An outdoorsy camping lodge feel with access to all the local amenities like Red Lobster, Vooodoo…read moreDonuts and Ross Dept store. This lodge has it all. Comfy beds, spacious gorgeous river rock/slate type showers, well stocked keurig coffee machine, flat screen tv and very spacious room with king size bed. Easy check in at front desk. There's also complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate the front staff make by request. This is a very large gorgeous lodge with built in logs and granite/volcanic rocks throughout their property. You feel like you're in the middle of the woods in a log cabin, but you're not (lol). One of the best features is the serenade of birds over the speakers throughout the day. Tranquility is the word that comes to mind when you stay here. There was a very large group of homeschoolers for some type of retreat but they were all very well mannered and not rowdy at all in comparison to other experiences we have had with large kid groups staying in the same hotel as us. Would've been nice if there were more healthy options in their small store and the prices were hefty. We saw the prices and did not purchase. Absolutely appreciated the free water station. Overall this was a very nice comfy stay for us. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all. The price of the rooms were super comparable and worth the cost.

Staff was apologetic and said they would switch our room if they could. They said they'd message the manager and now three nights later no manager even called to apologize. And someone came and cleaned and disposed of the undies- to me that's not good enough. The room still feels dirty. Old painted wall paper peeling off the walls, mold in shower ceiling, sticky bathroom floors (I wore shoes the whole time). Sticky feeling carpet. It's our last night here and I can't wait to leave. Surprisingly the bed seems very clean and not the most uncomfortable. I will never let anyone else ever book the hotel I'm staying in. I'm tired and don't know what else to say. Ugggh.

We were greeted nicely when we arrived, however our room was not ready for check in. Apparently they were having a bit of remodeling going on in the hotel. Once we got our room a quick look around certainly made the place look tired and neglected. Clearly ours was a room that had not been renovated yet. Tears in the curtains, dings on just about every wall in the room, a pretty dirty looking sofa and small holes in the walls in the bathroom. Look at the photos. The bed was ok, and the pillows were decent. I'd say the best part of this Homewood Suites is the location. Only a few blocks away you can walk for miles along the river with great views of Portland. I'd definitely consider staying elsewhere, however with the remodeling it may be better than when we stayed.

There are two Homewood Suites in Washington State that are our "go to" places for a weekend away…read more One is the Homewood Suites in Richland. The other is this particular property. The property was going through a full remodel the last time we stayed. Our room had not been one of the remodeled rooms, having a fireplace, a dining table, and seating that was comfortable. A member of the team who dined with us was easily accommodated at the table. When we arrived we were a bit disappointed. We were scheduled for a 4:00 PM arrival and check in. We stopped for dinner first, arriving at about 5:00 PM and our room was not ready. We went back to our car and waited until about 5:25 when we were notified our room was ready. We were expecting the same comfortable feeling as our last visit. The room was now very modern, almost cold feeling. Don't get me wrong, the room was comfortable except a high back chair was no longer in the room, a modern "L" shaped sofa bed with a low back was in the living room. The room lacked any of the character we have come to expect. I commented to staff whom I met on our last stay, and they privately agreed. There was no longer a table in the suite. Instead there was a "waterfall" bar height "table." The suite was as shown in the photos with the fireplace having been removed during the remodel. The breakfast buffet was above average with different offerings every morning to go along with the eggs. The breakfast area still had the lodge feeling that we have come to expect. It was clean and very comfortable. Coffee was strong and hot, so I was happy. The property was well maintained, except the garbage outside of our room was not emptied in the four days/three nights we were there. The room did not meet our expectations as they were based on our last stay. Things change, I understand that. Had the room been ready on time and the garbage been emptied from immediately outside of our room this would have been a much better review.

The staff at this location were all very courteous, and welcoming. This is one of the first Hilton locations I've visited that makes sure HH members are acknowledged in a memorable way, there was a spin the wheel for HH member's offering a chance to win additional points and/or free parking (I won free parking, very much appreciated!) The room was spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable, and modernized. The onsite parking was very well secured no matter how late your arrival could be the staff go over and beyond to ensure guests and staff enter the garage. The onsite restaurant Gray's offered a good mix of breakfast items for all dietary preferences. The conference rooms are spacious, and sound proof as there were meetings being held in the rooms next to ours and there were no disturbances. This Hilton location rates high for excellent customer service, cleanliness, and hospitality. I quickly suggested all of our team meetings be held here, and will add to my list if I ever need a place to stay with my family; I highly recommend!

