"Pleasantly surprised" is an understatement. I stopped by the day before Mother's Day, during what I'm sure is one of their busiest times of the year, completely clueless about what I wanted. I did not know bouquet prices, flower types, or even where to start. Despite how busy they were, the customer service was absolutely exceptional. They took the time to talk with me, walk me through everything, and really listen to the vision I had in mind, even though I could barely explain it myself. Once they stepped in, they completely brought it to life and created the most gorgeous arrangements. What impressed me most was how kind, patient, and attentive everyone was. It was for my mom's unexpected funeral. They were worked to accommodate our interests in 3 days and weren't skimpy on the arrangement. That was the most important thing for me. I wanted real volume not leaves. Magnolia's Flowers were filled in with colorful flowers and accents. HORRIBLE SERVICE I put in my order lastweek for mothers day and paid for additional fees for delivery & let me tell you it was very pricy. I contacted them in the afternoon around 2pm for an update on what time will my arrangements be delivered they said it was still at the shop & it will be delivered in the next 2hours ( around 4pm ). IT WAS NOT DELIVERED BY 4 THEY DELIVERED AT 9pm!!! The fact that they didnt even have the courtesy to contact me how late they were coming SMH I understand they were busy because it was a holiday but why deliver something so damn late, you know its a busy holiday book 10 drivers if you must it is important to deliver everything ON TIME & not when the day & holiday is basically over!!! I was very disappointed... & when the lady delivered it she just ran out and handed it to my sister inlaw outside & rushed into her car like noooo you go deliver it to the mother who it was for & apology for your horrible service!!!! Oh & the flowers were so shitty you can tell they just picked up whatever leftover flowers was there and sticked it in the vase!!! I went in personally to order flowers for a very good friend of mine who had passed away from COVID. My friend hated the color red in flowers , I ordered a standing spray of flowers and I asked them if they could make it in purple and white or lavender and white. They said they could! Clearly you can see in the photo that the flowers are red, pink and white! No lavender no purple as what I ordered! I was told when I ordered the flowers from Carolyn that I would be so happy with them, instead I was embarrassed the arrangement did not even look good, the flowers looked like they where old, and leftovers. The photo on the website shows a much fuller arrangement. After the funeral I called magnolia flowers to complain and they disagreed with me and argued with me saying that the flowers WHERE purple. They even called my daughter rude! All the employees blamed someone else for the mess up. Instead of just apologizing. They even accused people from the funeral for taking some of the flowers out of the arrangement. That did not happen as I attended the funeral and was there myself. I am so upset with this flower shop my husband ordered me Valentine's flowers to get delivered to my job which he does every year so i was totally expecting them. The flowers didn't come exactly like the picture, as the picture had 9 roses, the arrangement that came had 8, and there were other differences between what i ordered and what i got. It's not a huge deal but considering you pay extra for the "deluxe", plus rush delivery fees and other miscellaneous fees, they shouldn't skimp on the roses and think it's okay to just add more carnations or filler flowers. read more

I was going to a wedding in May and I was looking to make my own floral crown for the event. After driving to three other florists in the area, (Mullens Flowers, The Flower Shop and Flowers for You) and finding either the quality and selection of the flowers to be severely lacking or the customer service to be terrible. Every single one of them was very, very over priced. I used to work as a florist and have a very good idea of what the cost of those flowers should be and two of those three shops were charging nearly triple that. I was looking for baby's breath, white roses and pink roses for my crown. One of the florists (I believe from Mullens?) refused to sell me any of her baby's breath unless I bought an entire bouquet of which was no more than a few sprigs and she was trying to sell it to me for $20! I was very disappointed. Then I found Magnolia flowers. The store is absolutely adorable and the moment I walked in, I was graced with the smell of freshly cut roses. The girl working, I can't remember her name but she was about my age (24) and very sweet. She was polite and left me to my own devices but when she saw me struggling to make up my mind, she offered to help. I explained to her what I was doing for the wedding and how I was trying to weave the flowers together. She looked up some on Google to give me a few ideas and was full of so many helpful suggestions! She ended up suggesting a flower I hadn't even thought of and it was gorgeous! My crown looked beautiful and I ended up walking out with some fresh flowers for my home. The customer service here is high above average! The prices though, are the best perk of this shop. Every single thing was perfectly priced, very reasonable and in some instances even cheaper than I expected! I will not be shopping at any other florists in Riverside, ever again. I Pre ordered flowers a month in advance for Valentines Day from a set of pre made bouquets on display. When I realized I would need to pick up instead of having them delivered, I called and notified the shop about a week in advance that I would instead need to pick up, the lady who answered had no problem with that request. When I went to pick up the flowers, and asked for my delivery fee refund she instead decided on her own to add "additional" flowers to my order which I never requested. I dearly wanted the Weber Barbeque replica for my husband that Teleflora put out this year but didn't want flowers as my husband wouldn't appreciate them. I called several florists who either didn't have the Weber in stock or weren't too enthustiastic about changing the norm. Well I like a creative florist because I often go outside the norm and order things off the cuff like "make it a spring arrangement with a purple vase", instead of ordering a readymade offering.
