Roadhouse was right across from our hotel and turned out to be a great and convenient choice! This restaurant is very reminiscent of an American steakhouse, which was both interesting and convenient for us! There is a ton of seating (with lots of space, not super common in Europe!) and there is a wide variety of good choices. We were seated as soon as we got there and the service was great! My husband enjoyed trying local Italian beer and I had a nice glass of Prosecco. For dinner we both had a steak and it was cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a solid meal that is convenient and quick, I highly recommend stopping by!

On recommendation we went to this Steakhouse. The first impression: It was extremely loud! The…read morerestaurant has been very full. Loud music and guests have tried to talk louder than the music, of course. Unfortunately, a conversation at normal volume was not possible. Next, I noticed that the floor was pretty dirty. Here and there, crumbs and fries etc. Okay, I've tried about a blind eye . The food: On the table were already peanuts and shortly after ordering the waitress served free nachos with salsa. For our main course we ordered lamb filet and ribeye steak. The taste was perfect and grilled to the point . The price: Appropriate for the quality . Anyway, I think I'll not go there again, because of the loudness I felt uncomfortable. But if you don't mind about that, you should go there and enjoy delicious food. Other guests told us, that the burgers are very tasty as well.

Let me start off by saying WOW one of the best steaks I've ever had and that's say a whole lot…read more Very small yet open and inviting restaurant. We were browsing the menu outside when the owner was nice enough to invite us in. We ordered wine and got complementary appetizers which consisted of some meat and bread with olive oil and balsamic. We browsed the menu and couldn't decide on what to get because unlike other steak houses this one had many many other cuts to choose from but we settled on the infamous BISTECCA ALLA FIORENTINA. After we ordered it took about Roughly 15-20 minutes before our perfect piece of meat came out. The meat was tender and juicy and so perfectly seasoned. Every single piece of meat was meat in your mouth worthy. Even though the piece we got was huge it was sooo good my sister and I finished it no problem. We were even tempted to take the bone home and chew on it but that wouldn't be lady like... Service was good. Wasn't very many people dining when we were there but regardless they were very attentive and I would definitely be back.

The SO really wanted to try an authentic Florentine steak, as he read that many restaurants in…read moreFlorence pass theirs off as legit when they are not. We were let down by our first attempt in Florence when the meat was tough and mostly flavorless. After much research, he decided we were going to The Cut. We luckily scored reservations via thefork, one day in advance. We started off being served complimentary prosecco and a grilled mortadella amuse buche. We ordered the carpaccio chianina, grilled ember vegetables, and their daily special, an Argentinian beef (10 year old dairy cow that had been aged 60+ days). We asked if we should order any toppings or sauces, and the answer was no - neither was needed (as the flavor of the steak should stand out on its own). I appreciate that. Unfortunately, they ran out of the carpaccio chianina, so the owner comped us a chianina tartar so we could try the infamous chianina. Very tender yet robust flavor, especially with the salt. The steak (medium rare), cooked perfectly and very tender, but I can't say it was amaze-balls. Also, both this and the chianina only came in rib eye (not full T-bone), but that meant we could order 1 kg instead of the 1.2 kg minimum. That was good since between the two of us, we could not even polish off the 1 kg. The grilled ember vegetables were delicious! Too bad there just weren't that many of them. The owner apologized and told us they were on the house, since his shipment did not come in due to the holiday on Monday. We are from out of town, so honestly we wouldn't have know the difference if that was a normal or sparse portion. That was nice of him. Service was A+. Attentive, knowledgeable and so hospitable. Reservations are a must! This is a small restaurant and many parties were turned away during the duration of our meal there only.

He was awesome and had us laughing the entire night. We peppered him with a lot of questions about the menu, he answered everything and also accommodated my father-in-law, who is GF. He had his own GF bread basket and was able to order almost anything on the menu. We ordered a nice bottle of Montepulciano red for the table that was $48. Others had the Hugo spritz. For app I had the anchovies with roasted red pepper, sea salt and oil over grilled crostini, very good. I skipped first course and ordered the ribeye steak for my main course. Bone in, medium rare, sprinkled with sea salt and a side of onion marmalade. The steak was very good and had way less fat than I expected. The waiter suggested a huge steak for the table, but I was the only one ordering steak that night. Maybe next time. Others ordered the fillet and it was cooked perfectly, the angels and demons gnocchi, and the veal scallopini. Everybody was pleased Really cool spot with a very good wine selection, drinks, excellent food and a fun atmosphere that you don't find at many places. Nugo was an A+ server.

Waiter was super friendly, taking time to explain their wines in detail and food options. They even have a kids menu with sizeable portions for older kids. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and it was definitely the best wine we had with meals in Florence. Gnocchi and wild boar taglietelle were outstanding. Had we had come earlier in our stay we might have come back again They also do a wine window which I wish I'd known about earlier because the other one we tried for fun was not good
