    Pickle pizza
    Stephanie V.

They had a good variety of food. The pickle pizza was a nice surprise to see as a special on the menu for the day. As a big fan of pickles, it could have used more, but it was still good. Nice, relaxing environment. The staff were really nice.

Pizza and beer, what more can one ask for?

Whenever we visit Salem, my husband and I always make it a point to take the commuter rail out to Newburyport to visit RiverWalk. We usually sit outside in the beer garden and relax with some brews. Our favorites are the IPAs, RiverWalk has some really tasty ones. The day they started having pizza on the menu was monumental because the pies are really delicious! We aren't big eaters but the two of us devour the whole pie because it is so good! I always find the staff very pleasant and helpful. I really love RiverWalk, I wish I was there right now!

First time coming here and it was so nice! We sat outside as I had my dog with me. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I have the sour and it was amazing. We also ordered the wings and a Crunchwrap both amazing. I LOVED the wing sauce Can't wait to come back here.

Nice hidden gem in the back of a industrial park. I read many of the reviews and I agree, the waitstaff could be friendlier, but that shouldn't effect the beer and seltzers. We tried three or four different brews and were pleased with the taste and presentation. The seltzers were really good as well, surprisingly, since they are usually an afterthought at a brewery. The cost was reasonable, given it's a touristy spot.

A nice big beer hall to enjoy!

Always a great beer selection along with alternatives and a bunch nice apps, pizza and sandwiches to munch on. Big outdoor seating area right along the Clipper City Rail Trail with lots of room for the kids and plenty of parking, too. Head for the wind mill and you're there!

Pizzas looked fantastic, but I didn't get one. Tried 4 different beers on tap. All had great flavor, personal favorite was Tangerine Skies. The Food Menu was impressive for a small brewery; Sweet & Spicy Snack Mix was a bold mix (included wasabi peas, sweet peanuts, and more!) to complement your drinks and is a great tag along if you're looking for a small snack. Atmosphere was nice, lights gave a good vibe and facilities were very well kept. Would recommend. Simply, Simpkins

The experimental cheese pizza. They are not offering this yet, but they're experimenting on it. It was good!

During the COVID-19 stay at home advisory, I was so hard pressed to go out to a restaurant/brewery/bar, that the moment the governor introduced phase 2 of the opening, I made a reservation to go and enjoy a beer and a simple meal at this brewery I've long wanted to go to. We had to make a reservation beforehand, and we did. When we went there, we were pointed to the outside area. We were given a paper menu. I ordered the purple label and my partner ordered the flagship Riverwalk IPA. We also ordered a pretzel. The Riverwalk IPA was fine, but the purple label was really delicious. I'm not that much into dark beers, but this one was amazing, with a note of blackberry and dark roast coffee. After the purple label, I ordered the brown label. This one was also good and did have a strong star anise flavor to it, though I couldn't taste the almond flavor. When we were sitting and enjoying the beer, the server brought us an experimental pizza the restaurant was trying out. It was a 4 cheese blend, and it was good. I'd recommend them to sell the pizza. It was thin in crust and rich in flavor. The pretzel was also good, though not out of the ordinary. My rating reverts to the normal rubric with the Corona advisory coming to an end. 50% for food/drinks, 30% for service and 20% for everything else. I rate 5 to everything, so an overall rating of 5.0. Pro-tip: I'd definitely recommend this place after a nice walk by the river and a beer after. Definitely give the purple label a try, you don't find that many blackberry porters.

Riverwalk brewing company is the Star of the north shore. Unlike many other breweries who are in it for the money--this company is in it for the pure love of beer! The flavors are unique and crafted by hand and by heart. It's a small space so I wouldn't recommend going here to drink and hang out, but even better I would suggest taking your beer home and enjoying it in the beautiful surrounding that Newburyport provides! Check their facebook or give them a call for hours as they tend to vary, and if you're in the area it's a must try--If they are closed and you still want to try (because you really should) stop by a local restaurant like The Grog or The Deck and grab a glass on draft!

Staff is rude. Beer is average. Couldn't try food since they ran out of chicken and that made up 90% of the menu.

