I decided to stop in and take a look at what they had to offer. Walking through the door I felt like I entered a medieval apothecary shop and fell in love with the rocks and crystals all around me. They have almost everything you can think of for rocks and crystals. Ranging from mini statues and spheres to hand carved masterpieces or natural formations of larger rocks. Everything is reasonably priced if you consider these are rare rocks and crystals smaller pieces being more accessible and affordable. If you are looking for a large living room mantel piece $400-$600 for these rare stones and one of a kind artistic carvings is more than reasonable. They have homemade candles and even tumblers that are amazing quality. I wandered through wanting to spend tons of money I didn't have everything drawing me in. I was helped by Heather and her pup Chev. He's an older dog and deaf but his customer service was astoundingly good as was Heather's. Any question I asked she either knew the answer or obtained one for me via contacting the owner in real time and even the owner provided an excellent experience responding within seconds to my inquiries that Heather would ask her. I ended up getting two candles and a few small decorative pieces for my new apartment. For the money I spent I'm more than pleased with the quality and if you believe in crystals to be more than just a rock the benefits they brought to my life and home AFTER JUST A DAY! The candles smell absolutely wonderful and they are handcrafted by Heather's grandmother. I got Banana Nut Bread scented and eucalyptus. I immediately lit the banana nut bread candle when I got home and my neighbors thought I was baking it myself. The eucalyptus candle I lit in my bedroom and let my fan blow the scent around allowing for a soothing and refreshing night clearing my sinuses and soothing the irritation of dry air and dust. I purchased a tiny carved mushroom a small moonstone sphere and a garnet carved eye. They sit in my window for sunrise and moonrise looking beautiful in the sun and moonlight. If you're looking to get into crystals or even just decorate with stone carvings and have some amazing smelling candles this is THE SPOT! Top notch service that isn't just people (shout out to the lil old man Chev) Gorgeous selection all for reasonable prices. You honestly have got to come here if you haven't been here even if it's just to look around. If you do stop in odds are you will leave with something you want. We had it in for 3 visits within 6 months for repairs. They tried to convince us that we needed to pay $3,800 to have it remade. It was not adding up to us and our trust in them began to fail. I finally picked my ring up in the condition listed as needing to be redone. I took it to a recommended family Jewelry Store in St. Clair and they were saddened that it was not receiving the care or expertise needed to make my ring perfect again. I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Lawrence jewelers. Sam Clawson at the Lawrence Jeweler in Fort Gratiot, MI, worked for over a week trying to convice me that my rings were worthless and my smaller diamonds were nothing but chips, my larger diamond was not the quality I thought I had. He assured me I would be wasting money to repair something of it's quality that was so badly damaged. My ring was from Mosher's Jeweler and had been serviced by them for 30 years. I had appraisal certifications to prove the quality and value of all my rings. At the end of our "relationship", Sam was all set to sell me a new wedding set for over $12,000. When I asked for certain information in writing, the whole attitude changed. This jewelry store is not operated as a quality and trustworthy jewelry store. From the first time inside, we felt we were being hustled but wanted to see if we were correct. After their "scam" went south, we left and went to Coughlin Jewelers in St. Clair. They appraised all my jewelry in accordance with my previous appraisal certifications. Not only did they repair my wedding set, they replaced two of my diamonds with larger stones, replaced the one lost emerald, took the two smaller diamonds that had been replaced and made earring charms for me. All for $2,500. I will never darken the doors of Lawrence Jewelers and would advise EVERYONE, before making a purchase, you will be better served and get better quality by going to Coughlin Jewelers in St. Clair, MI.
