a plate of breakfast food
Mary T.

We came here after church and had a nice breakfast. They made my hash browns nice and crispy so I was really happy about that! Everyone liked their breakfast but I was not wowed except for the large orange juice. It's a nice tall glass! The service was great. I've never been to a breakfast place that is also a bar and a casino...very interesting place. I would come back to try lunch or dinner.

Hot cakes w my omelette

It's open 24/7 and it's always open everytime I go when I need food at odd hours. And the waitress is always right on the mark w my order and she reads my mind. She's sharp and kind. The food is always decent and served hot. For a diner it's actually better than some restaurants in Grand Forks so if I need some honest to goodness good food to fill me up and don't want to wait 45' I will go there over and over. Hash browns nice and golden and eggs done just right. Hot cakes yummy. They cook it fast and even take out is packed hot. Stayed hot in cold ND weather for my drive home.

Being on the road is always difficult when your a fat kid and you are on a graveyard sleep schedule. My "dinner time" is usually around 4am. After some yelping I found a review that said this place was 24 hours. I thought this was a better bet than IHOP. I don't know why I didn't realize it until I drove up to the place but this is a truck stop type diner. It's nestled between the main gas station and a little casino type deal. Not that that's a bad thing, just sayin'. It actually looks fairly new and is well kept. Anywho, the food is your typical greasy spoon kind of menu. They gravy seems to be made on site. The hash browns are good. So is the bacon, and the sausage and they keep the syrup warm. If you need to pull an all-nighter they also have carafes of coffee. The service is also great. You always worry about being 'that guy' that comes in during their slow period. The waitress was very pleasaAs long as I'm in town I'll be a regular.

Dropped in for morning breakfast on my way out of town. You seat yourself after walking in the door. Sat down and immediately placed my drink order. Returned several minutes later and took my order. I went with the All Meat Skillet. Food took a while to come out. And I do mean awhile. Thus the 4 rating. It was bacon, sausage, eggs, and potatoes with a choice of toast or pancakes. I selected pancakes. The cakes were fresh thick and fluffy. Really good. The skillet was delicious too. Could've used some onions and maybe peppers for added flavor. The two bacon always actually thick cut and not that cheap crappy stringy stuff. Also came with two sausage links. Overall good diner food.

Excellent service! Delicious three meat omelet, perfectly crispy has browns. Very nice!

Change your restaurant hours. Just drove here and you aren't open. Your website says 24/7.

It's like a Perkins in that it's an upscale version of Denny's or IHOP.

Not an extensive menu, but it works for a bit of energy to get some sustenance for a walk on campus. Keeping our expectations low, since it's a cafe in small museum. We ordered quinoa and chicken risotto bowl and a bowl of bison chili. The museum is small and just only a few rooms, some more on the upstairs level. Small gift shop.

Chef Heather Schneider came out to share a little bit about the Cherry soup. It was prepared with the cherries picked from the tree in the garden outside the cafe. Served cool and refreshing on this summer day. It was the perfect combo of sweet and savory with fennel and cherry- delicious. For the main course we split the Salmon BLT and Italian Chopped Salad. Both were fantastic. We were told the Salmon BLT was the favorite and we can see why. Smoked salmon, fresh lettuce and tomatoes with local bacon. The chopped salad was equally as tasty. Loved all the fresh veggies - kohlrabi, roasted squash, olives, tomatoes, chicken, salami, topped with a fabulous house made creamy Italian dressing. Just as we were finishing devouring the last few bites, our server delivered complimentary cookies as a sweet surprise finish to our already wonderful meal. Extra star for the fun art that we checked out before leaving.

Unfortunately had a very disappointing experience visiting the Board Room for the first time, and most of the issues lay in the fact that it was severely understaffed, with only one employee working every single station in the place - registers, drive-thru, drinks, and making food. This poor girl could not handle a small rush of 8-10 customers. We waited at least 30+ min for our coffee and probably another 15 min for two breakfast sandwiches. Their menu is impossible to find online and they don't have any social media updates indicating seasonal options. Even once you get inside, the menu is on three screens on the back wall, and difficult to read due to tons of options and small print. My biggest issue, however, was the fact that there were absolutely zero descriptions of any of the drinks! Many of the specialty drinks had fun names, but no clue what was in each one. I certainly did not want to stand at the register asking the only employee to explain each one. Went with the cold brew flight, which was also disappointing. You choose 4 different syrups and have them topped off with like 2oz of cold brew and whip cream. I guess if you hate coffee and want something super sweet this might work, but I couldn't taste the cold brew at all (also an indication it wasn't very strong). My husband got a s'mores mocha, which was delicious, but took 35 min to receive. Breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels were tasty, especially liked the chipotle mayo they give you as a sauce on the side. If I'm going to wait 45 min for food though I would go out to brunch at a nice sit down place instead. Don't stop here if you're in a rush to get anywhere. Ample parking in the lot outside, drive thru available too.
