Weekend visit to WI and came across this gem. We all shared burgers (Monday BOGO Half off) and they were delish. There are multiple sides offered and the potato salad was our favorite. We accompanied the meal with their giant pretzel with three amazing sauces and the delish cheese curds because when in WI The staff was very kind and friendly and attentive to our needs during the visit. The 1/2# burgers are amazing. We split a mushroom Swiss burger and each got a side salad . Side salads were fresh and just a typical side salad. The burger though, man alive it was tasty. If we would have e got our own we would have eaten them all which we didn't need to do. lol. The bar itself is super clean and very nice. The service was good and more and more people kept filing in that appeared to be regulars. Very nice open space on the inside, and judging by the outside it's not as dingy as it seems. Decided to go for my traditional Gin & Tonic, which was executed to perfection. The menu is vast with options from their famous burgers to pizzas to Wisconsin's typical Friday Fish fry. They also have daily specials depending on the day of the week. This seriously was one of the worst fish fry's we have ever had. Tons of grease on the fish and fries. The fish was worse than buying frozen fish sticks from the grocery store. All breading. The fries were over deep fried so they were too crispy with no taste. The only positive was the server was nice and attentive. I would never go here again for a fish fry. read more

Well, we we're driving through nowhere WI and yelping told me this place was better than McDonald's. Victory! The pizza was unique and very flavorful. Well seasoned sauce and a light crispy crust. The fresh fried curds were among the best I've tasted. The wings. Wow the wings. The wet sauces are all notable and delicious. The wings themselves were fresh and large. Stopped by this place for dinner on a Wednesday. It was dark out. If I didn't have my gps, I would have drove right by the place. Stepped in and was surprised how bright and inviting it was inside. Typical Wisconsin bar. Service wasn't what I'd call fast. I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't really matter. It was steak night and numerous steaks were going out. I wasn't in the mood for a steak so I went with the wings. I went with their hottest ones because I like hot wings. They were good. Not too hot, but a good level of hotness. We were staying in town to attend the Sheep and fiber show at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds and found this awesome bar and grill in Watertown. It is small and off the main beat. We were welcomed by Josh the bartender and grill master. Not only were the burgers awesome and the beer was cold but it was a very friendly local establishment.
