**Beware of Rob Levine & Associates - Unethical and Incompetent Representation** Our experience with Rob Levine & Associates in handling my husband's Social Security Disability case has been nothing short of a nightmare. I cannot emphasize enough how deeply disappointed and frustrated we are with their services. Firstly, without our knowledge or consent, they contacted the Social Security Administration (SSA) claiming to be our children's minor representatives. We can only assume this was part of a scheme to collect a larger contingency fee, as the standard fee is capped at $7,200 or 25%, whichever is less. This move felt incredibly deceitful and unethical, raising serious concerns about their integrity and motivations. Communication with them was another major issue. After our initial representative was abruptly switched (something that appears to happen frequently based on other reviews, particularly on Yelp), we were left in the dark. Most of our attempts to contact them were met with silence or unhelpful responses, making an already stressful situation even worse. It's clear from other reviews that this lack of communication is part of a broader issue within their corporate culture. To make matters worse, they mishandled crucial details of my husband's case, including getting his disability onset date wrong. This mistake cost us thousands of dollars in benefits that we should have received. When we confronted them about it, they offered no meaningful solution, leaving us with the difficult decision of whether to risk a re-appeal or accept the loss. this is a horrific law firm. do not take your case here. they will send a person out to your house and they will ask questions and leave. you will never ever see an attorney and you will never get calls back and you will go from one paralegal to another and then one year later you will discover they did not have your records and screwed up your entire case. then; no other attorney will take your case because they will say it was with another attorney for a year and they will say they sent you your file but they have not. you literally will be left with thousands of dollars of bills; life long injuries; medicare liens and blue cross liens and all because this law firm does not act like they are lawyers and they do not meet with their clients and what they are doing is enough to sue them for legal malpractice. other lawyers will tell you to report them to david curtain; who is the disciplinary board for attorney's in ri; but the disciplinary board in ri has not done anything about any complaints in ri but for one. unless you are raped; they do nothing. leaving you with life long injuries and debt because they practice law illegally does not matter. do yourself a big favor and never ever go to any law firm where you do not meet face to face with the attorney handling your case or a law firm that has no receptionist; no secretary and literally nobody in the building or office but one person who says he or she is a lawyer and then wants to take $15,000 from you and then does nothing for three years. ri needs to have a much better disciplinary board and ri lawyers are getting away with malpractice all day long. read more

I called Robert Levine law office because I needed an Attorney for Social Security. They are very nice and sincere. They really care about you and your problems. And I mean I called them a lot. Crying my eyes out. Michael Puente was awesome very nice man. I ended up not wanting to go through with it. He didn't charge me anything. Then I decided I have no choice because I can't work. He took. Me back and gave me a new worker Gerry Cuadra he also was so kind. They both helped me so much with my case getting all the paperwork together. They assigned me to Dee Hansberry she was my Attorney. I really didn't care for her at first because she was kind of rude because I didn't understand some things. And I felt like she was rude I was going through a lot. When we went to Court she did an absolute great job she won my case. Thank you Dee Hansberry. I just have one problem. I called her because I didn't understand what the Judge said. And she sent me a text back and I took it like she was being rude talked to me like I was stupid. I didn't appreciate that considering I have a lot of mental problems. And she just pretty much discarded what I asked I felt like I got on her nerves by asking my question. And it was the first time I ever called her. Like I said I have some problems could have been how I took it. And it made me not want to reach out to her again. I need to see the Judge again because they are not giving me my SSDI or my back pay. Only Social Security. And the Judge said I get it all. read more

Rob Levine is 300% an Amazing Law Group. I have experienced nothing but excellence from the entire Firm, no matter who you are working with as your case manager at the Firm. This attorney is a heartless human bien he took my wife's case fir disability back on June 25th 2019 my wife is is in mass general hospital with chronic stage four renal disease heart disease and lung disease well the attorney took my wife's disability case in June then all of a sudden we received a letter stating that attorney Lavigne stated that he's no longer going to take SSI cases this was after his law firm sign fee agreement with my wife Janet Torres when I asked his secretary why she said he decided 2 months ago but yet never informed us til last week the coward had a letter sent to my wife that he no longer will have her case that son of a B. I originally called Morgan and Morgan when I wanted to get help w applying for SSDI. They said I wasn't eligible bcuz I had already retired. I called Rob Levine and his assistant Marichu Dianon handled everything for me. She called my local SS office on a three way call and waited on hold for 40 minutes to make sure I was eligible. She filled out the application by asking me all the right questions and submitted it for me on my behalf. I really couldn't have done that myself, with the am state I was in. She also got me a few extensions for me when I was missing deadlines to return forms from SS. She was very kind and explained things well. My case was approved in 3 months. Part of that is bcuz I'm over 60, but Marichu really helped and I'm glad that she was the one talking to SS for me. She was kind and calm and easy to talk to about my health conditions. Hazel has been a great point of contact for my disability case. She is the person I send all of my doctor visit updates to, and she does a great job serving as the liaison between myself and SSD. Although Hazel was not my first contact at the firm, since taking over my case she has been much more consistent with communication than my previous contact. She has regularly taken my phone calls, confirmed my emails (which in any given month could be approx 8 different physician visits that need updates, answered my questions when needed, and has always been willing to help. The staff members are so pleasant & very patient with clients. The receptionist is so busy but makes it look so easy and every call she answer super friendly. During my intake session the paralegal was very nice. Rob came in and spoke with me during the session. He did not look down at me because of the facts to my case.
