I think we stayed up past 11 pm working out the details. And even though my trip is more than 4 months away, Janice still responds immediately to any questions and problems I have regarding my trip. She will even get on the phone with Disney customer service at 7:45 pm on a Saturday to resolve issues. I never once felt like my trip was the last thing on her agenda. She even responded to my inquiries while she was on her own vacation Throughout the days leading up to the trip, she sends valuable tips on what to expect at Disney World. I have benefited from these resources tremendously as it will be my first time visiting the park. My husband also has a disability and she's taking it upon herself to find out what it entails so that she can break it down for us to ensure our trip is truly a hassle free experience. I have worked with 2 other agents before Janice and did not go through making trips with them because it seemed very clear that they just wanted to give me quotes so I can book a trip and be done. We were initially charged a rate to pay for the entire trip package. We were told several months later that the charge of the trip increased four hundred dollars, but they would give us a two hundred dollar deal due to africa's transportation expenses. When we arrived in ghana, inquiries were made, and it was indicated that since the trip was paid in u s dollars and not the country's currency, Cedes, there was no need for Colesville travel agency to request additional money from their customer. In addition, other inquiries were made by other travel agencies about the same practice. We were told that once the initial price and down payment have been quoted and made, there is no need for a travel.Agency to request months later, for more money for the trip. There were so many disappointing factors and dealing with Colesville, i.e., incomplete international travel information; itinerary updates when there were changes; impatient when asking questions; lack of concern when there were delays in travel and follow up to know if we were okay at our lodging. The trip was great, but it was due to the host company's in Africa. Their tour guide and driver was great professional and protective.Ensuring that lodging and everything that we did was timely and pleasant. Thanks Colesville for allowing me to learn that there's a better way to travel rather than going through the US' travel agencies, who are the middle man, and bamboozling its customers can be likely. ​

Travel Advisor Performance Issues…read more Booking & Itinerary Errors * Provided incorrect travel dates on multiple occasions. * Included incorrect dates on the initial itinerary. * Failed to provide a consolidated final itinerary containing flights, hotel, transfers, cruise details, transportation information, and emergency contact information. * Instead of creating a comprehensive itinerary, forwarded vendor communications piecemeal. * Utilized four different transportation providers without providing a clear, organized transportation plan. Payment & Billing Issues * Sent communications regarding deposit payments on behalf of guests who had not yet paid deposits, without consulting the host. * Initially ignored requests for an itemized bill. * Subsequently stated that an itemized bill could not be provided because it was a group booking. * Failed to provide a payment schedule. * Provided multiple conflicting final payment deadlines (March 15, April 5, and April 7). * Frequently requested payments at the last minute, including a hotel payment due the same day it was requested (on a Sunday). * Requested one cruise payment only three days before the stated due date. Communication & Customer Service Issues * Ignored inquiries regarding host upgrades and available perks. * Demonstrated poor communication practices, including a lack of professionalism and basic courtesies. * Frequently indicated she was traveling and unavailable, leaving clients feeling they were not a priority. * Failed to proactively assist with requests, often directing clients to resolve issues themselves. * Never provided meaningful apologies or accepted responsibility when errors occurred. * Consistently shifted blame to either the client or third-party vendors. Flight & Transportation Issues * Failed to honor requested flight seating preferences. * Did not ask a guest traveling from another state whether she wished to depart from her home airport. * Failed to secure transportation with sufficient capacity for passengers and luggage. * Assumed luggage allowances without asking guests how much luggage they planned to bring for a nine-day international trip. Cruise & Accommodation Issues * Misrepresented cabin locations by stating all guests would be on the same floor, when one guest was assigned ten floors away from the rest of the group. * Booked a double-occupancy stateroom with only one bed for two guests on a seven-day cruise. Event Planning Failures * Failed to make reservations for the birthday dinner, which was the primary purpose of the trip. * Refused to accept responsibility for the missed birthday dinner reservation. * When asked to modify a dinner reservation time on the ship, instructed clients to handle the change themselves rather than assisting. Overall Pattern of Performance * Demonstrated repeated inaccuracies, poor planning, inadequate communication, lack of proactive customer service, and failure to take ownership of mistakes. * The trip experience was negatively impacted by a recurring pattern of preventable errors and insufficient client support. The whole purpose of using a Travel Agent is for worry-free planning and travel. This was a celebratory Milestone occasion and I spent part of my birthday trip apologizing to my friends for Cindy's subpar behavior and lack of professionalism.
