This food truck was a light blue color with two workers and served cinnamon rolls, pretzels and hot chocolate. My wife and I ended up ordering a pretzel with cheese and then a cinnamon bun for ourselves as well as another one which I ended up giving my mom for Mother's Day. The pretzel itself was $8 but it was one of those massive ones that you see at stadiums and came with a small side of cheese sauce. It ended up being nicely cooked and the outside of it had good texture while the inside was nice and soft. The outside of it did not have too much salt and both my wife and I enjoyed dipping it into the cheese sauce. Our cinnamon bun was similarly good as we enjoyed the pecan topping as well and the frosting and cinnamon flavor to it. The bun itself had a nice and soft consistency to it which made eating it quite nice. My mom also said she enjoyed the cinnamon bun which was nice to hear! The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Clearly this food truck isn't going to provide you with a full meal, but it certainly does have some fun stuff to snack on.

The winery uses California grapes and other, locally-sourced fruits and traditional winemaking techniques to produce small-batch, handcrafted wines. They sell their wines through their website, at a couple local businesses, and at some farmers markets and festivals. I first encountered Mingo Creek Cellars several months ago when the owner, who is one of the very best review writers on Yelp, kindly gifted me a bottle of sangria. As he released more wines, I had to try more! In recent months, I purchased three other wines: Blushberry, sweet strawberry-apple; McFarlane's Blueberry Battalion, sweet blueberry and named after Major McFarlane who fought in the American Revolutionary War and the Whiskey Rebellion; and Blackpaw Treaty, a semi-sweet blackberry cabernet named after the secret agreement. I loved all of these wines! Mingo Creek Cellars currently sells many other wines: Cavalier Cab, a dry red cabernet sauvignon; Bradford's Blaze, a dry syrah; Whispers of the Hill, petite sirah; Militia Whisperer, Gewürztraminer; Rebel Scout, a dry riesling; Forbidden Flame, a semi-sweet with raspberry and dragonfruit.

Luckily, with just two of us, we snagged seats at the bar. Despite the morning rush, the staff worked seamlessly to keep tables moving and guests taken care of. The drip coffee was solid. I ordered the two-egg breakfast. Everything came out exactly how I like it without even asking--crispy bacon and breakfast potatoes with crisp edges and soft centers. Their famous biscuits were outstanding: dense yet incredibly soft and flaky, slightly sweetened with honey. I asked for some jam and their peach jam was also delicious. Glad we made it here!

All I want to say is GO NOW…read more This place is AMAZINGLY delicious. Church let out a little early so I decided to take my daughter since I've seen many great reviews on this gem. When you walk in, the long line looks a bit intimidating. However the FOOD was so worth the 15-20 min wait for us to order our food. I applaud how quickly you get your food after your order has been taken. Now into the good stuff. The Corn-beef Hash was calling my name. When I say I had not 1 regret, it was AMAZING. The corn beef itself was very, very tender flavorful and delicious. What topped it off an extra notch was the chimichurri sauce drizzled on the side. Absolutely amazing. Never had a chimichurri this delicious in my life. My daughter ordered the chicken biscuit with homefries. Which was also very good. The chicken is made out of chicken thighs to give flavor and tenderness. Potatoes were nice crisp on the outside. The biscuits itself are also very good. However I couldn't focus on it after tasting the corn beef. It amazes me how quickly they get the food out and seem to always have enough seating after you place your order. Heads up, the setup is different than your typical diner. You order your food first, then get a table. This process works well for them. And out of the dozens people that was in and out, didn't complain either. This is located on a side street that does require paid parking. Not sure which hours the paid parking is mandatory at. However don't let that stop you. Just go!

Oh my farm heaven! Call it Pig Heaven- this is my local farm fresh creator of the Notorious P.I.G- a any time of day burger that is best ordered farmer style (with Millers Mustard and Organic Kraut) I like to add a farm fresh egg to make it even better. OK if your a vegan you can skip the meat and order a grilled polenta topped with Cowboy Candy (the Cowboy Candy is an organic homemade pepper relish that has some sweet and some extra heat and like candy is addictive). For Glutten-Free diners order Annie's Open Faced PIG on Polenta. Kids love our beef dogs with ketchup and polka fans love the Keibasa and Kraut with spicy homemade mustard. All ingredients and condiments are farm fresh and local with the exception of Heinz Organic Ketchup. Order in advance at thefarmersgrill.com. Blackberry Meadows Farms is the oldest certified organic family farm in Alleghany County. Meet the farmers at the grill, order a CSA and pick it up at the farmers market. They sell frozen meats, eggs and farm soap - best to order online for market pick-up @BlackberryMeadowsFarm.com. Free water and lots of good food - this is the best farm to hand stand in Mt Lebanon on Saturday. Also find the farm growing and cooking in Squirrel Hill on Sunday, East Liberty on Monday, Natrona Heights on Wednesday and Northside on Friday. My family waits for the farmers grill to open and this was a long winter. Enjoy and spread the word to help support small local family farming! Not to be missed and bring friends and family for a fun local agriculture adventure. Yum! this is a good as it gets because you know where the food comes from, it is all humanely produced and it is just so darn good.
