That gesture meant everything to me. Our 3 sons go there. And they needed a lot of work! He was great with each one of them and their respective 'issues' and 'challenges; (1) 23 year old son on the Spectrum, (2) 20 year old son, and (3) 11 year old son. So he was able to handle each son. I came to Dr. Chang needing a new night guard/retainer. He made a night guard for my top teeth but hadn't planned on doing anything for the bottom. RED FLAG! Common knowledge that you need to wear a retainer for the rest of your life. He finally made me a partial retainer for my bottom teeth - so it covered my front 10 teeth. That was about 3 years ago. We moved and have been looking for a good dentist for the last 2 years. A few weeks ago - I found out that my bite is TOTALLY off because I didn't have the appropriate retainer. I now have to have Invisaligns AGAIN to correct my bite that was PERFECT before Dr. Change touched them. Also, my husband has some back issues and needs to have his teeth cleaned sitting up. But experience with Alpine Dental Office was so frustrating that I feel compelled to warn others. From start to finish, their customer service was absolutely abysmal. I went in for a crown repair, but because my underlying tooth had a crack, they were unable to help me so just charged me for a bunch of x-rays and sent me to someone else. Subsequently, my girlfriend made the mistake of going to them for a routine cleaning, expecting a straightforward visit. Instead, they insisted she needed x-rays, the doctor actually asking her, "How'd you get an appointment? We don't see patients without films". This left her feeling pressured unnecessarily and feeling as though she was being pushed into extra procedures just to pad their bills. This aggressive upselling was not only annoying but makes me seriously question their integrity. As if this all wasn't bad enough, I had a residual balance of $15.00 that instead of cashing me out while I was there, they keep sending me bills for. I don't like providing my banking info through the mail so I have been trying to reach them by phone, which despite numerous attempts, no one ever answers. I have left a message to call me so I can take care of it, but no one ever returns my calls. I wonder how they will like 1,500 pennies when I deliver it in cash! The overall attitude from the staff was cold and unprofessional. It felt like they had no interest in providing good patient care, only in rushing through appointments and maximizing profits. We both left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and convinced we should find a dental office that actually values its patients.
