Had exact change to ship a package - $33.81. The clerk added 4 cents and told us that they round up as the penny is no longer made. We explained that we had exact change. Clerk said we needed to pay 33.85 or his drawer would be off. So we just got penalized for using cash. I am trying to make sense of this business model. Would give two and a half stars if I could. So rounding up on this one. Always willing to support our community businesses...so when we needed to receive a fax out and about they were at the top of the list. Unfortunately, they do not tell you they have $5 minimum for using a card to pay. We got the fax number off of their answering machine which would have been a great place to let people know their payment policies. They also charge full price for a cover sheet which seems ridiculous and might lead to a breach of privacy. This was an eyeglass prescription which couldn't be emailed. Anyway, the employee behind the counter's solution was to charge me double to meet the minimum. Kidding not kidding? ‍ Definitely wasn't the owners as the employee I was interacting with was very nervous almost afraid to bring up the issue of a card minimum and was looking over his shoulder at the other workers during our interaction. I offered to go to Von's and get cash back as I wasn't about to overpay when I was literally at FedEx and Staples but wanted to support a small business that came highly recommended by a close friend. Maybe they should sell soft drinks or small tchotchke items to meet their rigid requirements or just charge a fee like a gas station or bargain market. Love the disco ball boys but your tight payment policy especially when it's crazy hot outside turns off future customers and is a vibe killer. Hopefully your employee didn't get in trouble for whatever he did to solve my problem. I would have bought some See's candy but it was hot outside and I wasn't going home anytime soon. I'll stick with the chains for stuff like this in the future, and recommend others do as well. read more

If you have packages to return that you have prepared with a prepaid label, this is the place to take them. The services are defined on the windows and it is only a few steps from your car. Parking is easy and plentiful. Jessica J. was my helper today. She was friendly and efficient. She knew what to do and quickly printed out my tracking number and was finished in mere minutes. But best of all was her extra service in offering to carry in my packages. I walk with a cane and while I could have brought them in on my walker, her help carrying them in for me was very much appreciated. I will be back when I need any of their other services. read more

I really wanted to support a gay owned business and this was an epic fail. I personally drove to the location to give them a sample of what I wanted. That visit was great and I expected an answer to my question which was how much would it cost to make these. Three weeks go by and I have heard nothing from them so I write an email sharing my disappointment and express my desire to still get the quote and work with them. I get an email from Bob telling me how sorry he is and that the automated system must have sent the email to the spam folder. I check the spam folder and there is no email from Roadrunner. I thought he would have answered the one and only question I had of how much would it cost to make the receipt envelopes I gave him as a sample in the email but he still does not. I really have a hard time supporting a business that wants me to do all the work. He had all the tools he needed to discuss the quote yet he never did. I will end this review with saying that I never got the quote I ask for. I was hoping to build a lasting business relationship with Roadrunner Print and Ship but when they don't participate it leaves me with no other option than to give my business to Postal Palm Springs and Canyon print. read more
