotes compare to other body shops, the level of service you will experience is second to none. Had a good experience working with Kerry throughout the process. He shows professionalism and take good care of his clients from start to finish. My car had some paint damage from removing the cracked factory racing strip, they did an outstanding job repainting my hood and rear spoiler. They also work with a local PDR, who helped me remove the ding and dents on the door panels. While the wait time is quite long from estimate to drop off to pick up, but it's all worth it. Riverside was beyond amazing for me! There was a GM strike that pushed my repairs back but I was communicated that early on. Johanna (I hope I spelled it right) was there with me every step of the way from estimate, scheduling, calling the insurance company, helping with the rental cars, and being so helpful. The repairs are PERFECT!! They detailed my car as well so I got a like new car back when I picked it up. They even found my favorite chapstick and left it in my cup holder! Had my car repaired here. A very simple replacement of my front grill turned into a front nose piece and grill. The nose piece was not prepped properly before painting. This missed step caused the paint to begin peeling off in large pieces with each carwash. My insurance company said I was entitled to a new paint job on the nose. I would not let these lazy clowns touch my car again. They took ten days and couldn't get it right. I paid out of pocket for a new paint job on the nose at a different shop. Steer clear! read more

Missed a part and caused the tire sensor to turn on. They had me going all over the place to try to figure out the cause, even the Rover service department in Spokane. What I emailed them with the results and asked for them to cover the expense for going to Spokane they said no even though it was their fault. They didn't even want to cover the missing part they told me to call my auto insurance.They acted very nice just to get the job but, then very bad customer service. Will never use again. read more

I called RC today to ask for a simple ballpark estimate ($200-$400? $400-$600? Just some remote idea) to have my bumper repainted IF I brought the bumper to them. I was told, "We don't do ballpark estimates, you'll need to bring your car in for us to give you an estimate." Okay, can I get an appointment for an estimate? "We don't do estimates by appointment." Okay, what time do you close? "We stop doing estimates at 4:30 p.m." Okay, I'll be there. So, I took an hour off of work (-$50 in wages) so I could be there by 4:30. I arrived at 4:10 p.m., whereupon I was told that they could not look at my car until 5:00 p.m. "Can you wait 50 minutes?" Ummm, I thought you quit doing estimates at 4:30? No, I won't wait 50 minutes just to have a guy look at my bumper and give me what they could have given me over the phone. Absolute B.S. I've always taken our cars to RC for collision service. But I won't again, not after this. They take care of you so long as it's convenient for them. As far as I'm concerned, they owe me $50.00 in lost wages. read more

So considering when a citizens whether customer or not comes in to your establishment and trying to make a complaint on an employee you should hear them out instead of screaming very explicit lyrics at them... Today as I was leaving stop at a stop sign going to take a left pulled out into moving traffic a blue van that was being drove by Riverside Collision employee sped up if I would not have hit the gas he would have barreled into me so I very calm, put it in reverse when pulled right up to their front door and went in to make a complaint and was met with a rash of F words screen. To get out of their shop regardless who was in the right or who was in the wrong you probably shouldn't join up in with all of your employees screaming at number one a female upset shaken I felt so threatened and intimidated by trying to make just a simple complaint maybe they need more Collision services done if their employees don't even slow for a car that's in front of them if I wouldn't have seen that van I would have absolutely been T-boned by him thank God I was smart enough to have a voice recording hit when I went into the Riverside Collision and got most of their verbal slew of f-bombs screaming at the top of their lungs at me I will never recommend these people the unprofessional way I was dealt with weather in the wrong or not was uncalled for I felt threatened and unsafe standing inside of their establishment they definitely lost customers over this there's plenty of other auto body shops if I ever was to need one anyways. read more

Wow! Was very impressed with their level of customer service. I had received a free quote for work on my car a few months back. However, decided to hold off on it as my car is quite old. The quote was reasonable and what I would expect for a passenger door dent (essentially it needed a replaced door and paint to match). Now, I was back again and this time trying to fix a dent in my Trailblazer so we could sell it. They gave me a quote for labor only as I didn't need the door painted (small job) and it was fixed within a day even though they are booked up for 3 weeks. They were able to fit it in between other larger jobs. When I picked it up I was thoroughly impressed with the quick service and they cleaned the inside and outside of the vehicle. It had needed some TLC like that so we really appreciated it and wanted to share the good news on Yelp. enjoy! A couple tips: If you just drop in, their adjuster takes a lunch break around 12-1p so you may want to call ahead to make sure you can wait to get a quote. If you can drop off your vehicle, they do have 'runners' that can give you a ride locally if needed. read more

Not only was the top of the truck fixed like it was new, but they detailed and made sure it was spotless when I came to pick it up. I had my reservation bringing my van there after a collision. The shop was pretty much unknown. But my insurance Ameriprise assured me that they had had many customers bring their cars there. Now I am glad I had faith. The people at Riverside Collision were kind and courteous. The service was prompt (we got the appointment for estimate right away; and our van was fixed up within 4 days instead of 10 days as planned). And the car was like new afterwards. Dissapointed in the job they did repairing my bummer. When I picked it up there was a dimple in the paint where they reworked and they said it was fine. Also there was a new ding in the door when I came back to pick it up and I was told the owner would call me and after 3 weeks I still have not received a call back after leaving messages.
