I've never had a problem there. I was ALWAYS leery about quick oil change places, generally speaking. I'd heard many horror stories. Besides, I used to work in an automotive-related field, so I always had somebody to perform this routine maintenance. But these guys are trustworthy in my experience, and always pleasant. They did not try to annoyingly up-sell me an air filter, PCV valve, or trans service EVERY time I was there. Just when it was truly necessary. They mail a reminder card at the 3 month mark, and they used to be a coupon as well. They are also related to the car wash next door, and give a car wash coupon with service. It can be tricky to get out of there...especially when they're busy. You have to merge into the car wash line out back and exit via the alley. But it's never really a problem. I imagine the lines out front can get tricky during peak car wash and oil change times. I always tried to go M-F during the day, so I'm not sure how much of a hassle it is on weekends and such. But I highly recommend them based on my many experiences there.

No need to go inside and be subjected to speaking to another human through stained bullet proof glass. That said, you still get subjected to some of the same bullsh*t that you see elsewhere on the West Side. Q: Are those other people pumping gas into their vehicles? A: Nope. The patrons are just parking at the pumps for extended periods of time to purchase hot chips, sugar water and lottery tickets. Protip: Purchase a gallon of gas here to get yourself to Oak Park where you can fill your tank for a fraction of the cost.

I checked each tire but was unable to really tell WHICH tire was low! Not knowing the town I decided to call the local Firestone dealer as that's the brand tires that I have on my car and they suggested that I bring it in and leave it with them as they were already booked solid from the "regular" customers! We dropped it off around 8:30 and true to their word... they checked all four tires, brought the pressure up to the recommended level, and.... reset the car's alert system... all before 1:30!! Top it off with restaurant suggestions, a complimentary map of the city, two very professional and personable owners and sponsoring such a wonderful cause as therapeutic horsemanship and that's five stars in my book!! The problem is that they are extremely rude and not helpful to customers if you want to get either the 10 cent per gallon cash discount or credit when they had a loyalty program. We were just in this morning, and my wife went to pay with cash. She said she would give him $60 but it would probably be $55, and would come back to get change. He gave her a look, so she said "Is that a problem?" His response: "Yes, it makes me work twice." Seriously? He wasn't doing anything, anyway! It's not worth saving the extra money on gas to get cash pricing, and their credit is roughly the same as a few other nearby stations. Nope, not coming back! One star for service, 2nd star ONLY because the cash price is less if you want to put up with the BS and crappy attitude. :-(
