This setup clearly refutes Canadian Car Shipping's claim that damage was caused by "freeway speed winds." Facts: * My 1989 Nissan S-Cargo was delivered four days late, arriving at 10:44:26 PM on March 25, 2025--near midnight after weeks of delayed pickup and rescheduling, leaving me only a few hours' notice and no chance to inspect the vehicle in proper daylight. * At 10:46:48 PM, I discovered a significant tear in the factory-installed, electronically operated sunroof, which now allows water to leak into the cabin during rain. Pre-shipment photos taken by their carrier Diesel Auto Express at pickup confirm the sunroof was undamaged. * The vehicle was loaded backward on the lower rack of the transport trailer, positioned directly behind the truck driver's cabin, with another car on the upper deck so close to the sunroof that there was virtually no clearance. This setup clearly refutes Canadian Car Shipping's claim that damage was caused by "freeway speed winds." * Canadian Car Shipping falsely argued that the sunroof as "convertible tops, decorative tops, T-tops, boots, bras, caps, or any other cloth or canvas covers or accessories" inaccurately classifying it as a removable accessory--comparable to a "bra" or decorative top--even though it is an integral, permanent part of the vehicle. * They further denied my claim by enforcing an unreasonable 24-hour damage-reporting rule--a policy tied to their decision to select lower-tier insurance, which was never transparently disclosed nor offered as an option for higher protection. * Additionally, their online claim portal was non-functional when I attempted to submit my claim; I have a screen recording to demonstrate that the website prevented proper submission. * These tactics--including misleading explanations, deliberate mischaracterizations, and unreasonable policy enforcement--indicate a clear attempt by Canadian Car Shipping/Easy Auto Ship to evade responsibility for damages incurred during transit. * Photo and video evidence is available for review corresponding to each stage of the shipment.
