On my most recent visit, we were on the lake and decided to pull up to the dock and walk across the street to visit with friends who were at the bar. There is no signage on the lake so I guess you just have to know where to go. A quick walk up the hill and across the street and you find yourself in a little slice of Wisconsin complete with an outdoor volleyball court and I think they were playing cornhole on the day I was there. Drinks are well poured and the beer is cold and flowing. What else do you need in Summer in WI?

The draught was a good solid pour. The service is nice and quick. The Kilkenny cream ale is also a good pour. The chocolate mascarpone cheesecake has a chocolate crumb crust, it's a nice light chocolate mouse like pie, its a bit sweet for me, but fine for a restaurant grade bulk dessert. It's a nice place, lots of room to move, good for large and small groups. I'll keep this on my short list for when I'm in the area again.

She never apologized, wouldn't make eye contact the rest of the evening, and simply went back behind the bar as if nothing had happened. I understand that employees need to use the restroom too, but pounding on the door and speaking to a customer that way is completely unprofessional. A simple, "I'm so sorry to rush you, but I really need to use the restroom," would have been understandable. Instead, I was treated with disrespect over what was literally a short bathroom visit. Unfortunately, that interaction left a much stronger impression than anything else about our visit. I won't be going back to this bar again, nor will my friends. If they treat their patrons this way, it's not a place where I want to spend my money.

You come here to socialize, with a great selection of beers and food trucks and it is outside! That's the best part for us WI natives. Plenty of local and national micro beers for those beer snobs. The fun is what you make it. We need more places like these! Love it...
