However, after waiting five weeks past the original estimate, my car was returned with a crooked door, scratched tail lights, and a sloppy paint job that started chipping just a few weeks after they painted it. They did take the car back, but again kept it longer than they estimated. They fixed the door for the most part and repainted the areas that had chipped, but there are obvious tape lines and the finish has an orange-peel texture.

My car went in on an insurance accident claim they charged over $3500 and left the the damage to my wheels,jackshaft,etc. not fixed ....they rigged my rims to where it appeared fixed and completely switched everything around to hide it.... accident was on left front tire and they somehow spray painted my brake on right side ...... had to have another shop fix everything all over again due to their rigged up mess..... DO NOT GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO HANDLE YOUR CAR THE SAME WAY !!!! I told him my issue and he immediately went to car inspected door frame and a quick pull on car frame near door and resolved it. Opened door several times to check for sound, no issue at all. went for inspection on 96 pickup.asked to use their phone,my cell phone was dead,she did not offer…read moreuse of the business phone.tried my phone again but no good.again asked her if i could use their phone,again no offer.had to drive back home to get my wife to pick me up.my wife took me back to eddies to pick up my truck.charged me 57.50 to put in a 99 cent bulb(2 screws).she also said there was a bad backup bulb but one of the mounting screws was stripped.if their shop is not talented enough to know how to remove a bad bolt,screw,or nut then maybe they are not qualified to work on any automotive problem.by the way,when i got home i showed my wife how to put a 1/8 drill bit in a cordless drill and in less than 15 seconds the stripped screw problem was solved.not much effort or basic common sense to figure that one out.i have spent thousands doing business with eddies over the past 20 years and have been a loyal customer and they always did quality work at a reasonable price.too bad things have gone sour. chuck bannister(middlesex county habitat for humanity volunteer plumber)
