I had moved, and was no longer able to be on site, and she handled all of the last minute issues before closing. My house sold quickly and at near asking price, which means that it was correctly priced and well represented. She earned her commission and I am ever grateful.

The agent in charge of the property denied knowing this. I am told the town was called to place the stop order that was next to our door for months, and that stories like this are not uncommon. The customer service was not willing to discuss this with us, only started shouting the minute we mentioned why we'd called saying they wouldn't hear this anymore. I don't know if someone else had called them already but this was not the reaction I expected, and they were not polite or reasonable in their conduct.

Now it is a week and a half before I was set to move in on 12/1and I have to scramble to find a place. When I asked why he didn't call to tell me he had not received my check, he claimed he did not have my number which cannot be true since we had several calls already about the check and he could have easily called me back, not to mention that a rental application has my contact info, both phone and email and home address and work contact etc. He didn't even apologize! He did not do anything illegal, but it was certainly not what I would describe as honest. I would not rent anything from him or his company if I were you. The listing agent was marginally effective at first, with a package and listing price that seemed reasonable. After signing, he was virtually unreachable, placed zero advertising, and put in little to no effort. Additionally, the listing was placed incorrectly, so that it was not viewable to anyone looking on the major marketing sites, and it showed up erroneously in a different county more than fifty miles away... for four months. This is an agency that doesn't care about the customer, look elsewhere for someone who knows the market and is willing to put in the work.
