You can pack it all back up.... Its was nearly 1000lb of copper they decided wasn't copper and knew I wouldn't want to load that all back up. Unreal criminal crooks. They are copper heat exchangers all day every day from pool heaters not bronze or brass or whatever else they wanna call it that day. Only reason they get 2 stars is they have a good track record but not today. Hopefully this is one bad day..... w one idiot working and they re train him properly. Great service, these guys know how to do their jobs and go beyond for the customers. I drop by here…read morea couple times a month, usually the workers are busy but it's because the customers pretend to not know the rules and cut in line. If you get approached by a customer that claims they're in line, you can walk ahead of them if they're still getting junk from their vehicle. Don't let people bully you, just be cool and let the workers know what's going on. These workers are quick and not afraid to tell rude people to leave. Just be polite, to everyone, and make sure you sorted out all your recyclables. You get way more value out of recycling stuff here than you do behind Ranch Market. That is all.

Ricardo, that opened the bin, saw i was waiting first and i asked him how much time he needed to get ready to open and he said '5 minutes and I'll help you out' so i waited for him before starting to stack my bottles. While he was setting up, I asked if it was okay if I gave them a case waters that they can keep for the heat and he said ok, took the waters, then walked away from the bin and stared a conversation with some towing guy nearby. The other guy (Angel i think? It was hard to understand his words) finally mustered the courage to come to work as well, and he put out the barrels and asked who was first and everyone pointed at me. I said I was ready--then he proceeded to help out the 2 other customers :( 'Angel' and 'Ricardo' were disappointing on this Friday Aug 22, 2025. I am no judge of their character but the odor they had, the slurring in their speech, and the speed at which they moved woulda had me guessing they were hungover or drugs :( I'm not even sure they typed in the numbers correctly--the way they both were standing there staring at the keyboard. Then a postcard arrived from our trash company, CR&R listing nine hazardous waste drop offs, with MDS being the only one to accept smoke alarms. I did a Google map and headed on down. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and took those old alarms right away. Kudos to MDS for being willing to accept these items, especially since MDS is a commercial recycler. Their willingness to deal with Joe Public Small Fry is appreciated. And did I mention there was no charge?
