I've been driving past this place by the Riverside Plaza for decades and always like how cool the…read morebuilding looked. I had a strange shaking in my front end, and thought it was my brakes . I was at the Greek place on Merrill, and when I was in the drive-through, I saw the suspension place across the street, so I thought I'd step in for some quick questions. Everybody was super cool, and even though they were busy, the guy mentioned they'ld do a free front end diagnosis to determine my brake condition. He said sometimes that means you do need new rotors. They were pretty busy, but I only had to wait about 15 minutes until they got a bay open. Turns out it wasn't my brakes at all, I had a bad strut on one side. During the evaluation, they mentioned they are also specialists in Lexus rear airbag suspension. Luckily, my rear suspension was fine and I only had that single bad strut. I decided to get both taken care of as well as the alignment for the front and rear. They also gave me a 10% discount on the alignment work because I had a major repair. I took an Uber home, because they said they might not have the job completed the same day. But they got parts delivered early, and my car was done before 5:00. Excellent work, and I didn't feel like they were trying to misrepresent any aspect of the job. As a matter of fact, I asked about any more things I needed done, and they said I was pretty much solid. Excellent shop.

Now it pulls like it should, holds gear on grades, and sits at the right RPM on the freeway. Clean install, dialed setup, quiet diffs. What really sold me came after. My rear diff breather clogged and blew the seals. That wasn't on them, but they fixed it and gave me a break on the cost anyway. They stood by their work and took care of me. That's rare. If you're running bigger tires and wondering why your rig feels slow, this is the fix. These guys know FJs and they treat you right. Highly recommend.

So I had to tow the car back to my place and take off for 3 weeks and come back. So pretty much my car was stuck at my apartment's parking lot. When I came back, I called places but they said I would need to tow the car and do a diagnostic test and then they can tell me what's up. I just came back from my trip and I was still recovering from Jetlag so I decided to try mobile service and I found Raul on yelp and oh boy, did he come fast to the rescue! Don't be fool by the cover people, Raul is polite and respectful and I am glad that I was able to get help from him. So he looked at the under hood and said it was an alternator problem. So we bought the alternator from local AutoZone and he was able to replaced it like within 2 second. lol... Also, the cool part was, he bought his home boy aka his cousin or nephew (sorry it's been awhile) and was teaching him.. man I wish I had a cousin like Raul. Anyway, after 8 months, car is running like a new, so far so good with no big issue. But lately, being hot summer in Riverside, I do notice when I try to break with AC on full blast or when I try to turn the wheel while engine is in idle mode, car starts to shake which was not there before. So I'm off to texting Raul to see if he can help again. Btw, he also reached out, like a follow-up after all these times to see how my car was doing... seriously? Who does that!!!! Gracias Raul!
