Spot on - and not sending $$ to Mr. Bezos (as much as I love him!)…read moreMy son found he had outgrown his scout pants and his trip was imminent. I checked out Walmart and they didnt even have green cargo pants. Being that we live in Mineola, figured lets try Robert's. The sales lady was very friendly and helpful, and we found the exact size and type we were looking for. I was able to pick up some other items I needed while there, and the pricing was very reasonable - actually, equal to what I would find at dept stores, and competitive with Amazon.

I love this store!…read more First the lady that runs it makes you feel so welcomed. My son who is not a person who likes to dress up, needed his communion suit. We went in just to get an idea back in late February - pre pandemic. The owner take care of him and made him feel so comfortable. She was so friendly he insisted we buy a bomber jacket for him there. Of course he loves his bomber jacket! What 8 year old wouldn't. A number of moms have asked me about the jacked and I always direct them to Roberts. In February I planned to shop around for his Communion suit. When we left my son turned to me and said "I want to get my suit from there." Don't take me to more places I like her suits and I want to get it from this store. Surprised, I said "fine we'll come back in a week or two." Needless to say... the world shut down from the Coronavirus. His Communion was delayed until September. When we were notified of the new date in September my son turned to me and said are we going to Roberts? I need to get my suit, and I only want to go to that one store. He got his suit - he picked it out and felt so handsome in his navy-blue, Italian suit. He looked amazing but I'm bias. The two women in the store had masks on and handled my son who finds everything itching or restrictive perfectly. I can't say how much it meant for him to love what he picked out after living with so much uncertainty. Thank you thank you! His Communion day was a very special day. It was the first real celebration we have had. We have shopped at Roberts for Cub Scouting great as well.

Back in July I came into this place to purchase my sons uniforms for the year. It's his first year…read moreattending school so I didn't purchase much because I didn't know what to expect. Well.. October 2nd I decided to order him 2 more shirts and 2 sweatpants ONLINE. HUGE MISTAKE. I selected XXXS and then THEIR website prompts you to select YOUTH or ADULT. Obviously I select youth because after all he is only 3. Next day I get a phone call from someone to make sure the address is correct. 3 days later package arrives, shirts are perfect size. Pants.. well I ordered a YXS because again THEIR website reverted back to that size well I recieved a medium. So no big deal I call them and tell them about the wrong items and all of a sudden it is my fault? I am told I have to go out of my way to return the items and that I can't ship them back to the store because they have no way of tracking the items. I was so upset that I asked to speak to a manager. Never recieved a call back, two days later I cal again and get a nasty guy on the phone who tells me oh well bring them back and I will exchange it, then continues to tell me they don't have the size I need (2-3). But he will ship them once they "restock". I was livid. Fast forward to today.. I walk-in and was helped by a women with glasses (ONLY person who was nice and sweet) and she helps me exchange the items, and I also purchased 2 more sweatshirts. I then explain what happened and she herself confirmed that a YXS is a size 4 (which Is what I ended up getting today being that they don't have a 2-3). So I kindly ask for a refund on the $8.71 for shipping since their employee mad the error and she said let me call up. Well she calls and is told to tell me "no, my fault I selected it". Well I let her know that indeed it is NOT my fault and your seriously going to charge me $8.71 for shipping In which YOUR employee who shipped the items made the error? She then went to the back to talk to him again, and came out and said he won't refund. I went ahead and disputed the charge of shipping with my bank immediately. I am disgusted with how the person on the other end handled this entire situation. I don't live nearby and had to drive 45 mins EACH way to return items YOUR employee messed up. Should I send a bill for my gas and mileage? Might I add I run a very well established salon that now has 10 locations, and as a manger myself, I would NEVER treat someone with such disrespect as this "manager" did today. Over $8.71.. had you offered a t-shirt or money off the sweatshirt or something.. I would have been fine with that. But instead you chose to hide in the back and let your employee do your dirty work.p

Paid for Premium Shipping -- Item Still Hasn't Shipped…read more I placed an order with ArmyNavyUSA.com on 02/19/2026 at 9:41 AM PST. At checkout, they offered three shipping options: Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and UPS -- with UPS being the most expensive option. I chose UPS, assuming the higher cost meant faster or at least prioritized handling. It is now February 26, 2026, and the item still has not shipped. When I reached out to customer support, I received this response: "Unfortunately the UPS option is not a fast shipping option." That explanation is baffling. If UPS isn't faster, why is it presented as the premium-priced option? Charging more for a shipping method that doesn't actually expedite processing feels misleading at best. After looking into the company's reputation, I noticed their Trustpilot rating sits around 2.3 stars, with numerous reviews specifically mentioning slow shipping and poor communication. What's even more concerning is the pattern of nearly identical owner replies apologizing and promising to "improve processes," while the same issues continue months later. At some point, repeated apologies stop meaning anything. Paying extra for shipping, waiting a full week without dispatch, and receiving vague explanations is frustrating and disappointing. Transparency matters. If processing times are long regardless of the shipping method selected, that should be clearly disclosed before customers pay more. I'm genuinely curious to see what generic, templated response will appear under this review. Hopefully it includes more than the usual "we're working on improving." Buyers should read the reviews carefully before ordering. Also just look at the photo they have on Google Maps...look at the front of the store...do you want to order from here?
