We were referred to your clinic by a friend after our previous vet retired. We've only had our dog a few years, but we've spent thousands on surgeries for her, and have not been successful in finding a new vet. Dr. Cate helped with our rescue puppy who ate two bouncy balls. Only one showed up on the X-ray and they went in and removed it. She didn't bounce back and Dr. Cate said he wanted to go back in as he had a feeling something else was blocking her. He found the second ball and removed it. If I had that done here in mid-cities where I live it would of cost more then double. Not only did he figure out what was wrong with our puppy he didn't charge me an arm and a leg to save her. I have used this veterinarian for several years now. I first took him my retired greyhounds and he treated them into their elder years and through both of their passings. He is compassionate and thorough and goes above and beyond to care for my pets. He also sees my elderly 14 year old cat and got her through a spell of diabetes. I took my newest kitty there today due to a venomous snake bite to the face and he has a new partner (Dr. Lawther ) and she was also phenomenal. She will hopefully rebound after receiving treatment. They were so sweet to my dog (who is a rescue and doesn't trust a lot of people) and didn't push her to do things she was too scared to do and were so sweet to her. Dr. Ryan Cate and the staff at Riverstone Veterinary Hospital go above and beyond to care for all my animals. He is the first one I call when any of my animals need treated or wellness checkups. He has treated my retired racing greyhound when she fractured her toe, my DUCK -- Yes, I said DUCK, when he was attacked by a stray dog. I've had to call his emergency line after hours and he called me back himself to talk to me about my dog who had gashed open his tail on a sharp object.
