We went here for an anniversary dinner and I cannot stop thinking about the miso butter scallops. First off for the service, they were great. A little awkward but hey aren't we all at some point? The vibe of the place was really nice. The colors worked well together and there was a lot of great lighting. For the food, my favorite was obviously the scallops. I almost ordered another order but they gave us the dumplings as a free gift for our anniversary which was super nice and unexpected. The yellowtail carppacio was my 2nd favorite dish. The sushi rolls were okay to me. We didnt realize both rolls had gochujang on them but I felt like the gochujang was too much and took away from the rolls. It felt like we weren't eating sushi at that point which is why I docked a star. I would definitely go back for the scallops alone. read more

Have had a couple dinners dining in and once carrying out. All very good, and will certainly be back! The best food IMO is the sushi--all fish have been fresh and delicious. And the price for the portions is very reasonable. Especially have enjoyed the trout and scallops. If you're just one or two peoples, strongly recommend sitting at the sushi bar. I ordered takeout from here. The yellowtail and salmon avocado roll. The yellowtail is some of the best I've ever had. It was really delicious. The avocado to salmon ratio was a little off for me. It's a cute spot. I haven't sat down to eat there yet. read more

Tried at the recommendation of a friend and was impressed! The location is a new area that just got rebuilt last year. The inside is clean with lots of natural light. I ordered from the lunch menu and got 3 rolls (2 spicy tuna. 1 spicy salmon). I also got a miso soup on the side (I had not realized the lunch special comes with a small miso soup and house salad). Delicious food - fresh fish, craftily made sushi, and beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately service is incredibly slow and aloof to the fact that it took us 2 hours to get served our food. Our waitress was very kind but somewhat distracted and unaware at how unprofessional the service was, forgot what I ordered, forgot to tell us the app we ordered was no longer available, and said there was no food they could provide us while we waited for over an hour for any food whatsoever. I wish the best for this establishment and want it to thrive but i don't know what was up with everyone tonight. Super weird and frustrating dinner. read more

Everyone working there was friendly and helpful, and the vibe was refined without taking itself too seriously, for instance, they had 80's-90's remix music on in the background. The food was amazing. The sushi was great and the service was good. The fish was very fresh. The menu had a lot of great options and while there were vegetarian, vegan, and cooked options. The menu and staff said very different things about the gluten free dishes. There was a lot of confusion around which dishes had gluten and which did not. Ultimately, my friend who was gluten free was not able to get a dish that they were certain did not have gluten. Besides that, the food was great and the building and design was neat and polished. Sorry to say it, but this was a huge disappointment. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but other than that we walked away unhappy and have no plans to return. We were seated right away, drink orders taken within the first 5 minutes, but then we were completely forgotten about, which may be understandable if it's crowded but only 6 tables had guests. Another waitress came over to our table 25 minutes after that drink order and asked if we had been helped, we told her we were still waiting on our drinks and waiting to order. She got our waiter and he came over to retake our drink order, which he didn't apologize for. Once we ordered, the edamame came quickly but then we waited another 40+ minutes for 4 nigiri and 1 speciality sushi roll. He completely forgot to give us one of the nigiri we ordered, cleared my edamame before I finished it, the rice tasted very sugary, and the uni was mushy, falling apart and soaked in soy sauce. We were offered a free mochi ice cream as an apology for the wait, which was nice since we didn't complain about anything in the moment but decided not to take the offer. read more
