This store is horrible. They look to take advantage of people in the Academy. They have no respect for the Academy. They try to rip off the recruits. They change their prices daily. I would never buy anything from the store again. I'd go out of my way to go to another store that I at least know if if there's a problem, they'll fix the problem and be honest. The owner is not honest at the store and the employees seem to have no backbone until the owner. He's not honest I would never go back here again has been a multiple complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau about this store and the Academy has a complaint against them. read more

I want to thank the owner. He was so helpful to me. I didn't get his name, however, he stayed past his store hours for me, to make me a custom name tag for my work uniform. (I live an hour away from the store). He didn't answer the phone after closing, but he was in the store. I called to explain that I would arrive a few minutes after closing. If you do go and it close to closing call him and explain. He doesn't answer but I still past the store and the gate was almost all the way down, (I guess for safety) he was still inside. So I called again and waved at the glass and he let me in. The tag ink is in nice dark ink. My co-worker and supervisor both wanted to know where I got my name tag from because they got theirs somewhere else and the ink wasn't as visible. I am happy with my uniform name tag. He also customized my belt because I needed size 30" but it was not available so I got the 32" because the 28" was worn out looking and too small anyways. I wish he had the size I needed, however, adding the extra holes was a good enough alternative. If you need a flexible store to shop for uniform items at a reasonable price then you should give this store a try. I am going to be honest and say the price the lady said on the phone was $10 for the tag is silver and $15 if I got gold. However, the owner charged me $15 and I got silver. I just said in my mind that it was a tip for him staying 10 -15 minutes passed the time. He did try to sale me a size medium when I asked for a small, and I only asked for a small because most places don't have extra smalls, which is what I truly needed. I didn't purchase the shorts just the belt and name tag. Both came out to $40 with the extra $5 included. He didn't charge me taxes because the registers were closed. You many have a good experience take in account all the reviews and then you make a choice. read more

If you are going into the academy and have little or no experience or knowledge about the type of fit you need for admin or patrol uniform, do not, DO NOT go here!!!!! This guy will take advantage of you. He is only interested in making a sale and will feed you any BS in order lock you in a transaction. You will regret going here. I promise. This guy gravely lacks in service and integrity. Money is the bottom line for him - customer satisfaction can kiss his ass! Horrible place. Ordered my dress blues in December 2016 and it is a few days away from my graduation end of March and theyre not ready. Was told today I had to go to PNS because my uniform wouldnt be ready by my graduation date. Just a horrible place!!! Every time I called them, they kept telling me it would be ready the next week!!! The products are a little over priced. I didn't like the quality of the admin pants I purchased for pd. I felt like she were forcing me to purchase certain items although I told her I didn't want them. The woman's attitude varied, some days she were polite and other days she was nasty. The man that sows the uniform has an interesting body odor. I told him I wanted my pants long because I had them hem a pants I purchased at another and they were high waters when I put them on. Tell them you want the pants really long in order for it to be hemmed properly. read more

Just went here today to pick up a NYPD turtleneck. They were advertised on sale on the website. When I went in and asked for it she said it was regular price. I said it was advertised 2 for $25 she didn't answer my question. Since I needed it I went ahead and bought it but the service here sucks and they are very rude. If i could give this place no stars i would. 1sr off the lady there is so rude and disrespectful she dosnt know how to talk to customers at all. 2nd she sold people the wrong color shirt when someone asked about the difference she said it was fine and those were authorized shirts when they got to roll call they got hammered by the captain smhhhh also the quality of uniforms are trashhhhhhhhhh i had these pants less than a week and the buttons fell off the clip to hold the pants close fell off just plain horrible i would not recommend anyone to go here at all i would never give this place my money ever again they suckkk read more

The tailor here is horrible old guy, whom takes weeks to tailor pants. I called several to check to see if ready, he said it was then when I get here it's not ready. I live in queens, I normally go to "MAC" in BK for "anything" but I figure it's just pants right? I never come here again unless it's insignia, I don't recommend. read more

I came here to get my uniform shirts and shoes and an extra pair of pants for the academy, the customer service here was exceptional. Everything fits perfect as it should. The staff here is very friendly and helpful and they're prices are reasonable. I will consider this shop in the future to meet any of my needs. read more

If I could give a 0 stars for this place I would. DO NOT GO HERE FOR NYPD UNIFORMS. They will scam you and rip you off and while everyone in your company had their uniforms you will not. When you finally do get them, he reefer coat will be missing and they will lie and tell you there is a worldwide shortage on the fabric. Every month you call they will tell you next month. Now more than 12 months after ordering it's finally ready, but it's in a storage warehouse in NJ that they can't possibly get to within the next month. read more

The time they close is 7pm but i went at 6pm on a thursday and it was closed.. very inconvenient. Other than that its a small place with limited things and they do a decent job with sewing patches. read more