Visited on 7/19/26 with my wife and dog. Drove up from Rhode Island after seeing the menu,…read moreavailable beers, and learning they were dog friendly. We arrived and sat at a picnic table with an umbrella so our pup could be in the shade. We were having a great time, so excited to be there and amped to try their current taps. Just as our apps were being brought out, a gust of wind lifted the umbrella clear out of the table, spilling my wife's drink and sending the heavy metal umbrella pole directly into my face and chest HARD. My wife, the server, and I were all stunned for a moment. Wife thought I was bleeding until we realized it was rust on my face and chest from the pole. Server asked if I was okay, clearly feeling a little awkward, and with my hand to my face I said "I think so? If I'm not bleeding, I guess?, still totally stunned and feeling some pain. Face throbbing, my wife asked for an ice pack, and the server brought us one. We totally understand that it was a freak accident, and that it wasn't our server's fault. But it got awkward from there as the crew working became avoidant. The girl that sat us saw me teary eyed from the pain, holding the ice pack to my face and asked if we were okay... but that was it. The atmosphere quickly became awkward, and considering the pain I was in combined with feeling totally weird from the staff, we asked for a box to take our uneaten food to go. Server brought our check and we were a little surprised to see that we were still charged for the drinks (one of which had spilled because of the umbrella) and the food. We paid cash, still left a nice tip, and left, wanting to get out of the sun and keep an eye on the swelling. We were really disappointed in how the situation was handled by the crew. We weren't looking for our apps to be comped, but it would have been nice for a manager to come by, apologize, offer to refill my wife's beer, and maybe move us to a different table since we were no longer in the shade. The team didn't go around and check the other tables to make sure the umbrellas were safe and secure, either, which was shocking considering what had just happened. We were really looking forward to hanging out, trying a little bit of everything off the menu, buying some cans or growlers to take home... but we left with a swollen, bruised face and chest and an uneaten $90 box of food that we ended up tossing because the mood was completely ruined. We rarely leave a negative review anywhere, but I guess this is just a PSA to check your picnic table umbrella if you sit outside, and hopefully a learning opportunity for management in how to improve customer service and safety for patrons.

They're always experimenting, and I've also been thoroughly impressed with their stouts, sours, and pilsners. 5 stars on the beer alone. For those who know the brews but haven't been to the Tewksbury location: come! Enjoy! The Clubhouse taproom is spacious, lively, welcoming, and run like a well oiled machine. Show your ID, get a bracelet, and the staff will pour whatever, and it'll be sublime. Drink it to wash down one of their tasty house-made pizzas; honestly, the pizza kitchen is far better than most local "house of pizza" places, and could probably survive as a business on its own. Give your order and you'll get a text when it's ready. Then enjoy the pie, which features a crisp, well seasoned crust with a nice chew. I had pepperoni with hot honey and a side of ranch dipping sauce; never thought I'd gush about ranch sauce, but damn, it's seriously good. Wrap up your visit with a to-go order of cans from their lengthy beer menu. No, it ain't cheap. Yes, it's worth the price. All in all a great chilling with beer and pizza experience, and a welcome addition to the northern burbs.

We've visited several TreeHouse locations over the years: Charlton, Saratoga, Deerfield, Sandwich,…read moreand now Tewksbury. We were in the area running errands and decided to make an afternoon of it. The beer, as always, speaks for itself and is the reason people make the trip. We also knew better than to take our chances with the pizza/possible wait - even on a Monday afternoon - so we picked up sandwiches from a local deli first. I'm glad TreeHouse allows outside food because that worked out perfectly. What prompted me to write this review, though, was the cleanliness of the Tewksbury location. Unfortunately, it left a lot to be desired. I'll agree with other reviewers that the place is full of unsupervised kids. The result is that there were large smears all over the windows in at least two locations - noticeable enough that I was surprised they didnt catch the attention of the staff and hadn't been cleaned as they happened. The bigger issue was the restrooms. The two bathrooms off the main beer hall have a very strong urine odor, the kind that suggests they haven't been thoroughly cleaned or sanitized in quite some time. It was so unpleasant that I opened each door, turned around, and decided to find another restroom upstairs instead. Unfortunately, that wasn't much better. The upstairs restroom door was difficult to lock and wouldn't stay latched, which made for a pretty awkward experience. TreeHouse has built an incredible reputation for its beer, and we've enjoyed every location we've visited (some are definitely better than others). A brewery that attracts this many visitors should be paying closer attention to the cleanliness and maintenance of its public spaces. And yes, the mini sign in the lobby that suggests that kids need to stay with their parents is worthless. Please parents, remember this is NOT a pizza place that serves beer. It's a beer hall with a pizza oven.
