Fantastic service! We were in town briefly with our converted van and the AC quit working (in…read moreJune). We pulled up to this place and they graciously took us in immediately (despite having several weeks of work on other vehicles). The guy was able to diagnose and fix the problem and get us back on the road pretty quickly. Would absolutely recommend this place. Honest and fair!

We are New in Town. (We all know how that is, don't we? Most of us have been " new" to some town,…read moresomewhere... Yes the games being played towards the "outsiders"...) We were referred to them. We went in twice, bought stuff because we didn't want to bother them for free with our questions when they were not busy at all when they had no one in there. And even that, they still discriminated us with (a mid-aged guy and the young choppy girl with a pair of glasses, both are short below 5'5") They blew us off because they thought we were there for free stuff with discriminating remarks " I can't order anything gor you for free, I gotta make $"... ( Um, why did they think we were there? Oh, trying to give them $$$!) The young woman with glasses, acting with the guy throwing remarks in between "look at the craps made in China", loudly shouting to make sure we heard her, the rest of the world heard her. What's wrong with what she said? nothing EXCEPT: she purposely did it for political purpose, to discriminate and shame me, the customer who happened to be a Chinese-American, 100% Chinese by looks and gene. Now you know why she said what she said? (For the readers: No I don't believe in racism because racism is not a word but a political banner. Prejudice is an individual problem, not a generalization issue. Use my case here as an example: The individual was just an uneducated, small minded, 3rd class, small town individual. If I were a snow-white, she'd find some else disrespectful to say. My point here is: they need to know that no customers are stupid or should any customers take their low class bs disrespectful games. ) We, as customers, out of towners, were referred to Thomas and sons by multiple stores including camping world down the street. My Caucasian-American husband is 55, I am 42, do we look we are stupid? The lesson they are learning is: 1. I will not be giving any business to them. I currently need services, and I have found plenty of other places to go. 2. Before I had a chance to give them some businesse$ (which exactly why we went back there for), their small minded mentality which led them to play small minded games, already bankrupt them. Big cities have big city problems, small towns have small town problems. When a small town wakes up and cry about " how your local economy is not doing well." The very first thing for you to do is not jealously blaming everyone else who are doing better than you but taking a very clear look in the mirror.

My one star is actually too much. I called the Auto Center Department, at this Walmart to get info…read moreabout an oil change and pricing (which I didn't get the correct information) and the Walmart employee was so rude it was ridiculous. I went in later that day to get the oil change and he was even ruder than before. Honestly I've never ran into an employee at Walmart that behaved like he did, I normally never run into any rude Walmart employees honestly. I'm not sure if he should even be in customer service, but who am I? What I do know is that someone should definitely speak with him about his disgusting mouth and attitude. He was white, with a long white beard and pudgy.

My friend had his parked car totaled by a hit and run driver. He didn't have collision or…read morecomprehensive insurance because it was only a $3,000 car and the car is unrepairable as we had to cut the rear subframe to clear the rear tire that miraculously was undamaged so he could move it off the street. It's drivable, but only for an emergency. Therefore he plans on taking it to a junk yard. He also had new premium tires all the way around. The front tires on my car were bad, and would not pass an inspection, so they needed to be replaced. We agreed on a price and I would pay for transferring the tires. I took the rear tires off his car and took them to Walmart on East Kearney, Springfield, MO to have them swapped out. When the bill came, it was $20 short. They refused to put the old tires on my friend's rims because they were too worn out. So now I have no tires on my friend's rims. So the only way to get the car to the junk yards to find the best price for it is to have it towed! Walmart didn't have the decency to talk to me first about the problem, and I had to go to the department manager and then the store manager to get this resolved, but all the inconsiderate store manager can suggest is I either hunt down someone who will finish the job or hire a tow truck at a higher price than I was going to pay for the tires. Finally, after causing enough of a scene and refusing to pay for their incompetence, they offered to put the bad tires back on my rims and the new ones back on my friend's rims. I find them grossly inconsiderate and incompetent in failing to tell me before doing half of the job requested.
