They saw me the next day. They do a lot of things at Whole Life, from Advanced Practice Registered Nurses who can do pretty much anything a primary care MD can -- to message therapy or homeopathy. I saw Anna Swan, an APRN. She was not only a lovely person, but she took as much time as we needed -- which was about three times as long as I've ever been seen by a PCP at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Concord, or anywhere else previously. I thought I might have a sinus infection, but wasn't sure -- it could just be a new cold coming on the heels of an old cold. Anna said it likely was not bacterial. So, she sent me home with a list of natural remedies she has seen good outcomes with, a list of over the counter medicines she thought would help, a neti pot, and a prescription for Z-pack she said I could use only if the cold developed into a sinus infection if it didn't go away and I got a sinus headache. She said she didn't want me to have to come in a second time if an infection did develop tomorrow or the next day. I think this is essential -- to have a PCP who is comfortable prescribing both natural and medical establishment remedies, who does not prescribe antibiotics up the wazoo, but trusts me to make the right decision, once I'm informed of the facts. Whole Life Health Care, where have you been my whole life? And why aren't there more medical practices like this? Amazing!

They do a poor job of follow up, especially regarding referrals, and will give you labs with no preparation orders (fasting, etc.) They claim to be part of an alternative medicine network, but rarely will refer you.
