Place was nice and organized. They had a good selection on most of what you'd be looking for too. Only issue is that I was in for about 10 minutes when the guy working said to me, and the couple others in there, that we only had 15 more minutes because he needs to eat. This was about 4 o'clock. I get it, you need to eat, but come on. I drove out from the Palm Springs area, not the workers problem, and I wanted to spend time and buy some stuff. I called in the morning and was told they closed at 6. Guy was nice, but make your breaks known to people. If I knew you had to close the store for a break I would have made sure to come not during those times. Long story short, I bought a few cards I had already put to the side, within the 10 minutes I was there, and left. I went to a different card store and spent the time and money there. Tyler shop is closer to me, but I make the drive to the Canyon Crest shop as every time the staff makes you feel welcomed and never rushed. The absolute worst card shop I've ever been to. I don't mind paying a Markup to support a local family owned business, however you have the wrong people running this jawn. The dude behind the counter can't even ask if I need help, am I supposed to walk around and grab my own boxes? This seems to be a normal occurrence here. Don't shop here for any MSRP - all sealed modern Pokemon product (Prismatic Evolutions ETB - Blister for example) charged HIGHER than scalper prices and higher than Top Deck Keep on Tyler. They are also charging scalper prices and this shop is still 20% above that. This shop would therefore be 40% above scalper prices on Marketplace. Don't even bother spending your money here. So I came in 2/27/25 around 5pm. I walked in and was completely ignored by some big guy sitting behind the counter. He was on his phone and didn't ask me if I needed assistance with anything until I asked. I did not feel comfortable or welcomed in this store. Absolute horrible customer service if you even want to call it that. I love sports cards and was looking forward to visiting this shop for the first time. But after my underwhelming experience, I will not be coming back and hope this business learns how to be better at customer service because quite frankly there wasn't any. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. There are plenty of other shops that are willing to go above and beyond for you and make you feel comfortable. I normally go to cards and coffee, because they were i guess partnered together, it doesn't appear to be anymore, anyways, i was going to C&C and had a large portion of points saved up. I was told at rizo they broke ties with them. C&C closed in murrieta. I didn't get the mans name who worked at Rizo but he always is really nice and goes above and beyond with me and my orders/questions. He takes great care of his customers. I didn't have high hopes for this place and I was right to. Went in looking for One Piece and was surprised that they had it. That being said, they were charging it 100-150% over MSRP. Starter decks that MSRP at $11.99 they were charging $30 for. Booster packs which MSRP between $4-5 they were charging $11 for! I'm always hoping to find an honest and fair LGS, but this one isn't it. Just another trying to get customers to pay scalper prices for product. read more

Two stars because the guy was friendly and didn't mind talking while I was looking around, didn't feel pressured to buy and cards were nicely displayed. However the prices are off, $30-$45 cards being sold at $100+ is crazy. At that point there's no reason to try and negotiate because you can get what they believe to be an incredible deal and still end up paying more then necessary. Spoke to the owner of the shop and he was super friendly. We talked sports and cards for a good hour. I bought a couple raw cards and he gave me a great price. The wax is marked up but he is willing to negotiate on the price. Don't be afraid to offer a price your more willing to pay they will try and work with you. read more
