Today they also have a nursery area for plants, herbs & tree's. This is a throwback experience to when produce stands and markets were plenty. A true outdoor roadside market, the folks that work here a helpful and friendly, the last of it's kind around these parts and it beats the prices, freshness, selection of those inside farmers markets. I love Bear Creek Park so I'm glad that the Farmer's Marker is located here. I tried chai tea from a food/drink truck and walked around to check out different vendors. The vendors I spoke with were friendly and shared their story of how they got started with me. I bought some macarons, Nutella hand pie, lavender felt kit and hyacinth seeds for gardening. There were plenty of local vendors and some food vendors available. There was live entertainment whiche as fun. The desserts I bought were delicious and I'm looking forward to working on my lavender felt kit, as well as planting seeds. If you happen to be looking for a fun event solo or with friends or family, I recommend stopping here. I look forward to my next visit to the Keller Farmer's Market.

I asked her if they were driscolls and she said yes we use Driscolls when they're not in season.... This is so misleading! They should be labeled as driscolls especially with the controversy regarding them and their sprays causing cancer.

I recommend parking in the lot across the street as opposed to street parking. The sheer amount of vendors is overwhelming and I really love to support local, but I almost feel guilty because there are more vendors than my wallet can afford to support! There is something for everyone though! I love the farmers market aspect of it, lots of fruits, veggies and homemade items. You'll also find honey, sauces, candies and of course there are food trucks and stands. We had some amazing agua fresca on our last visit! There are also about a dozen booths for those of you with a green thumb! Tons of plants and flowers to purchase and some sell seeds, I believe. This is a pet friendly market with a shaded table and water bowls for you to bring your furry friends. Some pets are friendlier than others, but I've never seen anything to be worried about. I wouldn't bring any pets that aren't calm around other animals though. There are several booths with natural, organic and gluten free goodies for your pets. We got a few this last time from two booths and our dogs inhaled them. Lots of fun specialty flavors to be found, and I learned that chewing on chicken feet are apparently great for a dogs teeth. Who knew? There's also a lot for the shopaholic and those who like interesting pieces for your home decor. I saw a few booths that do jewelry, clothing, bags and quilts. I want to take a closer look at the blacksmithing, knife making, pottery and wood work. I was excited to even have those as options! Prices will vary based on the vendor and products, but with so much to explore you're guaranteed a good time! Generally the market hours are every Saturday, April through November from 9am until 1pm. However, there are currently summer hours through Labor Day of 8am to 12pm. Plan accordingly!

Fresh veggies grown locally, crafts, jewelry, clothing, quilts and acoustic music. Locally grown coffee was interesting and even four food trucks. Shaved ice, bahn mis, brick oven pizza and bbq. There was even a water slide for the kids. And when one of the local community leaders is there with his family, I'm guessing that's a good sign. There were so many veggies I wanted to purchase. Plenty of handmade goods and grown items in the pavilion, and a lot of indoor shops and restaurants to browse nearby as well. This place has far more than we expected! There's a great blend of fresh goods that welcome a bit more commercial goods, nestled in a neighborhood. I must also say that it's bigger than Houston's markets. While I'm not crazy about the parking, I'll definitely be back.