If your flight gets hit with a ground stop, the hotel's position is essentially that you're already checked in -- even if you're several states away with no physical way to arrive. When I explained the situation, the conversation quickly turned into me asking to simply be checked out and accept a one-night penalty. I was more than willing to cover that, but I wasn't willing to pay for the entire stay when travel disruptions were completely out of my control. What was most disappointing was the lack of flexibility or guidance. No alternatives were offered, and there didn't seem to be much concern for the realities of air travel. For a property that presumably serves many business travelers, the response felt far from traveler-friendly. Based on this experience, I won't be booking this location again and would recommend choosing a property that better understands the unpredictability of airline travel.

Very attentive check in and valet service. Room is very clean, if somewhat minimalist. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom is very modern and high spec. Staff are very upbeat and friendly. Low points: While the hotel is quiet (at least on a Monday), this is a very very noisy location. It's in a major airport flight path, with frequent flyovers. Street traffic is noisy, even on the eighth floor. There's a busy railroad line nearby. It sounds like we're in a factory. Room is very minimal. I was counting on a fridge for my medication, no such luck. No table or chairs to sit at. Lots of expensive add on charges. Valet parking is $65. There are unadvertised service fees. I'm unlikely to get out of here for under $450/night. I was certain that I'd booked a river view room, but we're on the other side of the hotel, so an excellent view of the roof of the nearby apartment building. Even the air conditioning is very loud, even on its lowest setting.

It was about 15 minutes from the fields, which were located on the east side of town. The room was spacious. The pool area was nice and something that the kids very much enjoyed. They had a good workout room, and the breakfast in the morning was quite nice. Folks at the front desk were very helpful and made the check-in and checkout experience very easy. All in all, there wasn't much else that they could've done to make this better. It's a nice property in a nice area, and they were very responsive to all of our needs. Well done!

Though Residence Inn's are for long term stays, we like staying one night because the rooms are bigger and have a full kitchen. Check in was different both times. On my first visit, the front desk clerk didn't say much. They did their job. No small talk. During the second visit, the front desk clerk was more talkative, and did his job. Both times we were given a nice room. The rooms here are your normal Residence Inn rooms with kitchen, bedroom and a living area. Bathroom is standard with shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion from North 39 degrees. The bed was comfortable enough to give me a good nights sleep to drive 400 miles the next day. The gym is adequate with treadmills, ellipticals and weights. It was enough to give me a good workout. It's a good hotel. For some reason, my wife likes it. We probably will be back.

We switched rooms that room also smelled like slight paint fumes and when you open the window it did have a screen, but you could see and smell dust and they had tools everywhere outside the window and we were there while we were doing some remodeling in our basement so we left our house to get away from the dust and the paint fumes. We got two rooms. They were both the same and a complete nightmare. Dirty, no toilet paper, shower door wouldn't close all the way so water spraying everywhere, the smell in the building was bad. When we booked we paid for the breakfast and when they check you in for the breakfast, they ask your room number. She said it wasn't paid and that they would be charging us $14 and we said no we paid for it and she didn't believe us. She treated us very rudely. Then the breakfast was cold and I still don't know if they're gonna charge us as we just left there so we paid for two nights two different rooms and everything from paint fumes and loud noises and drilling at 9 AM on a Sunday morning to people screaming and arguing in the hallways at 4:10 AM, and then no necessities available like toilet paper in the room towels. When we went and asked for towels they had the guy from outside that was smoking, go in and grab them and hand them to us. He did not wash his hands or anything. It was just the worst place we have been. We usually stay at the Marriott, but they were full as we needed two room rooms for the family while the basement was being aired out. When you stay somewhere that says Hilton, you expect a lot more. This was more of a motel six experience not what we paid for. I would highly recommend finding a different hotel to go to. Really really bad. They say that they give you cookies we were never offered any warm cookies like they advertise. They have two bottles of water in the room which they charge you for. The refrigerator didn't keep our items cold, which we ordered stuff to put in there for the two days, we were all there, there was nowhere to park. They're doing renovations, but they should really close off the rooms on the floors that they're doing because there is dust and smells everywhere from chemicals and it has made me sick. If you look at some of the reviews from a year ago, they showed all the remodeling that was being done and there is nothing different a year from a year ago. It's absolutely amazing that this is a Hilton hotel.
